"How many more days are we going to spend in here?" Lex asks tiredly as he lies on the bed

"This is our last stop, I'm sure if we haven't found her in the last three towns she probably is in this one" Advin replies, as he too lies on the bed exhausted

"Man, how really hard is it for anyone to find a girl! I just want to get back to my mate" Lex complains as he truly wishes to find Jasmine soon

Advin smiles at his friend sadly as because of him Lex too had to suffer, he really wish he could let his friend go back but he cannot as he is not shape to do anything.

It seems his condition was going from bad to worst within days, he cannot feel his wolf and now it seems he had lost all his sense of hearing, smelling and seeing things.

Along with his wolf gone his sense are now jeopardize, he is as good as a human and all because of his stubbornness and stupidity.

"Let's make a last round once tomorrow before we leave. This is a no man's territory so we can't just shift and follow her scent around as human resides her in more number than wolves" Advin suggests as he can feel his friend's frustration as he was recently mated and the urge to be with his mate is much more stronger than when they met

"Hey, we won't be leaving before we find her and anyway if it was Lily in Jasmine's place I'm sure you would stick with me...

Anyway, with your condition I do not think I can leave you here alone bro. So, just ignore my whining for my mate once a while please" Lex smiles patting Advin's back showing his support

Advin just smiles back at Lex before closing his eyes for the night wishing they found her soon.

The next morning both of them get out of the motel, they were staying in search of Jasmine or anyone who has seen her. Searching her for hours around the area, they finally stop to have some breakfast before they die from starvation.

Ordering a heavy breakfast both of them just stay silent in their own thoughts while the waiter brings back their order and without a word, they start to eat.

As Advin goes to make the payment he finds a kid crying asking his mother to buy him a cookie as the mother scold that the cookie is bad for his teeth.

Shaking his head with a smile Advin nods towards Lex to move out but halts as he remembers something, getting back inside the diner Advin buys some cookie for their way.

He smiles staring at the cookie in his hand, as it was the same shape as he had eaten plenty of times back in the pack house, sighing he goes to take a bite and freezes.

"Ad, let's hurry man" Lex shouts but he can't move a muscle as the taste of the cookie melts in his mouth

The cookie reminds him of the same taste he had every time he had a cookie, so her turns back to the diner and calls the woman behind the counter.

"Excuse me; can you help me out by telling who made these cookies?" Advin asks hurriedly as hope blooms in his chest

"Oh ya one of our staff made it" the lady smiles

"Is her name Jasmine Summers?" Advin asks and the woman nods curious as how he knew her

"Is she in here, can I see her" Advin asks desperately as he feels choked up not believing their luck of finding her at last

"Sorry, she is on a leave for few days so you can't see her right now" the woman replies before going back to her work but Advin stops her

"Can I know where she is now?" he asks only for the woman look at him with narrowed eyes

"Listen here mister, just because you are a good looking fellow doesn't mean I will start to give you personal whereabouts on my staff, if you are so desperate to meet her then you need to come some other time when she is around" she informs sternly before going on for her duties

Advin curses not knowing where she has gone to he can turn the whole city upside down to get her but it would definitely have been helpful if he got any information on where she is right now.

Anyway, the good thing was she is in this city and now he will have to get to her by any means, as well as beg on his knees if he has to, to take her back home.

"What is taking you so long?" Lex asks as Advin finally arrives to where their car was

"Jasmine, she works in the diner when I asked if I can see her the lady informed she was on a leave for few days" Advin sighs sadly

"What, that's awesome...so what are we waiting on let's go and ask about her whereabouts" Lex jumps out of the car in excitement as they can now find Jasmine and finish with this wild goose hunt

"She won't say give me any information o where she went or live" Advin states before longing looking at the diner

"What? Seriously man, when did you stop doing what you want just because someone said not to?" Lex asks throwing his hands up in the air in frustration as he was hoping they would grab Jasmine and be gone back to the pack

"The lady won't state it Lex" Advin groans as much as frustrated as Lex

"Well then we will approach her once again and try to gain info, come on I'm not going to sit on my ass whole day waiting for her to show up when we can go to her" Lex grumbles as he drags Advin once again in the diner

"Hey man" Lex shouts at the huge man cutting some vegetables who looks back at him with raised brow

"Listen dude, we need some information on the girl who works in here. Her name is Jasmine ad we have been searching for her for quiet a while so can you help us out?" Lex asks directly making Bull stop chopping the vegetables and glare at the men in front

"What's your business with Jas?" he asks gruffly folding his arms on his chest and staring at them intimidated

"Okay here's the deal, she ran away from her home and we are here to take her back" Lex smiles hoping the man just help them

"Then I'm the one who painted the Mona Lisa" Bull snickers before getting back to his duties

"Listen old man, we really need to know where she is if she is safe or..." Lex stops as Advin squeezes his shoulder and stands in front of Lex looking at the guy

"My name's Advin's Martin" Advin introduces himself but the guy in front him ignores him completely

"Do you believe in werewolves?" Advin asks once again and this time he gets a glimpse of hope as the person in front of him stops just for a second what he is doing as he hears it

"I will take that as yes and does that also means you believe in mates because I'm Jasmine's mate" Advin finishes making Bull throw his knife on the table

"She has gone to her old pack with some girl with hair as well name Blue" Bull replies

"Thank you..." Advin smiles waiting on the man's name

"Bull. Just do not hurt her again. I don't know what happened between you two but when she came in here she seemed sad" Bill replies

"I can't promise that she will be happy all the times with me but what I can vow is that no matter what we will both share it together whether it's happiness or sadness...

I won't leave her alone anymore" Advin promises, before he once again thank Bull and leave the diner with a new hope.

