"Piglet" Enzo shouts from the living room all the while checking up on his time

"I'm coming, I'm coming" Erika shouts as she waltz from the stairs and takes a high jump from there making Enzo rush to catch her

"Well done" Erika grins patting his hair as soon as she lands perfectly in his arms

"Seriously Piglet, you aren't five anymore to do such things" Enzo scolds her but she ignore him and walks around

"Piglet we are already late can we just leave now?" he asks as she enters the kitchen making him follow her

Erika does not listen to him as she opens the cabinet in the kitchen and starts counting.

"What are you doing?" he asks her trying to look at what she is doing

Fuming, Erika barges out of the kitchen and towards the Antonio's main house, she walks straight where the evil brothers are sitting before she holds both of the boys ears hard while kicking the other two's nuts.

"Fuck" the boys fall on their knees holding their nuts

"Ow, ow, tigress" Archer, Finn's elder son winces and tries to get her hands off of her while Sean's twin sons stay on he floor

"Bastards whose idea was it?" Erika asks before she kicks Archer and Aldrich's nuts and goes to pinch Alec and Ace's ears.

"We didn't know" they all cry in unison while Erika knocks them one by one on their thick head

"Haven't I warned you time and again that none of you are to step in my kitchen especially if my cabinets are filled with chocolates?" she shouts before kicking, good thing she was their aunt and they can't hit her back

"You need to cool down" one of the boys offers her a glass of water trying not to be beaten by her but she just throws the water on herself.

"There, did it now WHAT?" she yells as the waters falls off her head.

"Piglet, what the hell is going on?" Enzo asks tired of seeing her fight with the boys all day

"Uncle Enzo, help" Archer begs as he tries to move away but stops as Erika glares at them

"Payback is a bitch, now" she grins holding out her palm and the boys grudgingly empty all their wallets

"Tiger are you bullying our kids and robbing their money?" Finn asks as he enters the room with his twin

"It's not me but them, they were just ganging up on me so I had to save myself, and I only acted in self defense" she states blaming the boys

"First they aren't monsters, and no one was ganging up on you, those poor angels were just sitting there munching on their chocolates" Enzo rolls his eyes at her antics

"Exactly my point, they were munching the chocolates made for me" she defends before continuing when Enzo just raises his brow

"Giovanni specially brought that for me, how can they eat my chocolates, why mine? Why not someone else and let's be fair they are four against me who is all alone how is it not ganging up?" she asks folding her arms and tapping her leg

"She does this on purpose announces she has her kitchen filled with food and when we have some she beats us" Ace complains seeing as he has his uncle's support before he goes to hide behind his father's back

"Don't cry pee makers" Erika grins as she starts to count the money it's just so easy to fool them, every damn time.

"God tiger stop calling us that" Alec groans as he checks on his nuts to find it still attached.

"Ya because if you call us that one more time we will start calling you aunt" Aldrich threatens her

"You won't dare" Erika gasps in horror as she despises when anyone calls her aunt

"Then we want our money back" the boys grins

"You will rob me?" Erika asks pouting

"Oh jeez cut it out Aunt Tigress you look horrible" the boys all cover their eyes and groan

"Assholes" Erika grumbles before returning their money

"You will have to clean my garden for eating my food" she warns them

"No actually you will be the one doing the clean up actually" Finn states sternly after she settles down

"Why would I?" Erika gasps dramatically

"I still haven't forgotten the last time incident" he announces looking directly in her eyes

"It was just a small gathering" she says softly while the boys look at her incredulously.

"Small as in 500 people in our house, half of them walking around naked while other half were having sex on the lawn and using our furniture to make a bonfire which by the way literally burned the whole neighborhood! You aren't a kid anymore nor are you a college student" he snaps shutting any protests from her

"It's been two years for crying out loud and anyway I'm leaving; I don't want to be around any of you Antonio's males right now. All you do is, make me miserable" she snaps back getting up but stops as she looks around to check on something.

"Where's my sleeping beauty?" she asks eyes narrowed searching her daughter

The boys shrug as they put their money back in their wallets and focusing on what she was on about as they know if they don't focus on here they are as good as dead.

