"Yo" Devilin kicks Advin's body that is lying on the ground lightly

Advin wakes up with a groan to find himself on the ground. He looks around for the source of his rude awakening to come face to face with Devilin and his smirking.

He holds the hand Devilin offers as gets up to his legs and catches the clothes Devilin threw his way. Without a word, he starts to dress up ignoring the dull thud in his head.

"What are you doing here?" Advin asks as he pulls his pants on

"Same goes for you, mate's issues?" Devilin questions instead putting a cigar to his lips before Advin pulls it out of his mouth and starts to smoke it himself.

"Something like that" he grumbles as he sits beside Devilin

They both sit in silence enjoying the peace while both of them are busy lost in their own thoughts.

"I messed everything up" Advin finally confesses to his friend as Devilin just keeps quiet hearing the man out

"I...I...damn she left me. I cannot believe I placed my hands on her; it was not even her fault...

I was so enraged seeing her like that with someone else, I mean she is mine and she should be spending her time with me not hide away from me...

I know I wanted to avoid her but fuck if I was thinking straight! This is so frustrating to me, I always thought I did the right thing and look where we ended up?

All my life I thought choosing my pack before her was the right thing to do but now that she is gone, nothing matters anymore...

This pack, the Alpha's title nor my life... nothing has any meaning without her. I fucking messed up and I have no clue where to start amending things from...

All I want is for her to come back home, to me...I swear I will make everything right for her, for us" Advin keeps talking as he paces back and forth while pulling his hair in frustration.

"Then what are you waiting for? Go and bring her back" Devilin finally speaks after hearing his friend's frustration

"What?" Advin stops staring at Devilin baffled

"If you want her back you need to pursue her back, I mean that's what you want don't you?

Anyway, why the fuck care about the pack if they will not be side by side with their Alpha and his mate, besides if you will not step in, I'm sure one of your brother's will be more than capable to run this pack.

Moreover, your father is a damn good Alpha, I am sure he can handle the post for a few decades just fine...

Seeing how much of a good leader you are I am sure you can create your own pack if you want I do not see what the big deal is about...

You are just beating yourself up for nothing; this entire mating its not so complicated as you all make it. She is your mate, you are hers and that's all that matters I guess" Devilin suggests before getting up and walking towards the pack house

"You coming?" he asks turning around to look at Advin who nods in silence before they both walk inside.

Walking back in the house Advin ignores everyone's stares making his way straight inside his room for a much-needed shower before facing everyone.

After talking with Devilin, he feels much better who knew the person could give advice on mates.

Now all that left is for him to make everything right, he will beg on his knees if he has to, but he will get her back no matter what!

If this is what it feels like when your mate leaves you, then he does not even want to think how his mate had felt every time he had turned his back on her.

Every moment when he turned his back on her, she must have gone through so much heartache and all because of his own selfish reasons!

He curses himself for giving her so much pain, when she deserves nothing more than happiness! She has gone through so much in her life but not even once has she complained about anything.

She never came to him accusing him or she never went to his father for anything and what did he do in return for it?

She was right he did toss her like a piece trash!

After getting his head and motives clear Advin seeks for his parents in his father's office, as that is where they are most of the times.

As soon as he enters the room, he walks up to, his mother and kisses both of her cheeks.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you mom. I love you!" he whispers his apology knowing he had cross his line and hurt her even if it wasn't anyone's fault but his own

Scar kisses his forehead forgiving him already for his behavior, as she can never be upset or mad with anyone and definitely not for a long moment. She holds his hands and checks it grateful that it was already healing.

He heads to his father's side before they both hug each other tightly.

"I'm sorry dad, I haven't been in the best shape these past few days" he apologizes.

"What? Just sorry, no, I love you" Adrian teases his son before patting him on his shoulder

"Sorry dad no matter how much you want to, its still incest and I don't swing that way" Advin winks at his father and they both laugh at that.

"Okay let's hear you out son, we have been waiting for quiet a while" Adrian states before taking a seat beside his mate.

"First and foremost, I once again apologize for my behavior and second I did wrong to Jasmine, she didn't deserve it after everything...

