"Jasmine, Jasmine!" Scar calls out as she enters the kitchen with a bright smile on her face.

Jasmine stops her work and looks at her Madam Alpha who cannot stop smiling.

"There you are" Scar speaks out of breath

"Okay, why are you searching me for?" Jasmine asks amused as she molds the flour.

"The guest rooms aren't ready yet and we need it prepared before the guests arrive here early tomorrow morning. The lights on the top floor are not done yet and the flush in right wing is not working" she talks a mile a minute and Jasmine has to stop what she is doing to stop Scar

"Relax now, I'll go and see to it all. You just take a deep breath and take a break you will faint before the guests even arrives. I have already told Warren everything to be done, he'll be sending someone to check on it" she explains as she hands a glass of juice to Scar.

"What would I do without you?" smiles Scar as she takes from Jasmine's hand

"You would have done just fine without me" replies Jasmine going back to her work

"True" she smiles before putting the glass down

"Ho...I totally forget to tell you Advin is coming back home isn't that some amazing news" Scar beams as she thinks about her son.

Jasmine turns her back to Scar as she hears her talk about him silently getting back to her work.

"I wonder how he has turned out. It has already been nine years; the last time I saw him, and can you believe it, he has not once returned back home. I tell you when he is back I'm not going to talk to him at all" she states suddenly sad and angry with her son.

"Oh! Sure, sure, I would love nothing more than see you not talking to him. Because we all know, you will be the one rushing into his arms as soon as he puts his feet on our land!" Adrian teases his mate as he enters the kitchen and puts his arms around her and winks at Jasmine.

Jasmine smiles seeing both of them still so much in love before, once again focusing back on her work, making some cookies.

"I'm his mother Rain. I will want to see him everyday not once a blue moon and anyway you were the one who sent him on those horrible missions! You should be ashamed of yourself!" she blames as well scolds him while he laughs as he hears his mate

"Yes, I admit I sent him but it was his decision to not come back home, honey. I never said he would have to stay away and anyway we all know sooner or later he will have to take my place and for that to happen he has to make himself worthy of it!" he says as he sits on the bench pulling his mate onto his lap.

"Whatever you say!" she murmurs.

"So kiddo, everything ready for tonight or shall I say tomorrow?" he asks Jasmine and she nods with her back to them.

"I will go check once more after I finish making these cookies" She replies to them.

"I heard there will be kids too this time" she adds making Scar grin

"Yes and some unmated males too!" Scar giggles while Adrian growls at that specific information.

"They better stay away from you" he warns making Scar laugh at the absurdity

"Oh you, I'm talking about Jasmine, not me! Anyways, I'm too old for their taste" she hits his arm lightly as she laughs.

"Okay then Jasmine, stay away from all unmated wolves cabin!" he orders and she salutes at him nodding in agreement.

"And you my lady who says you are too old? Let me make you feel young" he says as he picks up a giggling Scar before walking out of the kitchen to their room.

Just as they leave, Warren enters the kitchen shaking his head as he sees both his Alphas.

"They still have a go at this age, I'm envious!" he groans making Jasmine laugh.

"Why are you not in school yet?" he asks as he sees her putting cookies in the oven.

"I just have some work left to do for the arrival of the guests so I thought to skip school today" she replies as she washes her hands.

"Well that's not happening I will go check on it, you go to your school it's your senior year and not many days left for you to graduate so go have some fun kid" he orders her sternly

"Thank you" Jasmine smiles kissing his cheek before picking her bag up from the table to leave.

Jasmine reaches her school just as the bell goes off; entering the class, she takes the last seat as always. As the teacher rants about the subject, she does not care about she looks out of the window deep in her thoughts.

Nine years, it has been nine years, the last time she saw him. Actually, eight years, fifty-one weeks, five days, seven hours and seven hundred ad fifty seconds not that she has been counting.

No, she has not been waiting for him to come back; no way was she expecting him to miss her. Nope she was not still wearing his shirt while she falls asleep at night.