"Isn't it your turn to check on her this time?" Aldrich asks the other twins who shakes their head no

"We did it last week it, this week it's your turn" Alec points out before all of them curse and rush out of the room

"If anything happens to her you fuckers are good as dead" Erika shouts at the boys before she walks to raid on the twins kitchen.

"You are really one of a kind; you were taking money from them?" Enzo asks in disbelief

"Hey they are rich and it's not like they are spending it on their mates so I will have it till they have someone to spend it on. Fair game and shouldn't you be worried about your daughter more she hasn't been home yet" she asks as she passes a bottle of beer to Sean and Finn

"No, Gio called he found her asleep in the library" Enzo sighs rubbing his temple

"Poor baby, good thing she has a wonderful mate" she walks past him and drops on the couch

"Piglet, we need to move now if we want to reach Adrian's pack before sunset" he states shaking his head as she flips on the television

"I'm sure you want to check on your daughter before we leave" she sighs

"Gio will bring her directly to Adrian's" he informs watching her intently

"Ah figures" Erika mumbles before walking out of the house waving at the boys

"Call the twins back please, they will just rip the whole building apart searching for her" Enzo pats on his brother's arms as he asks them before leaving.

"Will you at least behave?" Enzo asks as he stops the car engine in front of Adrian's house

"What...if you have to know I'm always well behaved" Erika informs before walking out of the car

"Piglet, I'm serious" Enzo stops her

"I know, I know" Erika waves her hands around?"

"Enzo" Gio calls as soon as he sees them and asks them to follow him

"I see she is alive" Erika comments as they enter the room where their daughter Engel is asleep

"How many hours has it been?" Enzo asks ignoring Erika's comment

"More than six hours adding the drive here" he informs before taking off his jacket

"Thank you" Enzo nods before Gio and Erika leaves the room

Enzo pulls out the syringe from his brief case before putting it in his daughter's arm and wait for her to wake up.

"Daddy, where am I?" Engel asks as soon as she opens her eyes and looks around

"We are at Adrian's pack. You do remember we talked about it last night right?" Enzo smiles at her

"Uh-huh, did Gio bring me here?" she asks as she remembers the last time she was awake she was reading a book in the library

"Yes, he is outside along with your mother want me to call them in?" he asks softly

"No, I don't feel like seeing him" she states and Enzo nods before leaving her alone

"Can I see her?" Gio asks eagerly as soon as Enzo gets out of the room

"She doesn't wants to see anyone right now" Enzo informs sadly

"See, told you" Erika snickers before walking past both of them making Enzo curse

"Can I at least stay here?" Gio asks when Enzo looks at his mate's retreating back

"Hold in there buddy, I'm sure she will come around" Enzo pats his back showing his support

"I don't know she only lets me get near her when she is asleep, nothing else" Gio shrugs before slumping on the floor tired emotionally.

"She gets her stubbornness from her mother but I know she will come around soon Gio, hold in there a bit longer...

You know it's hard on her as well" Enzo squeezes Gio's shoulder before leaving to search for his mate

"Piglet" Enzo calls as he finds her in Scarlet's garden

"What?" Erika turns towards him annoyed

"What the hell is your problem?" he asks her tired of her mood swings

"You want to know my problem well it's your daughter, she is so mean and heartless who doesn't care of anyone's feeling but herself" she shouts back in anger

"The fuck is your daughter, because she is fucked up and she fucking everyone's life along with hers"

"She is making everyone's life miserable and it's all her fault. You spend half of your time looking after her and Gio waits on his toes so she can order him around like a puppy while my son is away trying to find the cure for her sickness...

Nothing has been the same after the birth of their daughter who for some unknown reason cannot help when she falls asleep. It may be in the middle of her class, breakfast or even while she is swimming.

Because of that Enzo and Erika has drifted apart, she hates when he leaves her side to be with their daughter and she hates it even more when their daughter is not grateful for anything they do.

Even poor Gio has been victim of her mood swings as well as attitude. She does not know what to do with their life as she is always in the wrong or cross with her own daughter

No matter what she does, they always end up fighting and nothing seems to work between them no matter what!