The reason why I left and never tried to come back was her, I was so stupid to deny the pull for so long" he sighs as he rubs his face a bit nervous to his parent's reaction as he continues

"I got scared, when I found out the first night you brought her here, I tried to push her away but couldn't. I was so scared about what people would think about me, that I never realized how she must have felt...

Now I want to make it right, I know it is late but I will try my best to get her back no matter what. I do not want to tell anyone about us before I admit it to her first. I don't want to take that away from her after everything" he finally confesses before looking at his parents who are grinning at him like fools which he doesn't like at all.

"Um guys?" he asks them and they both laugh aloud. He looks at his parents sure they have already lost it.

"First son you are an A class jerk for taking so long to admit it and second we knew you guys were mates" Adrian admits happily about the confession from his son.

"What?" Advin shouts in disbelief looking from his mother to father.

"Well, if you forgot, let me remind you that I'm your Alpha. The moment you realized she was yours that day, you were so surprised that you forgot to close your link to me and I knew" he explains feeling extremely proud about it.

"And you still let me treat her like that!" he shouts bewildered that for this long his father let him behave like that

Advin looks at his parents in plain disbelief not believing this was even happening to him. All his life he has been dreading how he will explain his situation to them when in reality there was no situation at all.

Suddenly he feels really dumb and tired, he had stressed about it for nothing.

"We wanted you to come to us when you were in trouble or doubt, but you never did. Well at first we did try to push you two together, why do you think your mother and I was so adamant that you protect her from all the bullies and why we never took any actions regarding what happens in the school with her?

Because we had full trust on you to save your mate when the time comes but then it seemed we were wrong on our assumption instead of getting closer you two were trying hard not to cross each other path...

I could understand Jasmine's behavior but never yours. There were times I wanted to give you a one on one talk about how to treat her but I did not, wish I had. Things would have turned differently if I did...

We just thought you were just too young but when you decided to leave, we knew you wanted some time apart; I never took you as a man to run away from your problems...

However, I think it is my fault that I never got a chance to sit and talk with any of my children, to never turn their back on their own and never run away from their fears. I really am not a good example after all and now look where you all end up?

"We are sorry for not helping you out son but we were bound by the laws. Now go get her, I want her in this house before anything happens to her" Scar finally speaks as she stands with her son rubbing his cheek lightly.

"It's ok Mom, I understand. Thank you, for having faith in me to make the right decision and not pushing me on all this...

Maybe the outcome would have been different if you guys interfered but still I'm grateful you guys didn't try to force me on this one thing" he says as he hugs them both, relieved.

"Now I need to go find Amery and explain everything to her" he informs them thinking about the girl he was supposed to be mating right now.

"I'm sure she won't hold any grudge or blame you for it. She seems like a lovely girl" Scar states as she let him walk out of the door.

"You do know whatever happened between you and Aria wasn't your fault right? She chose to give up on both of you" Scar voices calmly as she turns to look at her husband

"I know, but let's not be bias. I was not much of an attentive mate at that time and left her all alone, she was bound to leave me and I was a fool for not seeing it sooner...

Moreover, before you argue on it, whatever Aria did it was wrong and I do not regret having you in my life because you are the best thing that happened to me, but honey, we both know I was a jerk before you opened my heart" he grins cheekily making her roll her eyes

"I'm sure our son has enough sense to not let her go. Let the fate play its role when it comes to them, we have let them to solve it for all their life them stretch that trust a bit much before we have to step in and I really hope we don't have to interfere" caressing her cheeks he tries to assure her fears along with his own

"Okay, if you say so" she smiles holding his hands on her cheek

"I don't know how you do that but I'm grateful for having you" sighing Adrian kisses her brow

"Do what?" confusion laces on her words a she stares back

"Always seeing the positive on things and never complaining on anything. I'm still amazed how you took the news of each one of our children leaving their home" he wonders staring at her with all the love he has reserved just for her

"Ho...it's easy, I spend so many years of my life being sheltered that I don't want our kids for the same...

