Jasmine wakes up screaming as the nightmare haunts her. She looks around the room and rubs her eyes not knowing where she is. Getting up from the bed with Mr. Brown in tow, she opens the door to get out.

"Hello there!" she gets startle when she hears someone's voice.

Looking up at the man smiling at her she asks where she is. The man just smiles before pushing her lightly inside of the room and closes the door leaving Jasmine there even more confused.

After a while, the door to the room opens as a woman walks inside walking towards her.

"Hello" the woman smiles

"Hello" she replies with a smile as well

"Aren't you cute" the woman says before hugging Jasmine startling her

"Thank you" Jasmine giggles shyly

"Awe, okay let's go I have some really yummy food for you" holding Jasmine's hand the woman drags the girl behind her excitedly.

"Where are we going?" she asks shyly and a little confused as to what's going on, as the woman drags her to where she is taking Jasmine.

"We are going to eat some breakfast and then meet my husband"

As they reach a door, she knocks before entering, Jasmine looks around the room before her eyes lands on a man behind the desk, same man who saved her last night.

"Hello, little one!" he greets as he gets up with a warm smile

"Good morning!" she nods at him as a greeting

"Your mother taught you well huh?" he smiles in amusement.

Jasmine smiles before her smile fades as she remembers her mother. Seeing her sad face all of a sudden, Ad feels bad.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!" he apologizes at once.

She nods giving him a small smile as she remembers to ask him where she is.

Picking her up he goes to put her on the couch to make her feel comfortable before their breakfast arrives or they start any conversation.

"First, I would like to introduce myself. I am the Alpha Adrian Martin and this beautiful woman is my mate, Scarlet Martin. That's my beta Warren Damon" he points at the guy standing near the door.

"It's nice to meet you all! I'm Jasmine Summers and I'm 6 years old daughter of Alpha Jasper and Jade Summers" she states proudly as she bows respectfully.

They all watch her in awe, as for some one who is so young she really knows how to act around people who is in higher status than she is. Not that Adrian cares about his status but it surely makes him and his wolf happy so see such display of respect nonetheless from a girl so young. Clearing his throat, he tries to compose himself.

"I must say, I'm impressed! But then again, you can never expect anything less from the daughter of Jade Summers, always a Lady!" he smiles at the girl in front of him, letting her know she did good.

Jasmine beams as she hears her mother name, she did not think he would know her mother.

"You know my mother?" she asks excitedly and he nods in return

"We were good friends before she was mated to your father and then we just somewhat lost contact both being busy with our own life and pack" he explains.

"Oh" Jasmine says quietly, a little disheartened.

"Jasmine, I know it's too early but it's better done now when your memory is fresh than later. Can you tell me what exactly happened last night?" Adrian asks getting serious

Nibbling on her lips, she looks around the room nervously before speaking.

"I was playing with Mr. Brown in my room when mommy came and told me we have to play hide and seek. I did not want to but she made me anyway, she said I need to run to the garden then to hide beside the rock and if I hear any wolf howl, I need to run to the ranch house and not come out until she came for me...

But Mommy didn't came it was getting dark then I saw this smoke so I ran to the pack house, that's when I heard wolf howl again so I and Mr. brown ran but one wolf got me. Mommy said not to get caught and hide" She finishes shivering not wanting to remember the night.

"Who's Mr. Brown?" Adrian asks confused as he had found her alone in the woods.

Jasmine smiles before pointing at her teddy for them all to realize she was talking about her toy.

"Sweetie did your mother tell you anything else or did you see any changes in your father when you were there?" Adrian asks softly as he sits next to Jasmine.

Jasmine once again looks at him nervously not knowing whether should she speak on these matters or trust them on it.

"Jasmine, I know we never met and we are total strangers to you...but all I can say is please trust us...

We want to help you as much as we can and telling us about your pack will help. Not just you but us too, so we can catch the real culprit, whatever happened yesterday didn't just affect you but all of us...