"You have to go and be a bitch to dad" Engel's voice stops the train of her thoughts

"Oops sorry, I forgot only you have the right for that title" Erika snaps back at her

"I don't know what your problem is but can you just cut slack to dad?" Engel stares at her mother

"We all know you are my problem" Erika informs making Engel glare at her

"Don't blame me for your weakness or faults, if you have used even a bit of your brain years ago then I wouldn't have to suffer like this...

I have no control of things that happens in my life and I'm sick and tired of this" Engel spats at her mother in disdain

You make Enzo worry about you on purpose, you know you can sit in the house and take online classes, but still you fight us joining the college, and I do not even know why you want a degree when it is of no use...

You make not just us but Gio suffer by ignoring and pretending that he is not around" Erika points out irritated from their conversation

As for making him suffer I have made myself clear time and again that I don't want him around and which part of him doesn't understand it I have no clue...

I'm sick and tired to him being everywhere I turn, it's like he has no self identity or work that he always follows me around like a lost puppy" Engel says as she is too irritated having this conversation over and over again.

Engel just shakes her head before leaving the spot and moving back to her room.

"Engel" Gio's voice stops her on her tracks

"How are you feeling?" he asks worried about her

"Fine" Engel replies before entering her room and shutting it so she does not have to see anyone tonight.

"If you need anything I'm right here" Gio announces from the other side of the door halting Engel

"Go away Gio" she calls out breaking his heart all over again

"I can't Engel, try as I might I just can't" Gio whispers as he stands in front of the door

"What's wrong Engel talk to me baby please? What went wrong between us?" Gio asks pleadingly

When Engel keeps, quiet Gio sighs heavily before doing as she wishes and leaves her.

"Nothing went wrong Gio, everything was wrong from the start" Engel sighs heavily as well closing her eyes

She remembers the times where she was a happy girl with a happy family but now it is all nothing but a dream.

It all started when she was six years old and no one knew why she collapsed at once. She was happily playing with Gio and her brothers when it happened. Her dad tried to do everything he can to save her but she knew she couldn't be saved and now even her brother Eric was far away studying for his medical degree and busying himself to find out the cure for her.

It was never like this between her mother and her, they loved each other very much and played house. She always used to tease about how Gio is her prince and they will live happily ever after.

She used to believe in all that stuff before but not now, not when she knows the truth. She was not a bitter girl before but quiet opposite, she loved spending her time with Gio and she knows he will do everything in his power to protect her.

He loves her more than his life itself and that is what she dreads. She was eleven when she heard her father talk with the doctor about her condition.

No one could figure out any type of treatment for her, it was just some blood of someone, which was keeping her awake. If she did not get that injection on time, she will never wake up ever again.

That was the day, she realized how cruel the world was and she started to put her distance from everyone, even Gio.

At first, he did not get any of the hints why she was avoiding or not playing with him thinking it was a phase.

When all she wanted was to stay away from him to guard her as well as his heart as she knows that one day she will never wake up from her deep slumber and Gio will get heart broken and that is something she does not want.

She wants to him to stay away from her and find someone who will love him unconditionally without the fear of loosing her and left with a broken heart.

While her mother is a different story, every time she misbehaved with Gio her mother was mad and day by day, it created some strain on their relationship.

Now that her father is hell bent to find a cure or solution, he is not there for her mother and it pains to see both her parents drifting apart slowly. It hurts to hear her mother cry in her bed when her father has no time to spare on her and it is all has been her fault.

However, she will not admit it to anyone, as she wants them to hate her so much that when she leaves them they will not regret it and get hurt remembering her.

Try as she might the men in her life are stubborn while her mother has kept her distance from her, the men have not. Her father no matter what she does never gets mad and tries to cheer her up, while Eric promises to cure me even if that's the last thing he does and Gio he just can't help but wait for her.

How she wished she could rush into his arms, share her fears, and hold him to her. How she wish to kiss those delectable lips of his and how she wishes to confess him how much she loves him and cannot bear a second she stays away from him.

However, she has to if she does not want them to get hurt when she leaves.