I want them to do what they want and how they want, if staying away is what their heart desires who am I to stop them? All I need to know is whatever they are doing is making them happy...

"Have I told you how much I love you?" he teases and she shakes her head no before she narrows her eyes realizing something

"I guess I should rehearse an apology to Jasmine for making her upset when I showed her my jewelry collection" Scar sighs pouting at her mate who grins back at her again

"Yes you definitely should but before that I need to punish you for being so bad and naughty" Ad wiggles his brow before launching at her.

With a new hope in his heart Advin walks out of his father's office, now that he has his parent's support all he has to do is get his mate back but before that he needs to make sure that no one else in the pack is against the idea of Jasmine being their future Madam Alpha.

With determination, he takes a large step but stops as everything spins around him. He tries to hold on to the walls for some support but fails and lands on the ground with a thud.

"Advin" Ariel calls out as she finds her brother lying on the ground and goes to help him.

"Ariel" Advin calls out for help, as he cannot seem to get up all by himself

"Advin, what happened are you alright?" she asks worried as she helps him to get on his feet

"I think lack of food is making me a bit" he tries to assure her with a smile as he puts his arm around her

"You are going to mate soon Advin and you should be more careful about your health" she scolds him as she carries him with her somewhere they can sit

"Um, about that I'm not mating with Amery today" Advin sighs, he should just collect all of his friends and family and explain to them the situation instead of talking with them individually

"What does that mean?" Ariel asks confused, as she was sure they were all here for the ceremony

"Let us wait for everyone before I explain everything" Advin informs her and she nods

"You aren't in any trouble right?" she asks worried and he shakes his head no before smiling at her in assurance

"Enough about me, how have you been? Wait, you are wondering alone in the hallway, can I be hopeful you are getting better?" Advin grins making Ariel roll her eyes as she helps her brother lie on the couch before she goes to fetch some juice for him

"I'm not as fragile as you all think" she defends herself as she hands her the glass

"True, she is much more fragile than that" Devilin states as he stands in front of them and raise a brow at his friend

"Not again" Ariel groans making both of them laugh

"What happened?" Devilin asks looking at Advin who sighs

"I found him collapsed in the hallway" Ariel answers him on Advin's behalf

"You all right" Devilin asks checking his friend overall

"Yes, yes. I didn't eat anything from last night so may be that's why" Advin answers to ease their worry

"Well, I will go ask someone to prepare something for you then" Ariel informs him but he stops her

"I'm fine for now, why don't you go where you were heading when you found me?" he states softly towards her and she looks at him in suspicion

"Don't worry I will make sure he eats something" Devilin informs her and she nods before leaving them

"Giovanni is here as well" Devilin informs as soon as she leaves

"Hmm" Advin nods as he gets up from the couch

"She seems much better than last time" Advin points out watching his sister walk out of the room

"Yes, she is. She doesn't need me most of the time to look after her" Devilin answers as they turn start to walk out to feed Advin

"Now that I'm back you do know that they will be calling for you right?" Advin adds after thought as they both make their way out of the house

"I already got the call, I need to report soon that's why I wanted to talk with you but it seems you have loads on your own plate" Devilin informs as he follows Advin towards the forest once again

"Is it about Ariel?" Advin worries knowing well that his sister will be affected the most if he left for a while

"Kind of" Devilin kicks the pebbles as they come to a stop near the stream

"Don't worry about her she isn't just your responsibility" Advin states as he pats his back

"That's not what I meant, some of the times she tends to be difficult to deal with even for me...

I just don't want her to feel that I abandoned her" Devilin sighs as he pulls his shirt off as does Advin for a swim

"She won't so relax and if you ask me it's a good thing that you are going to be away for a while...

She is getting to attached to you, more than she should be..." Advin abruptly stops

"I have no bad intentions regarding her" Devilin growls in warning as he senses the track of Advin's thoughts going south

"Chill Dev, I know you are the last person to hurt my sis and I didn't mean any harm. I know your feelings regarding her are not like that, what I meant is Ariel is so dependent on you for everything I'm scared she won't be able to function on her own...
