"Explain to me again what the girl looks like?" Devilin asks as he jumps off a tree before walking to where the graveyard was.

"No idea just that she has blue hair" Gio states from the phone

"Hmm...anything else I should know about the girl beside her hair?" Devilin asks again

"Not that I know of" Gio responds

"Are you sure it wasn't Jasmine's imaginary friend for fuck's sake that girl still has a teddy with her" Devilin scoffs making Gio laugh loudly

"No she is real; the guy Bull from the Diner she worked at confirmed the girl's existence" Gio informs

"Awesome now what else will we have to find goat, dogs, cats around us? For God sake where does she even meet such people?" Devilin asks as he crouches near a grave before he pulls out a dagger from his back pocket

"Don't be absurd we never complained about your name" Gio chuckles from the other side of the phone

"At least I'm not named after some old man" Devilin counters back as he cuts digs around the grave

"Fuck you" Gio curse at him

"I'm not as desperate as you" Devilin grins back before he narrows his eyes at what he sees

"One question, why didn't anyone came back to investigate further about what happened with this pack?" he asks after a while

"According to the reports they didn't find anything interesting and moreover the Alpha had gone missing" Gio answers not knowing where this was going

"So, they blamed the guy who had gone missing, hmm...How much longer before you arrive here?" he asks ignoring Gio's question

"I'm around the corner, what is it?" Gio demands

"I think I just found out how the Alpha had gone missing. There's a tunnel in here just under one of the grave" Devilin informs back to Gio who curses again

"Don't do anything we will be there in few" Gio orders before cutting the line

"Not planning on it" Devilin murmurs to himself as he goes to investigate more of the graves before sweeping off all the flowers with a click of his fingers

"You owe me a big one Advin" he whispers walking out of the graveyard and towards the buildings

As Devilin waits for Gio to arrive with the team, he wanders inside the building to checking in on the artifacts as well as the rooms.

He comes to find himself inside a room, which turns out to be library. Once again, with a swipe of his fingers he successfully dusts off the room, staring at the rows and rows of books in front.

Touching on the walls as well knocking to see if there are any passageways, Devilin starts his inspection. He feels a sudden buzz as his finger touches one of the shelves of book making him stop and stand.

He touches it again to feel the buzz once more.

"Witchcraft" he hums to himself before pushing the rack with all of his force and like the Domino all, the shelves fall one by one

"What the fuck are you doing?" Gio's shouts from the door making him turn around

"Decorating" he states lazily

"I told you to not do anything" Gio scolds him before stepping in the room but halts

"Guess I should have listened to you" Devilin sighs as he fall for the trap and now is stuck inside with no way out

"What the fuck did you do anyway?" Gio asks trying to find a way inside the invisible barrier

"Did I ever mention I hate witches?" Devilin asks making Gio glare at him

"No one is supposed to know about this thing Dev; I can't just up and call some witch in here" Gio grits through his teeth as he tries to push the barrier with his powers but can't

"Not even the one in council?" Devilin asks hopefully

"Not if you don't want your father to whip our ass" Gio shrugs his shoulder before pulling out his phone

"Understandable. I had left a souvenir for you back at the graveyard" Devilin informs as Gio vigorously type on his cell phone

"I know the boys are on it. Some of them went in to see where it ends up while others are securing the area" Gio explains before putting his phone to his ear.

"We have a problem, Devilin succeeded in getting himself trapped in some witch old trick it seems like always he can't get out of it" Gio informs the person on the other side while he smirks back at Devilin who sneers his way

"Can you hold for few hours?" he asks Devilin

"Like I have a choice" Devilin sighs before getting comfortable sitting above the fallen shelve and pulling a book out

"Devilin?" Gio shouts just as his friend disappears

Touching the barrier Gio watches in horror as it disappears as well.

"Fuck" he curses pushing his hair back before picking up the phone

"We lost him, send those witches fast" he orders before looking around the room for some clue but gets none

"Gio" one of his team people calls

"What is it?" he asks

"That tunnel it ends up a the old garage of the city near here, the no man's land" the man informs making Gio curse again

"Okay, gather everyone set the cameras, we can't sit and wait for something to happen in here all day long...

Report back to my father, I will be staying back here" he explains not wanting to explain the situation Devilin just threw them in

As soon as the guy leaves Gio picks up his phone dialing Devilin's number.

"Dev" Gio calls in relief

"Oh the reception here is good" Devilin answer with a grin

"Where are you?" Gio asks as he gets out of the building

"You won't believe me even if I told you" he teases making Gio growl impatiently

"You have the patience of a saint for your mate but not for me, I'm wounded badly" Devilin chuckles before continuing

"I think I just land myself in the past"

"What?" Gio asks in disbelief

"I told you, you won't believe me but I'm watching our little Jasmine get her hair braided by her mother. Talk to you later buddy" Devilin answers before he cuts the line

With a few choices of curse words, Gio gets out of the building waiting on those witches to arrive.

