Next morning Jasmine finds herself listening to Advin as he talks with his parents on his phone. Lex has gone to run some errands and she has been sitting there for past fifteen minutes after she had talked to Adrian and Scar who wants her back home this instance.

Advin shuts the phone, as he is glad finally, it is over, after he told them where he found Jasmine his mother had been scolding and threatening him to get her back as soon as they can. He too does not want anything other than to be back on his own territory where he can protect her more properly.

He goes to sit next to Jasmine and immediately she gets on in his lap. Even if she does not say it, he knows she is still spooked from last night. She plays with his shirt button as he plays with her hair sitting in a peaceful silence.

He had send Lex to grab her things and he even called her workplace telling them she would not be coming back.

He can never forget the moment he found her. He was scared shitless when he saw her so terrified and at the same time relieved for finding her in time.

"Jasmine, do you trust me baby?" he asks as he caresses her hair while she nods without looking at him knowing too well, where he is going at with all of this.

"Then, will you tell me what happened last night?" he asks

She stays quiet for a while as she opens a few buttons of his shirt and makes circles on his chest. While Advin tries hard not to get side tracked with what she is doing and waits patiently as she takes her time to form the words and think how to start it.

"Mommy was braiding my hair while I was playing with Mr. Brown. She said I should never leave my hair out; a Lady should always be presentable no matter what the situation is...

Daddy, he had gone away for a business trip that's what she said but I had seen them fight and I knew he won't be coming back because that's what they were fighting about!" she stays quiet once again while Advin patiently gives her as much time as she needs to collect her thoughts

"I never liked when they fought which they did a lot for the past few weeks, he was constantly angry at everyone and mommy said not to go in front of him until he asks...

Then few nights before the incident I was playing with Mr. brown when I heard him shout. I was happy he was back so I ran to the room only to find that he had slapped her. She was crying when he blamed her for ruining his plans and that he will make her pay" suddenly she holds his hand and clutches it near her chest, sacred.

"I always thought it was daddy but he wasn't" she stops. Advin waits for her to continue but even after few minutes, when she does not he holds her chin up so he can see her face. "Who was he?" he asks and she takes a deep breathe closing her eyes.

As she opens her eyes, she whispers the word

"Monsters" and Advin holds his breathe as he hears it.

"Daddy never came back. He was not the one who killed everyone. To tell you the truth he was long gone even before when they started to visit...

That is why; she did not allow me to see him, that is why he never called me or came to play with me. It was never him, it was them. They were slowly mixing up with us" She explains as she had a far away look.

"Jasmine" Advin calls worried when he sees her stay so still.

"Did you know my mommy she loved gardening just like your mother? She planted Jasmine everywhere on the pack grounds. No one ever caught me during our hide and seeks game because of that, so when they followed me that night they couldn't catch me" she states.

"They come with a smile on their faces but don't trust because they have masks everywhere. They lure with the melody of heaven and when they finish with you, you will wish you had taken the choice of being in hell. They hide in the dark lurking in the corner but do not let your guard down in search of light. Because when the moon rises, it can be brighter than the sun. The chase will end when it's in full power and before you know it the game is over!" she finishes the poem with a shudder as she reminisce the words her mom would sing to her every night.

"What's does that mean?" Advin asks confused at what she is trying to point out.

"Mommy used to tell me this every night before I went to bed. I never learned this one until today" she nibbles on her lips as she once again plays with the button of his shirt.

"When mommy didn't come for me at the ranch I went back to the pack house. They were everywhere; they killed every single one of my pack members. They were dancing with the blood on their body...

I was terrified, so I screamed and they heard me. I ran with Mr. Brown and hid just as mommy taught me. She always asked me to hide where there are Jasmine's so I did. They did not find me and then they all disappeared as the wolves howled. I was so scared I ran but I tripped and that's when your father found me" she explains the event of the night she lost her family

Advin holds her tight as she finishes her tale but she was not done.

"But now they are back. I was getting groceries when they cornered me. They were smiling and laughing at me" she shivers in his hold.

"They will never touch you, I vow to protect you till my very last breath," he swears as he rubs her back trying to calm her down.

"What do they look like?" he asks her as she calms a bit, he needs to know about them. If they can wipe out a whole pack then god knows what they are capable of doing.

