i saw the way mattia looked at me and my heart immediately broke

mattia: what do you mean you... killed someone..?

devin: like you killed killed someone ?

i nod.

hollis: please elaborate

(i'm going to skip a line once a while to make it easier to read)

y/n: last year taylor and i were walking around town late at night and we ran into a drunk man. i mean i don't know if he was drunk or high or whatever but he wasn't making any sense.

he was hinting that he wanted sex but taylor and i refused and he pulled out a gun. we ran as fast as we could to my car and drive forward. i looked back for just a second because i thought he was chasing us but turns out he took a shortcut and ended up in front for us.

my car hit him hard and he never got up

taylor: what did you just do ??

y/n: i-i i thought he was behind us- i didn't know he was in front, i didn't see him (i stutter)

i get out of the car to check on him and he wasn't breathing.

taylor: you killed him (she says shockingly)

y/n: oh my god (i cover my mouth) what do we do?

taylor: okay uhm (she looks around to see if anyone was around) okay there's a camera over there.. i need go inside and delete the footage.

present

a few minutes later she came running back out while i was still standing over his body.

taylor told me to get in my car and drive but i couldn't just leave him there. when i get back into

my car i call 911 anonymously but by the time they got to scene, i was already gone.

the police think he died of an overdose and alcohol poisoning so they never really investigated further but i knew the truth. i was the one who took his life (i start crying more)

devin: it- it was an accident and plus he would've killed you

mattia: you didn't mean to

y/n: well the police aren't going to see it that way if taylor gives them the footage. that's why i have to do everything she says

my mind hasn't changed. i said i would do anything to protect her and i meant it. i just needed to figure out how to get rid of taylor.

y/n: do you guys hate me ?

mattia: no of course not

devin: baby i could never hate you

hollis: me neither y/n

felix: you're like family to me

she smiles a little bit

y/n: god it feels so good to finally tell you guys

y/n wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed so i take her home. when we get there we find out that her mom had already gone out of town for an emergency work thing. as much as i wanted to stay, i couldn't.

we didn't tell y/n this but devin, hollis, felix and i wanted to work together to find a way to get rid of taylor for good.

y/n: can you stay? i really don't wanna be alone

mattia: i can't i have to do something important but i'll send someone

y/n: who?

mattia: you'll see

i hug her tightly and whisper

mattia: i'm glad you told me

y/n: me too.

i kiss her on the cheek and get back into my car.

i take a shower to try and get rid of stench that came from my body. when i was done i hear the doorbell downstairs. i open the door

kairi: heyyyyy

y/n: oh you gotta be kidding me

ale: mattia said you needed company sooo

kairi: here we areeeee

i smile a little bit. their positivity was kinda contagious so i invite them in.

y/n: i really just need a nap right now, but make yourselves feel at home

ale: oh okay

kairi: we'll just be downstairs then

i head back upstairs and take my nap.

i drive back to felix's house and they're still in the living room.

hollis: okay so step 1 is to delete that video before we get rid of her.

mattia: and how will we do that ?

we all pause for a second to try and think until devin broke the silence

devin: oh i know! mattia you have to seduce her

mattia: what? oh hell no. hell no devin.

devin: hear me out. okay first you need to invite her to come over and while she's at your house.. hollis, felix and i will go into her hotel room and delete the footage from her laptop. boom

mattia: and why does it have to be me ?

devin: cuz she already slept with you before and she'd wanna do it again

hollis: you're right this can work

mattia: okay but i don't want to sleep with her

devin: felix can call and pretend to be the manager of the hotel and say there's an emergency in her room so she'll leave.

felix: i'm down. do we have her number ?

mattia: i think she put her number in my phone last time we .. slept together.

hollis: okay lets say all of this does work out, what do we do with her after ?

devin: leave that to me.

i wake up from nap a couple hours later and found alejandro and kairi downstairs making food.

ale: hey i hope you don't mind, we made spaghetti for the three of us

y/n: (i chuckle) it's okay i was in the mood for spaghetti anyway.

kairi: how was your nap

y/n: refreshing.

i grab three plates and we all put the amount of spaghetti we want and head to dining table.

the 3 of us just talked and talked and got to know each other really welll

kairi: you know what y/n, you're cool. i like you.

y/n: are you saying you didn't like me before

kairi: yup (he says jokingly)

ale: you guys wanna watch a movie?

y/n: sure

we walked to the couch and i turn on my tv. i sit in the middle while alejandro and kairi sit by my side. we all cuddle together and i'm not gonna lie i felt safe and happy. i can tell this was a beginning of a beautiful friendship.