So, please don't hesitate or be scared of us and try to remember anything you can which will help us to bring justice to your pack" Adrian holds her hands and looks straight in her eyes to let her know she can trust him and she does as she nods.

Even if the man sitting next to her is a total stranger to Jasmine for some strange reason she wants to trust him, he not only saved her last night but also gave her a place to stay.

She had never felt this comfortable even with her own father, well not for quiet some times. Moreover, as the man stares at her with so warm eyes she cannot help but want to take a chance and trust him.

"Daddy was shouting at mommy and then he slapped her. He was so angry for last few weeks. He did not even play with me...

Mommy said not to go in front of daddy until he asks for me. But he never called me so I went to surprise him in his study when I heard them shout" she says with a little sadness in her voice as she tries to concentrate on remembering what they were fighting about.

While she does that all of others in room looks at her silently giving her time to explain what she can, knowing too well that it must be hard for her. However, she amazed them at how strong she is being and Adrian is afraid whether the bravery is due the trauma or if she is good at hiding her emotions just like her mother was.

One can never know what was going on with Jade Summers and seems like her daughter inherited that quality from her mother or may be she just really is strong.

"Yes, he said she blew his plans and how she ruined everything. Mommy was screaming at him too and then he hit her. I was so scared I ran from there" she says as she wipes her tears away remembering that terrible night she saw them fight.

"Hey, ssh it's okay baby...I'm sure it wasn't that bad" Scar walks up to the girl and takes her in her arms.

Adrian nods at his mate thanking her for the support and care she is giving the little girl who lost everything in just a few hours.

"Jasmine, I can't imagine how hard this must be for you but I promise you that one day we will find who did this to your family...

And until then I would be honored if you stayed here and let us take care of you" Adrian asks the girl nods as she does not know who and where she can turn to for support.

"Thank you, now let's get something to eat" Scar states then also asks her mate and Warren to join them.

"Jasmine, if you remember anything, can you tell me, Warren or Scar about it?" Ad adds before they start their breakfast.

After their quiet breakfast, Scar takes the girl with her to clean her up and show her around the house.

"It doesn't make sense, if she doesn't know then how are we going to find out what happened?" Warren asks his Alpha as soon as the girl is out of the room with Scar.

"I don't know. When Jade called me to come to their pack as an emergency, I never knew I would be seeing that kind of chaos...

She knew something was going to happen so she had to hide her child. What I do not understand is why Jasper would kill Jade and then his whole pack. This is so fucked up" Ad says getting frustrated with the whole situation.

"But how can we be so sure that Jasper was the one who killed them all, we have no proof except some hunches and guesses"

"I know it is a big accusation, but all of the things we know just points back to Jasper. We all heard about his unstable nature for the past few months and then we have all of the pack member's body except his...

Even jasmine admitted that he abused jade not only that her own mother warned her to not go near Jasper until and unless he called. Still, I hope it's not him who killed the pack and if not him then who did it?"

Before they could further discuss on the topic there occurs an interruption when there is a knock at the door.

"Alpha, there's a bad news" his beta Albert informs.

Adrian gets up alert before asking what the news was.

"The man he killed himself!"

Adrian groans as he hears it, knowing too well whom. They all sit silently when Warren speaks

"I guess now that the girl's uncle is out of picture, we really are fucked up!"

"This just keeps getting better and better. Now it will be harder to collect any evidence. Jasmine doesn't remember anything and now her uncle killed himself, what the fuck actually happened in that pack that night?" Adrian groans frustrated, their only way to know what happened was Jasmine's uncle and now even he is gone.

"Get Dante on the line, we need to have an emergency council meeting this instant, may be having everyone in here will give us some solution" Adrian orders.

He can feel some long nights, endless meetings as well a very pissed off council to report to coming in near future, it can be such a pain in the ass sometimes to be an Alpha!