Summers pack was the second strongest pack in their world and if someone was capable of whipping them out he needs to know about it.

All these years their kind thought the Alpha of the pack was the killer but after this information he cannot compromise with the safety of his mate and pack may be even their kind.

"Blue" Jasmine shouts at once startling him as she gets off him

"What?" Advin asks confused

"Oh my god, how could I forget about her? We need to go back to my pack. I...she...Blue we forgot about her...

She was with me as I was searching for her, she had screamed and then he showed up and then I met you..." Jasmine starts to pace back and forth babbling on nervously before Advin interrupts her

"Whoa, okay breath, relax...in and out that's it, just like that" Advin stops her pacing and holds her shoulder so she can relax and explain everything to him from the beginning.

After taking a deep calming breath explains everything how she came to meet Blue and how they planned to visit her pack house together before Advin found her as well as that, she totally forgot about Blue till now.

"Okay let's wait for Lex to come back and then we will decide what to do" Advin tries to calm her but she doesn't listen

"We need to go right now, Advin we can't just leave her like that. She may be hurt or..." Jasmine protests

"Jasmine, I'm not letting you go anywhere near your pack ground knowing how dangerous it is in there and I will find Blue so relax" Advin reassures interrupting her

"But..." Jasmine starts only to shut down as Advin growls at her

"End of Discussion, Jasmine" he warns making her quiet

"How are you doing Jas?" Lex asks cheerfully as he enters the room with holding her things in a bag

"Upset at this time" Jasmine grumbles before taking her bags

"What did you do again?" Lex asks amused at the pair

"Why is it always my fault and I think I loved the docile and quiet Jasmine better than this...this fiery one?" Advin complains making Lex laugh

"She isn't that bad" he grins making Advin glare back at him

"It seems last night we totally forgot about her friend and if my speculation is correct, it was her scream we heard and she wants to go back in their to save her" Advin fills him in

"Whoa, really I hope she is alive" Lex wishes before pulling the cup of coffee out of the bag which was provided for them from the diner Jasmine had worked at.

"Ya I hope so else Jasmine won't ever forgive me. Damn who knew it was so hard to have a mate...

Let me make a call to Gio may be he can come help us, we can't go in there without any back up" Advin states rubbing his jaw and just as he pulls out his phone it starts to ring

"Gio" Advin calls as he picks it

"Did you find her?" Gio asks tensed

"Yes, last night, why what's up?" Advin asks curiously knowing that Gio did not just call to ask about her

"We just got a new task to seal the area around summer's pack and some movements were seen inside there for last few days...

It's a direct order for all of us; we are to go check on the grounds immediately. Devilin is already at the place doing his inspection, I will be going in there as soon as I get word from Devilin...

So, I just called to warn you about it" Gio informs him seriously

"Damn, okay I need your help there is this girl named Blue trapped in there she was along with Jasmine but we couldn't find her not that we tried but still she may be trapped in there I need..." Ad starts only to stop

"No way, Advin I'm not even supposed to inform about you or anyone but I just wanted to make sure you all were safe as well far away from there...

The council wants no one to know about this mission and who ever is found in that place except the chosen one is asked to take immediate actions on them so it will be better if you stay out of it" Gio warns him

"You know I can't Jasmine is..."

"I don't care what your mate feels Advin but you are staying away from that place and it's a direct order. If anyone even knows that your mate was in that place last night you know what will happen...

That's why Devilin asked to go alone to make sure no traces of her is found in there, she will be in lots of shit if anyone finds out!" Gio snaps halting his words

"What's going on?" Advin demands knowing something fishy is on going

"I'm not supposed to say anything" Gio sighs stressed

"Gio, you know I have ways to find the truth so" Advin waits

"Fine, it seems the mandrakes have been awakened, we don't know how or who did it but movements were seen inside of the pack grounds and we are to immediately inspect it before the words get out" Gio groans frustrated

"Fuck, how come?" Advin asks not believing it, as he knew that his parents were the guardian of those mandrakes before someone capable stepped in and, as they know none of his siblings has that much power

"Did you check the twins?" Advin asks worried

"They are normal and no it's not Ariel as well, any changes on you?" Gio asks suspiciously

"No, I don't feel anything. Did you contact dad?" he asks after thought

"They are in a meeting as we speak, anyway you are to stay out of that place and hurry back to your own pack...

