You felt the strings grew tighter around your neck, but not enough to chock you.
"I didn't say you could leave. You will be staying here until I kill Buggy or I kill you. I'm was going to let you walk around, with out my strings but now you won't go anywhere with out me or these." He said tightening the strings around your neck. You gasped slightly.
"Do I make myself clear?" He asked. You nodded, feeling stupid that you thought you could escape.
"Good, now stand up." He said. You did, still holding your arm. He threw you a cloth that you caught.
"Wrap your arm, I don't you to leak blood on my deck." He said and waited for you. You wiped up all the blood and saw it wasn't as bad as it looked. You wrapped the wound and felt a tug on you neck. You fallowed him, feeling like a dog on a leash. As you walked, you saw he was leading you off the ship and once you stepped onto the land you screamed.
There was a corpse hanging from a tree, rotting in the sun. Doflamingo laughed as you covered your eyes.
"Riku Dold III. The 'king' of this island." He said, spitting out king in a disrespectful manner. He pulled you and you looked at him.
"Look at this man here." He said. you shook your head but Doflamingo grabbed you by the back of the neck and shoved you near the corpse. You were almost nose to nose with it.
"This is what happens when you cross me. You have been lucky because I have a need you. You cross me one more time. You will end up like this man here." He said and dropped you. You backed away in horror.

"Stand up and fallow me." He said. You did as he said without a word. You never wanted anyone to find you more then Buggy right now. you were lost in thought and had bumped right into Doflamingo's back. You jumped back and said sorry but he wasn't listening. He then turned and had a wicked smile on his face.
"I just thought of something. If Buggy comes to find you, I know how to take him out." Doflamingo said. You stayed quiet, looked down but he put his hand under your chin and made you look at him.
"If you want to leave here alive, you will fight Buggy till he his weak or dead, or I will cut you into ribbons in front of him." He said and laughed. You shook your head no and he looked at you.
"No? Well to bad." He said and you looked away.
"I will not fight him." You said. He grabbed your neck and made you look at him again.
"Listen here girl. Buggy won't leave this island alive and neither will you." Doflamingo said. You struggled against him so he let you go.
"I thought you said you would let me go!" You yelled. He started laugh again before looking at you.
"I lied." He said and you felt the strings around your neck tighten. You gasped and tried to grab them but more came out, wrapping around your wrists and held them down.
"In fact. I will end your live now, that way when Buggy see's you, I can kill him easier." He said and you gasped, trying to kick and get away but you couldn't move and it made things worse.
"LET HER GO!" You heard. Doflamingo released you and you gasped as the air flooded your lungs. You looked with blurry eyes and saw Buggy standing with his knifes out.

The Exiled Villainess Returns
(Please heed the warnings above before reading) Reborn into the beautiful but deadly world of Ethetia, she comes to a sudden awareness that she is now Livia Katrina Valentine, a character of a game of a reverse harem she once played on Earth called Aster Academy: The Feuding Houses. But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.

Dragon Knight Prophecy
A hero, a dragon, and a love that breaks all bounds. A fantasy story of a man trying to save his homeland from a terrible war by completing a prophecy nobody fully understands. To complete his mission he needs a dragon but the road to the dragon’s lair goes horribly wrong, and when he finally faces the beast he stands alone. A deeply emotional story that deals with pain, regret, betrayal, and failure. Despite it all somehow our heroes discover they need each other and slowly come together. With the help of some dedicated friends they realize their love is special, and go on to forge a new world befitting their unusual union. If you like dragons, romance, a little magic and a lot of war this might be for you. This story eventually evolves into a very loving harem, where the women rely on and love one another just as much as they love our hero. Please note: I am an amateur writer who started this story as a form of therapy while my wife was teetering on the brink of death. Thankfully she survived but by that point I was so committed to telling this story I couldn’t stop. I learned a great deal about writing over time but I am afraid my early chapters were very rough. I have since gone back and begun to edit them, applying the lessons learned and cleaning them up. I hope you will still enjoy the story, as I love sharing it and I can’t imagine a better use of my time. Sexual content.. In seven books I have written two sex scenes, but one of them will be highly edited once I reach them with my rewrite. Overall I imply our characters are sharing their love but don't go into any great detail as to how. So if sexual content bothers you, it is only lightly touched on twice. The Dreamside Road
Five years after the world fell into chaos, a treasure of artifacts is up for grabs. The relics of the Dreamside Road offer a power that could help rebuild or annihilate what remains. Orson Gregory is an adventurer for hire, but hunts this treasure for answers, not glory. Enoa Cloud’s late aunt helped hide the Dreamside Road, but following in her aunt’s supernatural tradition offers her as much peril as power. Together, Orson and Enoa battle a magic-obsessed militia, clash with a host of rivals, and face constant adventure on their journey to find the Dreamside Road. *Updates Monday and Friday The Dreamside Road is now on TopWebFiction! Vote so people know this exists. _____________________________________ NOTE: The Progression tag applies specifically to Enoa. Also, fair warning, that element doesn't enter the story until she begins her studies. Content: Main characters range in age from teenagers to people in their thirties and older, but it will not contain gratuitous violence or explicit sexual content. It also won’t shy away from implication, anything to make this story and its world feel more real. Characters will freely allude to potentially triggering topics, including living with a disability, facing terminal illness, coping with trauma, surviving societal destabilization, and the consequences of bigotry. At its most intense, the Dreamside Road is a hard PG-13. Worldbuilding: This is not a story with a lot of early exposition scenes, conveniently explaining ‘magic systems’ and political dynamics. Readers will learn, progressively, as the characters do. This story/world has a ‘magic system’, or rather, a set of systems, but the effort to quantify and understand the truth of the setting plays a role in the backstory, as well as in some character motivations. In that same vein, not every character has a firm grasp on the nature of their world, and not every piece of dialog from every character should be taken as entirely truthful Worldbuilding. Also, this isn't the softest Sci-fi. There are at least some basic explanations given for various elements, but Royal Road does not give me a spectrum to choose from. Given the choice between hard and soft, let's just say The Dreamside Road won't be cited in any college Physics papers. Setting and Theme: The Dreamside Road walks the line between fantasy and science fiction and deals with finding one’s place in a changing world. Many of the characters in this story are United States natives and the story begins in the United States, my homeland. However, knowledge or interest in this country is not necessary to understand the story, especially as it progresses. Also, as this is a novel that deals with societal collapse and while that damage may be widespread, in story, I don’t want to overstep and critique the culture of others’ unless I have particular knowledge in a given area. Ultimately, the Dreamside Road is American in the same way Harry Potter is English, fantasies that do not have a full secondary world, but with enough original elements to fully diverge the setting from our the real world.