"What the hell was that about?" Lex asks as soon as they are out of the diner

"Don't even ask, I just took a leap of faith on the guy" Advin informs with a grin as he feels like someone just lifted a heavy weight from his shoulders.

"I wonder why Jasmine all of sudden wanted to go to her old pack and if I didn't heard wrong didn't that guy said about some girl going with Jasmine?" Lex word wipes the grin off Advin's face.

"I will call dad" Advin voices as they both get in the car and drive in search of Jasmine

Calling his father Advin gets the details he needs about Jasmine's pack grounds and what to expect or what not.

Next, he calls Gio to help him get as much Intel on the summer pack's history as well to check on the progress on the investigation on going on Jasmine's father.

"Wrong timing Ad, we all are stuck in here right now" Gio informs sounding irritated

"What does that means?" Advin asks curious on as to what will stop him to get any info he needed after all the headquarters were under direct command of his father and future father-in-law.

"The person who handles every device in the faculty is on some stupid vacation which they have no clue on about and till he isn't back none of us can move or take any step which means the task I and Devilin was supposed to handle was also postponed...

Whoever this person is, he is the only one who can get a hand on the system we all were using and without him; it seems we all are doomed...

You should be here to see most of the people in here running like chicken without its head, moreover we are doing everything like back in old days use our senses. It's kind of fucked up but I will collect what ever you need as soon as we the system is back in use" Gio fills in making Advin chuckle

"Well I guess I'm glad I left when I did, best of luck bro" Advin laughs as he cuts the line

"What's so funny?" Lex asks curiously, as he keeps looking back and forth between road and Ad

"The new tech guy is on vacation and the system are fucked up" Advin answers as they sets the GPS for summer's pack

"I didn't knew they had anyone new" Lex states trying to remember if there was anyone new handling those system

"Me neither, it's like we all report back to that guy or have to meet him up in person" Advin shrugs his shoulder not interested much on the topic

"True, it was kind of weird to get orders from someone we never got to meet" Lex nods before they both fall silent.

"This is it. This place looks like a shit hole" Lex grimaces as he gets out of the car and stretches before looking around

"Hey it's been ages and I won't be so shocked if no one even remember about this pack and I'm sure decorating it was the last thing on anyone's mind" Advin points out before they both inspect the area before entering it

"What was your mate thinking about coming in this place without any protection?" Lex asks as he finishes doing the survey

They both enter the land as soon as they are sure no one was following them or any danger lurking around. Walking inside the forest, they stay as alert as they can while Lex tries to scent Jasmine.

"For fuck's sake this place reeks so foul" Lex complains as he goes to close his nose so the smell don't effect his senses but still the smell gets to him

"Glad I don't have such a heightened sense then" Advin teases laughing at his friend's expense

"Ssh..." Lex holds Advin back and both of them silently listen for the sound

"What is it?" Advin whisper asks

"I thought I heard someone's footsteps" Advin explains before they both start walking

"I can't smell a thing because of this nasty odor" Lex complains once again as they move deeper in the woods

"Tell me about it; let's just find Jasmine as soon as we can before it gets dark" Advin sighs as they keep moving.

After searching for Jasmine, they still get no clue on her and looking at the sky, they curse as the sun starts to set off and darkness arises.

"I never knew summer's pack was this big of a place" Lex points out making Ad nod

"Ya it would have been better if we knew where we were going may be then it would have been easier I just feel we are just walking round and round" Advin answers as they make their way back but stops

"Hey what's that?" Lex calls out as he runs towards the back of a house

"What the fuck?" Both of them asks at once seeing the graveyard

"Who the hell built all of this?" Lex asks

"I don't know about that but I can tell who put those flowers in their grave" Advin points out

"Damn, we were so close to her, guess we are in right path then" Lex grins before they both run out of the forest to catch Jasmine.

"I think there is another entrance to this place" Advin voices as they get out of the forest just as darkness falls

"How" Lex asks confused looking around to see any other way

"We didn't see any car or anything when we got inside and even now no sign that anyone got out...

Damn why I didn't have been more careful" Advin curses as he once again walks inside the forest

"Relax there man, you aren't the wolf man now" Lex teases his friend before following him back in

"Even if I don't have any senses left I can still use my brains and experience, the path we used, it was as if no one had used it in ages which means that if Jasmine was in there she used another way to get in" Advin explains Lex who holds him back

"So, what are the chances that she is there may be she already left. We should just get back; I don't have very good feeling about this place once the dark befalls" Lex states as he looks around the forest and not hearing anything

"Not even a living being or any sort of animal or insect's sound; I know and that is what eating me too" Advin voices the same thing Lex was thinking

As soon as the words are out of his mouth, Lex lets his wolf come forth and strengthen his sight as well senses.

Following Lex they take a step but stop on their track when they hear someone's scream and before they know they are running off to the direction.

"There" Lex points out before they run to the direction

"It wasn't Jasmine's scream right?" Lex asks worried for her and Advin nods stiffly

"No, but whoever it was we need to get to her fast" Advin grits out

As soon as they reach the place where they thought the scream came, from they stop to check around but they find nothing.

"No any trace of anyone being in here or any smell" Lex points out before they decide to part their ways and search for Jasmine as well the person who screamed

"Be careful" Lex warns as he leaves the spot

Advin takes careful steps as he search in his surrounding being extra careful, as he does not have Lex to save his back.

He hides behind a tree when he hears someone running in his way. Pulling the gun he had from the under his shirt Advin awaits.

Just as the person goes to pass him to holds his gun on the person's head turning the person around only to end up wrapping his arms around the person.

"Jasmine" he breathes out in relief.