Devilin smiles, as he cannot believe what he sees, he has a front row view of Jasmine's past. He cannot wait to tell about all of this to Advin he would definitely die of envy.

Walking closer to the room Devilin follows Jasmine as she rushes out of her room with her teddy bear before she ends up in a room where they both can clearly hear the shouts and a resounding slap on her mother's cheek.

"I told you to get rid of them, didn't I?" the man shouts as Jasmine's mother, Jade lies on the ground crying clutching her cheek

"I had nothing to do with it, I haven't let them see anything I promise" she cries looking at the man in front of her which must be Jasmine's father Jasper.

A whimper causes Devilin as well Jasmine's parents to turn to the door just as Jasmine's flees away.

"If they come sniffing around here and if my plans are ruined because of you then I will personally see the demise of your little girl Jade, solve this problem immediately" the man shouts pushing her away from him

Devlin feels a shudder as the man just past right though him and doesn't notice him, he walks in the room and watches over Jade who gets up just as the man leaves and rush to the library.

She closes the door just as Devilin enters not that it would have stopped him from getting in; he watches her frantically searching for something on the shelves before she finds something and clutches it in her hands before she once again leave the room.

Devilin follows her to Jasmine's room, where the poor girl has already fallen asleep. He gulps as he watches the tender moment between the mother and daughter as Jade brushes her child's hair away and lightly kisses her forehead.

Whispering something in her ear before she pulls the teddy Jasmine is clutching and tears it head open before putting something inside it before sealing the head.

The scenery changes and Devilin finds himself standing in a different location a garden this time and it seems the beautiful garden that was filled with nothing but Jasmine once is right now a grave yard.

He watches a sleepy Jasmine calling out for her mother who silently stands among the flowers

"Mommy, why are we not in the bed" Jasmine asks as she wraps herself in her mother's arms

"Sweetie, lets play a game" Jade smiles brushing her daughter's hair lightly

"I don't want too" Jasmine protests

"But mommy wants to, just for few hours okay, good girl now I want you to go and hide in that cottage away from the pack house and do not come out till I come for you...

Do you still remember what mommy said about hiding?" she asks Jasmine who nods excitedly

"Yes, always hide where the Jasmine blooms" she grins proudly

"Good girl, now go before you get caught and remember do not come back till I come to get you" Jade speaks sternly to her daughter who nods hesitantly not knowing why her mother wants to play at this time of the night.

"Okay mommy, but don't be late, bye" Jasmine smiles waving as she clutches her teddy to her but Jade pulls her back and hugs her tightly.

"Mommy always loves you no matter what, always remember that" Jade whispers kissing Jasmine everywhere on her face

"I love you too mommy" Jasmine giggles before running off to hide

"I'm sorry sweetie, but I can't risk your life" Jade whispers as she watches her daughter run off and praying that her daughter will be safe.

Confused Devilin watches the interaction debating whether to follow the little girl or the mother, but knowing that Jasmine will survive he follows Jade.

Once again, they end up in the library where Jade chants something on the exact shelve Devilin touched before sealing the spell in it.

"You know I hate when you sneak around" a voice calls startling both of them

"I wasn't sneaking" Jade smiles as she walks towards the man

"Oh really Jade then why do I sense a spell in this room, you know I hate when you spell" he smiles tightly at her

"You know I won't go against you, I was just practicing a spell that's it" Jade explains as she takes a seat

"But why the need of suddenly practicing those spells when time and again I warned you not to?" Jasper goes to stand in front of her before he painfully clutches her hair in his hands

"You are hurting me" Jade gasps holding his hand trying to loosen his hands but he just pulls her hair hard

"Where's Jasmine?" he asks making Jade's eyes go wide

"She is asleep" Jade answers

"Really, well why don't we go and wake up her after all the girl must have missed playing with her father don't you think?" Jasper grins

"Please, let her be" Jade begs as she starts to cry

"You see Jade I hate when you lie and start to get smart then again I haven't seen your little bundle for quiet sometimes, let's go" Jasper pulls her with him

"No, please I will do anything just don't hurt her. She doesn't know, please spare her let her sleep" Jade begs again trying to stop Jasper but the man just keeps taking purposeful steps towards Jasmine's room

"Thomas, don't do this please" Jade shouts at once halting the man in his step

Jade gasps as she realizes what a grave mistake she made as Thomas turns around slowly glaring at her and before she knows it he smacks her hard.

"How many times have I warned you to not call my real name Jade?" Thomas snarls

"I'm sorry I didn't meant to" she whimpers backing away

And both Devilin as well Jade watches in horror as the man in the disguise of Jasper turns out to be Thomas.