Scar helps to clean up Jasmine before she takes her to show her around the house so the girl does not get lost. After settling Jasmine back in her room, Scar goes in search of her mate as she has been feeling some distress through their bond.

Scar walks into the office he has locked himself in, rubbing his back soothingly she tries to show her support as well tries to make him talk to her.

"What is it?"

"I just got news; Jasmine's uncle is no longer with us. I just finished talking with Dante about it; he has called a meeting this evening with everyone...

But before that I want to talk with the pack about Jasmine, it would be better if I deal with it sooner rather than later" Ad informs her as he has made his mind.

"Is Ariel coming back home anytime soon?" Scar asks trying to get his mind of off the things going on

"Sometimes I feel it's Dante who is keeping her hostage in his house rather than she wanting to be there" Ad groans when he feels Scar massaging his shoulders to relief some of his tension

"When will you let go of the fact that he has no other reasons to keep Ariel in his house"

"Oh come on honey; please don't tell me you believe his talks. We both know he wants our Ariel to mate with his son desperately" Ad complains to his mate but she isn't the one to hear anything about it

"Uh-huh, but we all also know that Devilin and Ariel are nothing more that friends. He loves her but he is not in love with her. If they were mates than I think it would have been way too obvious" she defends those two

"Still, I don't like that guy he isn't good for our princess" Ad argues to her

"No one is good for our princess in your opinion" Scar argues back to him

"True but still, I know Dante and I also know that Devilin will one day surpass his own father" Ad admits the fact challenging his mate to go against him

"And that has to do anything with our daughter, how as well as why?" Scar raises her brow not knowing why he cannot leave the topic alone.

"Ariel is too attached with him; she can't even function properly without him most of the times and that scares me" finally he confesses

"But it's better than loosing her isn't it?" Scar sighs holding him from behind

"I should have been more careful..." Ad starts only to stop when Scar shakes her head

"Ssh, don't think about that night please" Scar begs him

Adrian stays quiet for a while before nodding while Scar hugs him tightly. The only reason she was talking about their daughter was to distract him but guess it was a bad idea as they ended up going back to that dreadful night they had yeas ago.

"Papa...save us" a shout is all the warning they get as their twin son's come barging inside of the room and jump behind Adrian's table hiding under it.

Before they ask what was going on they get their answer as their elder son comes fuming inside the room with red paint all over him.

"Get out" Advin grits out clenching his fist

"Ad what happened?" Scar worries as she steps out of her mate's arms

"Mom, please stay out of this, today those two are dead"

"What did they do again?" Ad asks before pushing his chair bit back and looking under his table

"They messed up the training ground and no one could practice because of their stupidity...

They used permanent glue on all the weapons we use for training and now half of the pack is trying to get it off their hands...

Not only that they found it funny to hit every member present in there with shot guns filled with red paint and that hurts like hell especially when half of us are not wearing any shirts!" Advin shouts in rage making the boys giggle

"Boys, please get out of there" Scar calls them out, as she cannot believe what they just did

"We aren't here mommy" one of them giggles before Ad pulls them out and holds them in his lap

"Oh look, we ended up in Papa's office...we should totally stop sleep walking..."

"No, no may be it's our magic powers growing that is transporting us to places"

"Hmm" Both of the boys try to make excuses before ending up in giggles.

"Sirus and Siran, how many times have I told you not to mess with your big brother?"

"I don't remember mommy" Sirus answers making Scar glare at him strictly

"I'm so not counting, I'm too young to be getting tortured with math and it's not even 10 in the morning" Siran shakes his head

"And mommy we just did say we sleep walked or may be teleported ourselves like uncle Dante does in here...

We don't know what you all are talking about" Sirus pretends to yawn and stretches his arms

"Oh really, then what about your hands how come they are red"

"Oh no, we are having periods" both the both gasps in horror making Ad raise his brow at his mate as if to say told you.

He knew it was a bad idea from the moment Dante said yes to babysit the boys on the few occasions, as well leaving them under his control.

