we drive to a nearby buffet and meet them inside. about a few minutes later i saw neil and mattia walk in the door and take a seat at our table. when i say hi to mattia i noticed he had hickeys all over his neck even though he was tryna hide it with his hoodie.

i try to hold in my laugh but a little noise escaped

mattia: what's so funny ?

y/n: mattia let's go get food

mattia: uh okay ?

once we were out of sight i drag him to the very back of the buffet

mattia: i'm not fucking you at a buffet. but then again i've actually never sex at a buffet before— it could be interesting

i pull out some make up from my bag

after a couple minutes i finished covering it up and it looked completely normal

i tried my best to talk to mattia the entire time for my mom but he either gave me a snappy remark or just ignored me so i gave up. his dad and i actually get along really well, i just wish he had a different son.

it was around 7pm when i decided to get ready for the party. devin hollis and felix were gonna be here soon so we can all go together in hollis' car. i put on a navy blue two piece and head downstairs

we all get into hollis' car and i look at the address justin sent me and we drive off to the club.

they walk off together leaving me and justin alone.

we sit at the bar and started getting to know each other

and then i see mattia kairi alejandro gina and lexi walk into the club

justin turns around and sees their group

justin: no i didn't maybe some of my other friends did. wait is that mattia polibio?

justin: uh yeah almost everyone knows him. one: cuz he's tik tok famous and two: cuz he's slept with the girls at my school too

justin: have you ever slept with him?

i hesitate to answer because i didn't want justin to see me as just another girl who slept with mattia. but if i wanted a future with justin i cant lie to him

we continue dancing for a bit until my eyes set on the karaoke stage. justin sees me eyeing it

once the song starts, i sing the first part and i look at justin. i can see the love in his eyes when hears me singing. not that he loves me but that he knew right then that i could be someone he can love.

when my part was over justin sang the second part and i was immediately in awe. wow he is GOOD. i turn to devin with the face "are you hearing this" and i see her mouth he's really good and i mouth back i know.

when his part was over, we both sang the chorus and our voices sounded perfect together. i glance around the room to see everyone's reaction and i lay my eyes on mattia who was staring directly at me.

i was watching her sing with justin and a part of me became jealous because they sounded good together— like they belonged together. i don't know why i cared so much, but i did because as much as i hate to admit it, she's the best girl i have ever met. she's humble, funny, brave and she doesn't care about i think— about what anyone thinks. her smile lit up the room every single time and yea.. she's good in bed.

once the song was over justin ran to go say hi to his friends leaving y/n alone for a minute. i walk up to her

mattia: come on please

y/n hesitates but eventually takes my hand. we dance to (whatever song you want) and without thinking i put my hands on her waist and bring her closer to me.

mattia: i'm sorry that was a habit

y/n: it's fine but i should get back to justin. thanks for the dance (she gives me a small smile and walks away)

mattia: lexi get off my ass okay? ( i walk to alejandro and kairi leaving lexi alone on the dance floor)

alejandro: lexi seems happy

ale: why not ? she danced with you— and she hates you.