Devilin curses and strides in full rage wanting to blast the bastard, he goes to punch the man but he catches nothing but air as he realizes that he can't touch the guy.

Cursing, he shouts at his helplessness as he can't help but watch the guy he has come to despise more than anything in his entire life.

"Let's go" Thomas grits out dragging Jade to the living room

Thomas throws Jade on the floor before taking a seat; he rubs his jaw before grinning at her way.

"Jade, how fun will it be if your pack sees the real man hiding behind the mask of their Alpha?" he asks much to her horror and not waiting for her answer he claps his hands

A handful of mandrakes steps out of the walls much to their surprise and Jade cannot help but cry begging Thomas to stop the madness.

With a sickening feeling, Devilin stares at the mandrakes in front of him. Knowing too well what will happen next and he cannot stop it even is he wants to try.

"Meet my boys Jade, these aren't the same as the originals nor do they hold the same powers but I love them better than their originals you know why?

Because the originals could just throw venoms and attack but these new ones they love to drink blood and play with their prey, just like me" Thomas grins evilly making Devlin watch the mandrakes carefully

As he carefully watches them, he finds that they seem a bit different from the ones he saw pictures of, these mandrakes don't have head of any kind of animals just a body full of scales as well as they seem more humans then the one he has heard or seen images of.

"Aria promised me so much once she got hold of Oliver's powers but it all went down the drain, she died on me but good thing she left behind a whole lot of army of mandrakes in my command, which were made from her blood...

If we waited on Oliver to make mandrakes then we would have been empty handed as, it disappeared as soon as the man died and since then I have been running away from my kind...

Nevertheless, your mate's body was a perfect disguise, he was a good man but poor man I had no choice but to kill him...

If it wasn't for Adrian I would have been ruling this world not running and hiding away, but I'm glad as I took my revenge on him and the guy won't even know what hit him till I'm done with him....

Hmm, his daughter that red haired beauty was really feisty one; I had a lot of fun with her" Thomas winks at Jade as he laughs loudly making Jade as well Devilin sick on that thought

Devilin growls trying to control his emotions, as he cannot do anything but listen and watch, he vows he will kill the person when he gets his hands on Thomas.

How could he forget the night that changed everything, how he cruelly, he killed Adrian's and Scarlet's third born daughter as well as took Ariel's innocence?

He will make sure that Thomas will suffer when he gets his hands on him! His train of murderous thoughts stops as he once again hears Thomas chilling voice.

"How about I play a bit with little Jasmine as well just like I did with Ariel, I bet she will be fun...

One hell of a beauty isn't she?" Thomas laughs again

However, this time instead of crying or cowering against him Jade stands up in full fury.

"Don't you dare touch my daughter Thomas?" she warns glaring at him

"Oh, I'm scared Jade what can you do anyway?" Thomas challenges her

"You will pay for everything Thomas, mark my words. Maybe a little visit from Adrian will teach you a lesson?" she snarls at him

Thomas stands from his seat in rage as she stalks her way in anger.

"What have you done bitch?" he shouts in rage at her

"What I should have done years ago" she answers back before without a warning Jade shift into her wolf form and howls

Thomas curses as he goes to stop the woman but it is too late as the room is filling with the pack guards who watch the scene in confusion.

They all shift trying to protect their Alpha but they are outnumbered by the mandrakes who jumps to kill every one of them.

Thomas in his rage cannot help but order them to finish every one of the pack members before Adrian comes and finds him behind all of this.

Jade makes a jump to attack Thomas but he is too strong and much to fast for her as he slits her neck in mid air.

Jade wolf's whimpers as she lies on the ground and shifts back to her human self.

"You think you can out run me bitch, your little girl and this pack will suffer my wrath for your betrayal...

You think I'm scared of Adrian, then you have no idea what I'm capable of, that man hasn't seen the last of me" Thomas spats as he kicks her head hard and just like that Jade takes her last breathe

"Clear the whole place and someone bring the girl to me" Thomas shouts in rage as he goes to take his seat as he hears the howls and scream of the men and women of the pack dying.

Devilin watches, the blood lust around him in disgust and praying for everything to end up soon so he can go back to his time and hunt the bastard down.

However, the night was not finished yet as all of their head turns at the doorway where little Jasmine is standing watching the death of her family wide eyed before the chase begins.

While the mandrakes chase her Thomas steps on the bodies of the pack members and walk to the library searching for something.

He curses, as he does not find what he is searching for; he clutches his hair tightly cursing Jade. He makes a turn to where her body lies before he stiffens sensing someone in the land.

"Dammit, Adrian" he curses loudly before signaling all of his mandrakes to back off from the land

They all rush out of the house and open the tunnel, which they built to disappear. Devilin takes a step to follow them but he cannot breathe. He kneels down on the ground heaving heavily before the darkness takes control of his body.