"Did you see that? Dad just ask them to stay away from my stuff and for gods sake do something about them" Advin shouts again irritated that his father is doing nothing but grinning looking at the twins.

"Okay calm down Advin and honey, please help him to clean up, as I have few words with the boys?" Ad smiles

Before Scar could reply, Advin just storms out of the room protesting about how he is the one that is always get treatment as a child and no one hears a thing he says.

"Now you made him even more mad" Scar sighs while shaking her head, before warning the boys to stay away from their big brother before she follows Advin to help him calm down.

"Alright my boys did you or did you not do everything that Advin said right now?" Ad asks both his son in amusement

"Are we getting punished?" Sirus asked

"Depends"

"Okay then we didn't and as we said we don't even know how we ended up in here"

"Sirus, I have noticed your lies are piling more and more these days. Son, I am not just your dad but your Alpha as well...

Just because I love you both that doesn't mean I will overlook all of your faults, now who is going to confess to me?" Ad asks with a stern in his voice making both the boys pout

"You shouldn't take his side Papa"

"Yes you shouldn't, after all we are the one who shares your trait"

"Yap he is a red hair while we are black so you should totally be on our side"

Ad cannot help but laugh as his sons tries to blackmail him emotionally, they aren't eve 5 yet. They are the most troublesome kids in his whole pack.

Each day he gets tons of complaints from his pack members about their incidents, which even if it is a serious matter, it is always funny to hear the tale.

He can't even believe how these two can come up with such ideas like putting itching powder in his beta's boots and pants or sending some poor pack members out of town saying he or Scar ordered them.

"Sons, it doesn't matter if you all have different than hair me and your mother we love you equally...

And do not try to act cute this is your first and last warning if I find any more complaints about you two cheeky monsters than you will be sent to the boot camp we have, earlier then you should be going, clear?" Ad states firmly, while trying to hold the amusement he feels back.

"No, that's so not fair. Look at mommy she always takes Ad's side Papa. You need to be on our side else, what is the use of you being an Alpha...

We are so young you should be protecting us from this harsh world and cherish us Papa" Sirus holds both Adrian's cheeks and explains to him faking teary eyes

"Yes Papa, everyone is just against us so you should be on our side. Papa, everyone is plotting against the more good looking sons of yours so don't punish us, please" Siran adds as soon as his brother is done hugging Adrian tightly

"Boys, I know what you are doing. You people may be just around five but that will not work with me...

Listen and listen carefully no more of your trouble in this pack and behave, and god more good looking? Really Siran" Ad asks full with amusement

"It's true look at these chiseled face bone Papa you can just imagine how many girl's will be ready for giving of services if you know what I mean" Sirus wiggles his brows making Adrian curse

"Do you even know half the things you are talking about?" Ad asks raising his brow at his son who nods with a smirk too familiar with someone

"No actually, Uncle Dante didn't get to explain it because Aunt Jean and then Devilin were scolding him, Papa are we in trouble?" Siran asks wide eyed scared as he is the more emotional one among the twin

"No, but Uncle Dante sure is. Can you guys not listen to his talks from now on for me?" Ad asks the boys, wanting to be sure that bloody Dante will not affect their innocent minds.

"No problem Papa, we don't even know what he talks about half the time. Papa, can you take us to the training grounds to play...

Advin never takes us their and he also told everyone to make sure we won't be around there" the twins pout at once for special effect

"You know if your brother doesn't want you near the grounds it means he wants you back here in the house safe, you both are too young to be around weapons"

"Papa you are no fun"

"How about I let you two spare with me here in the gym after you two clean up?"

"Yes! Now that's what we are talking about!"

"But Papa you are going to loose to us right?" Siran asks wishfully making Ad kiss both his son's forehead lovingly

"Yes, yes I will loose to both of you"

"We love you Papa, you are the best" the twin kiss his cheek back before jumping off his lap

"Love you too and don't crash in to something on the way" Ad shouts back as they rush out of the room,
