Rewrite still needed.
---------------------------
I changed clothes and combed my long blonde hair. Afterwards I left my home and knocked on the door of my neighbors. I quickly fixed my shirt and a few moments later Foggy opened the door. He greeted me with a big smile and told me to enter the flat. It was just as big as mine but there wasn't that much furniture. I couldn't see a television or any pictures.
Foggy walked to another man. He was quite tall and had short brown hair. Plus he was wearing a grey suit combined with a black tie - altogether, he looked really formal but this styled fitted him very well.
He just stood there but smiled. Foggy leaned to him and whispered something. Afterwards the man walked to me.
"Hello, I'm Matthew Murdock but since we are neighbors you can call me Matt." He smiled at me but he didn't look at me.
"I'm Jardine Eva Gibson but don't ever dare to call me like that. I prefer Jade. Nice to meet you, Matt." I chuckled and held a hand to him.
"Nice to meet you too." Matthew replied but didn't shake my hand. He still didn't even look at me. I felt like I misdid something and looked at Foggy seeking for help.
He walked over to us while chuckling. Then he stopped beside Matt and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Matt, this nice lady just wanted to shake your hand." Foggy looked at Matt who just chuckled in response to this. Afterwards Foggy looked at me and continued talking "You have to be lenient towards Matthew. He's blind."
My heart missed a beat and I moved my hand through my hair. I felt so stupid in this moment. I couldn't have known that he is blind but that didn't make it any better.

"I'm sorry." I said and looked awkwardly at them.
"Don't worry about it." Matt was still smiling, which made me feel better.
I smiled lightly and looked at Foggy who told us just a few seconds later that we could have dinner now. Subsequently we walked in the dining room and sat down at the table.
While Foggy put some of the food on our plates I still wondered how it is to be blind and how someone should manage their life when they can't see anything. I didn't want to ask Matthew because I was afraid that he didn't want to talk about this topic.
While we had dinner they asked me some stuff about myself and so did I. They told me that they opened their own lawyer's office some months ago called "Nelson&Murdock". Furthermore they told me that they went to school together and that both of them are 26 years old by now. Actually they told me everything I wanted to know but there was only one thing I wasn't sure about yet. I didn't know if they live together in this flat.
Both of them started laughing. Then Matthew answered: "No, we don't live together. This is my flat but I allowed Foggy to prepare dinner here because I heard what was going on as he opened the door."
After we finished eating we talked for some hours. Slowly it got late and the sun went down so it got dark outside but it was still bright in here. There was some violet and blue light shining through the windows which filled the whole room.
I got up and walked to the window to see where the light was coming from. There was one of those big screens for advertisements. Matthew obviously heard that I walked to the window because he walked to me now. For a few moments he didn't say anything. Then he turned his head to me and explained that the only reason why these flats are so cheap is this screen.

As it got even later I said goodnight to Matt and Foggy and left the flat to walk back into mine. I went in the bedroom which was just as bright as Matthew's living room. I knew it wouldn't be easy to sleep here but I was terribly tired already so I let myself fall in my bed and fell asleep after less than five minutes.
Two days passed which I used for spending time with Matt and Foggy and to I try my best to find a job.
Today I had a job interview for the position of a cartoon artist for a newspaper publishing company.
In my opinion the interview went very well but I had to wait for a call of the manager. The longer I had to wait the more nervous I got.
I wanted to go to bed early to stop thinking about this but I couldn't sleep because I was way too nervous so I decided to go outside. I wanted to clear my mind so I got up and put on some clothes.
While walking along the streets I crossed my arms to keep myself warm because it was autumn by now - so it was cold. All in sudden I heard some noises and walked closer. There was a man who was wearing black clothes and a black mask which covered the upper half of his face. He was fighting with another man, actually the man with the mask was punching the other man who was laying on the ground.
I pulled my phone out and wanted to call the police as the masked man suddenly got up and turned around to face me. I held my breath and stared at the man. I expected him to walk to me now but he just stood there so I made my turned and slowly started walking backwards without taking my eyes off him. As soon as I was quite sure that he wouldn't follow me I started running.
I got back to my flat safely. I locked the door and took a deep breath. I was really happy it that I could get away that easy even though I didn't understand why.

Keys of the Endpoint
Keys of the Endpoint is an illustrated web serial about the re-birth of civilization in a fantastical world suffering from a recent apocalyptic event. Every day, people appear from the storms that ravage the Endpoint. Whisked away from their own time and place by storms in their homelands, these newcomers find themselves in a hostile place made up of ruins and people from every timeline imaginable. Stranger still, they all soon discover they're carrying silver keys that grant each holder incredible powers. On Earth, most people have mundane excuses for the disappearances, but not Isaac. Having lost his brother Finn to one of these storms, Isaac becomes obsessed with finding a pattern. Not to prevent more people disappearing, but rather to get taken by the storms himself in order to find his brother. While chasing Finn’s faint trail, Isaac soon discovers how little he really knew about himself, his brother and how much loss one person can take. In Keys of the Endpoint there's portal fantasy, personal drama, magic (useable by everyone), plenty of combat, power progression, mysteries, factions, feuds and eventually war (in that order). The magic system is well defined and modular with nigh infinite combinations. The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on. SWTOR: The Alpha Legacy - Alexandra 'Under the Black'
This was the first character backstory and first full story in The Old Republic era after 'Project Alpha: A Summary: 'Old Republic to Current Operational Era'. This one was actually written much later. Several of the full stories were done and there was a need to introduce the Mother of several of the main characters. Much later on I started a timeline and this seemed to fit nowhere else, but right after the introduction story: Alexandra De'nabre lost everything on one of the moons of Felucia. But life found her again. As a Mirialan Jedi, she was sworn to the Unity and to the Force; casting both away once she believed both left her. The Force finds her again. And brings her back a part of her life she believed she lost. Her children. But in a cruel twist of fate, the very Republic she once defended is suddenly out to get her. Not because in her new life as an infamous pirate she committed crimes against them. The children she lost are now wards of the Republic and a special project called: Alpha.