Uh-Uh, she does not think of him at all. She was not wishing for him to save her when someone bullies her sometimes. Not at all was she hoping that he would acknowledge her and most of all she definitely did not want to hear him call her his mate!

She smiles sadly, as she thinks about it all, because it seems more and more stupid every single day. Nevertheless, God, does not it hurt like hell?

She gets startle when she hears the bell go off and looks around to find everyone making their way out. Collecting her bags, she too makes her way out before entering her next class to find Lily waving at her excitedly.

She smiles as she sits next to Lily the only girl in the entire school who sees Jasmine as a normal girl not some murderer's daughter.

Lily is a nice soul she never sees any bad in others. She is always happy and merry.

"Hey! I thought you weren't going to come, seeing all the chaos Madam Alpha was making?" she chuckles remembering all the movements on going in the pack house for the past few days.

"Well Warren felt bad for me so he is handling everything for now." Jasmine replies.

"Oh that's so nice of him! So are you excited to meet the boys and all those unmated males? I just hope I get my mate this year. I'm so fed up with being a virgin!" she cries making people look at her weirdly.

"I can totally take that virginity of yours, if you want" one of the boys in the class snickers her way.

Sending a death glare, she gets up from her seat and walks up to him. Uh-oh never makes Lily angry!

"You better watch your back buddy, because when I find my mate I'm going to make him hunt you down for this particular comment...

In addition, I so wish that your mate she is so hot and sexy that you find it so damn hard to keep other's paws off her...

As well till you warn them off you are so tired that all you can think is of lying in the bed, that you don't even have any energy left for the sex!" she shouts the last part making all of us laugh but the guy looks as white as a ghost.

She then smiles sweetly before returning to her seat while Jasmine just shakes her head looking at her only friend before she speaks.

"Remind me to never piss you off!" she says to her friend who just winks at her.

Jasmine takes a seat at the bench near the tree at the break; she takes out her lunch as she eats it looking around the school ground to find some mates snuggling or some making out.

She smiles as she sees it, the downfall of being in an all werewolf school, you will feel sad every time you turn around because the school is full of mated couples or newly mated ones who show their affection for each other boldly.

If only her mate could be this bold, she smiles as she shakes away that thought. She still remembers the day he left the pack ground without a backward glace to it.

Madam Alpha was clutching his shirt as she shed tears on him, knowing it may be the last time she saw him.

After the day, the twins announced they wanted to leave the pack and go to some wolf's paradise things had turned gloomy in the Alpha's house. They tried to spend as much time as they could together; still no one was prepared or ready to say their goodbyes to anyone.

"Ma stop being so dramatic, I'll return back don't worry it's just for few months" Advin tries to soothe his sobbing mother.

He looks at his father pleading Adrian with his eyes to help him out so finally Adrian has mercy on him pulling his mate away from their son's chest.

"Honey if you won't let him go then how he will come back?" he tries.

"But... but" she hiccups and start crying once again. Advin hugs both his parents before saying his final goodbye.

Lex honks as his goodbye before both of them drive off. Jasmine was standing on her toes to see them drive away from her window and wave her little hands as she watches the car move away from the house until it disappeared completely.

Madam Alpha waited for him to come back but the months he promised turned into years and slowly the hope of him coming back faded away even from Jasmine's too. She knew he was not coming back soon and somehow she was one of the many reasons he never came back all this time.

Now he is back finally, oh how she wished he would be back and shout out to everyone how much she meant to him. However, the bittersweet truth, her fate with him has been already set the day he rejected her unknowingly in front of all his pack when Kevin called him out.

Jasmine gets startled as something wet touches her hand, she looks at her hand to see a water drop then she looks at the sky but it is so clear. Then she realizes it is her tears, she smiles as she wipes her tears away.

"You really don't have any right, the sooner you realize it the better Jasmine Summers" she scolds herself as she walks inside the school carrying her bag for her remaining classes.
