《Dear Asshole || ✓》bonus chapter // before

i remember how this whole story was impulsively written overnight back in 2014 due to procrastination. thank you so much for everyone who has read it. i'm so honored.
dear asshole was the first story and probably my only story with the letter format but i've decided to add bonus chapters that had the usual story format that i do as a tribute to my characters here. chapters with would be before xavier's accident and would be after the accident.
as a caution, the bonus chapters will not change or enhance the plot line of the story but rather further elaboration for the story itself and for the characters.
without further adieu, here you go.
Robyn Maxwell never had a criminal charge before but today may be her lucky day. She could feel her blood boiling as she maneuvered the school halls, her face adorned with her signature frown.
"Robyn, c'mon, don't be like this," Xavier said as he tried to catch up with her.
Oh yes, Robyn Maxwell might get her first criminal charge today for the murder of her own boyfriend.
"Leave me alone, asshole," Robyn growled.
"Again, with the pet names?" Xavier said, "Aren't you just the sweetest?"
Xavier managed to grab her shoulder but Robyn shrugged his arm off, giving him a murderous glare. With a sigh, Xavier held her hand and turned her back to him. Robyn was still glaring when Xavier cupped her cheek with his free hand and led her lips to his. It held the same tantalizing taste she always loved and it was always his method to calm her down. His lips felt slightly chapped than they usually were but Robyn couldn't deny they were addictive nonetheless.
Freshmen and sophomores were probably gawking at them as they made out in the middle of school halls but juniors and seniors were used to them. Robyn and Xavier always had this Tom and Jerry dynamic even before they were dating and had to develop their own methods of dealing with their frequent arguments.

Xavier pulled back with a smile, his hands resting on her waist. "Are we good now?"
"Not yet," Robyn said before letting her palm hit the side of Xavier's head. A satisfied smirk reached her lips when Xavier winced letting out a definitive oww. "Now we're good."
With a roll of his blue eyes, Xavier rubbed the spot where Robyn's palm landed and said, "Fine, I deserved that."
"What's up with the Ridgeville's royal couple?" Tessa Lyon said with a smirk as she approached them. She was the Vice President of the Homecoming committee and one of Robyn's friends that was used to her outbreaks. Opening the classroom where they'd usually have their org meetings, Tessa led them inside so they wouldn't be in the way of students in the halls.
"Royal Couple?" Robyn snorted. "I feel more like the royal nanny taking care of the spoiled prince."
"That's a disturbing thought for a young prince to be physical with his caretaker, don't you think?" Xavier quipped. Robyn felt her cheeks heat with Xavier's retaliation. They'd just began having sex about a month ago and Robyn needed to consider that when she'd make comparative insults for him.
Tessa's face scrunched up. "Oh god, Xavier, that's a disgusting picture stuck in my head now."
Robyn elbowed Xavier with a glare. "Shut up."
"But, really. I'm curious what you're fighting over now," Tessa said, "Didn't you two just had dinner with his parents last night."
"Yes, we had dinner," Robyn said, "And no matter how hard I try I can't process how Steve and Carol were able to conceive such a dickhead."
Xavier chuckled but ignored her words because she'd always used it as a counter. "Well, Tessie," he said, turning to the bright eyed redhead, "Robyn's mad because I forgot our halfaversary."

Tessa's brows scrunched together. "Halfaversary?"
"She told me that's what people call their six month anniversary."
Tessa turned to Robyn with a curious look. "When did you became so concerned about anniversaries? You weren't like this with Callum."
Robyn groaned with the mention of her ex-boyfriend back in sophomore year. Xavier's arm wrapped around her waist and the other on her shoulder and before she knew it, Xavier was resting his chin on her the space where her neck and shoulder meet.
"That's because she only celebrates halfaversaries with the love of her life," Xavier said. Robyn leaned closer in his arms because it always felt like home to her.
"It's not just that," Robyn said, her hand lacing with the one Xavier had wrapped around her shoulders, "Callum and I broke up after four months so we never really did hit the six month mark."
"God, you always enjoy being the third wheel, don't you, Tessa?" Damon Samuel said as he entered the classroom. He looked at Robyn and Xavier entwined together with a scornful look. "They're practically making babies in front you."
"Damon, stop skipping SexEd so you actually know what making a baby looks like," Robyn said, rolling her eyes. She was too comfortable in Xavier's arms to be considerate about Damon's bitterness over their PDA.
"As their official third wheel, in my defense, they spend at least a quarter of their relationship fighting," Tessa said with a grin.
"Gee, thanks," Xavier said, sliding off the arm wrapped around Robyn's waist. Robyn bit her tongue to keep her from complaining about the lost warmth.
"Whatever," Damon said, "Ms. Williams is calling one of the officers of Homecoming because she had a question about the theme."
"I'll do it," Tessa said, "I was in charge of the theme anyway." She gave the couple in front of her a small wave before following Damon out of the room.
Robyn heard Xavier sigh and stopped herself from smiling when his arm wrapped over her waist again, tightening his hold on her. He left a kisses on her shoulder leading up to her neck before whispering, "What do you have plans for tonight?"
With a smack of her lips, Robyn contemplated before suggesting, "The Lord of the Rings marathon?"
Xavier groaned and Robyn chuckled because she expected him to do that. "It's our six month anniversary. Let's do something that's different from what you usually force me to do with you," he said.
"You didn't even remember that it was our halfaversary," she pointed out.
"Touché," he said, nuzzling his head to her cheek. "I don't like counting time when I'm with you. Each measure of time feels like it's not enough. Even forever doesn't feel enough for me when it comes to you."
Robyn smirked. "Even if we spend the quarter of the time fighting?"
Xavier let out a soft laugh. "Even then." He kissed her cheek softly and rested his forehead on the side of her head. "Love you Robyn."
Robyn melted further into his arms. "I love you too, asshole."

Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