You guys are more vulnerable at that place as it's a no man's land, lots of humans which is why we need to get the situation under control" Gio informs Advin before hanging up

"Lex, change in plan we are heading home right now, something came up" Advin orders before Lex leaves to prepare their car

"We aren't going to search for Blue?" Jasmine asks as she sees Advin pack his bag in a hurry along with Lex

"No, something came up so we will have to go back home" Advin informs her

"No, I'm not leaving without Blue" Jasmine stands her ground making Advin growl at her way

"Listen Jasmine, we need to go back home immediately and I have asked some of my friends to look for Blue which they are right now, so please, don't argue on this matter" Advin states as politely as he can

"Is everything alright?" Jasmine asks worried seeing him so tensed

"Everything is fine, just something came up and we need to go back home so can we discuss on this matter later?" he promises as he carries their bags out of their room

"Blue will be alright, right?" she asks worried

"She will be, Devilin is right now inspecting the land and he is a damn good at doing his task, he will inform us if he found her okay, so relax" Advin kisses her forehead in assurance before locking the door and moving out of the hotel.

Advin stares at his sleeping mate as he brushes her hair away, she had exhausted herself after everything and he was glad that she was asleep instead of worrying about her friend. He kisses her forehead as he remembers what she had gone through. His mate had suffered so much, but still here, she is his brave little mate. He feels proud as he looks at her and vows to protect her no matter what it takes!

His train of thoughts stops as Lex clears his throat. One look at Lex's face lets him know something was wrong.

"What is it?" he asks

"I wanted to tell you everything as soon as I came but" Lex nods towards sleeping Jasmine before speaking.

"She is asleep, we can use our bond" he suggest before glancing at his mate.

"It's a good thing we found her when we did, I don't even want to imagine what awaits her in her tiny apartment" Lex states as they use they bond to communicate so Jasmine doesn't hear a thing.

Hearing it Advin sits alert pulling Jasmine a bit closer to his chest.

"There was blood splatter everywhere in her room. Someone shred her things in to pieces. The fucking bastard who ever did it, he painted her walls with the words. Found you!

Good thing, I grabbed her things that were in better condition so we don't have to make another trip to that room for her to witness it" Lex explains.

Advin growls as he hears it, someone was in his mate's house touching her things. He breathes harshly as he tries to control himself. Right this instant he so wishes he could shift and hint those bastards that dare try to touch her things.

"Calm yourself, damn Advin. Being worked up will not help our situation right now" Lex voices his concern

"They were in her room, they touched her things. They tried to harm her. How the fuck can you say for me to calm down when I want them all dead!" he snaps back in rage.

"But they didn't harm her; they couldn't touch her because she was with you! And if you don't control yourself you will wake her up and you can definitely do the honor of explaining everything to her" Lex points towards his sleeping mate.

Advin takes some deep breathe looking out of the car trying to calm himself before he looks towards Lex.

"I'm sorry" he apologizes as he squeezes Lex shoulder who just chuckles.

"It's okay, if Lily was in her place, I would have gone dip shit crazy too" he states understanding Advin's situation as well as his feeling regarding Jasmine.

"Lex, I need a favor from you. A big one" Advin confesses as their eyes clashes in the mirror of the car

"What is it?" Lex asks having a bit clue on what it was

"If anything happens to me, can you make sure that she is safe and happy? I know dad will definitely do the job but..."

"Hey, nothing is going to happen to you, you are going to mate with her and have tons of kids...

I want the tradition alive you know, my dad is your dad's beta and likewise I will be yours and I want my kid to be your kid's too and for that to happen you will have to stick around...

We will find a way and drag that stubborn wolf of yours out and make sure he stays alive because I cannot do this alone Ad, I won't be able to take good care of Jasmine as I know you can...

Moreover, Jasmine will never forgive you if you leave her again, hang in there buddy we have handled so many things together and we will get over this one as well" Lex assures him trying to be as supportive as he can

"Thank you. Anyway, we need to get back if they were this close, I'm sure it won't take them much time to find us" Advin says hoping Jasmine didn't wake up sensing his discomfort

"Who are they?" Lex asks confused, he was unaware about things as they have not exactly sat and discuss anything

Therefore, just like that their trip ends with Advin explaining to him what he learned from Jasmine.
