"Who do you think it was?" Gio asks as he stands next to Devilin while they watch the new trainees work out.

"I don't know, it can be anyone, may be the new ones were just having fun. Remember how we used to do all of the mischief when we got our admission in here?" Devilin grins as he stares at his friend.

"Yeah, good days man, good days" Gio laughs as he pats Devilin's shoulder and walks to start his session.

Devilin stares ahead as he stares intently at the men working around him, his frown deepens as he plans his next move, he cannot just right out attack them not before he knows their plan or how many of them have already replaced his own men.

However, he knows he will have to think fast before these rogues have a full map of the area and about the system inside to use it against them.

"You okay?" Gio shakes Devilin's shoulder as he had a far away look.

"Yeah what is it?"

"You seemed lost anything you want to talk about?" Gio asks wiping the sweat off his face.

"Yeah, I was thinking about what Thomas's next move would be. Dad has not showed up at home nor can I get to him...

I am worried that he has already got dad and I want to be prepared when Thomas attacks or the fact of how will I differentiate between my own father and him?" Devilin speaks.

"Don't push yourself too much, if he does show up we can handle it together, I got your back" Gio assures him and Devilin nods his head.

"You are next," Gio shouts as he helps the new trainee up from the ground before he pats the man's shoulder and nods towards Devilin.

Devilin nods back before he looks around the grounds to call his opponent, he does not have to pick one when one of the men step out to fight him.

They both nod towards each other in understanding before they jump on to the field to fight but before the man is prepared Devilin attacks snapping his head with a twist.

An eerie silence fills the ground, as the man cannot even gasp before his is dead. The men around stare at the dead body before they look from left to right and then the chaos starts as the rogues growl and goes to attack Devilin for killing one of their members.

Devilin swiftly dodges each of the attacks and waits for the moment for the rogues to shift.

"Are you not going to help?" Devilin grins as smashes the rogues head with each other.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Gio shouts as if coming to his senses having no clue what was on going.

"Just help me erase them" just as he finishes saying that, a siren echoes from within the faculty building.

Gio just growls as he kicks the wolf in the stomach and fights the men who turn into their wolf forms. Before they know it the warriors come out of nowhere and helps Devilin to finish the rogues.

"Will someone explain to me what the fuck is going on?" Gio shouts when everything ends and nothing but a few dead bodies of the new trainees is left.

"Well you just helped me finish the rouges," Devilin simply states as he wipes his bloodied hand on his pants.

"Rogues?"

"Yes, did I say something else?"

"And may I know how the fuck did you know they were rogues?" Gio shouts as he stalks towards Devilin who just throws a punch to Gio's face in return.

"Just like how I found out who brought them in, Thomas?" Devilin growls while the warriors around him make a circle surrounding both Gio and Devilin.

"I see you found me huh?" Gio chuckles as he swipes the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"What made you think I won't?" Devilin challenges him.

"So all this time saying your father was me was all but an act huh?" Thomas chuckles still in Gio's form.

"I just wanted to see what you would do if you thought you were out of my suspicion by the way good job on making us think we found your smell huh?"

"How?"

"Easy, only two people in this whole world do not have any scent, one is my mate and the next one is you...

I guess you missed the emergency meeting about each member who is within the faculty should let their scent be known no matter what their position is...

We may not be able to control the situation outside of the faculty but within it is a different story" Devilin winks playfully his way.

"But she does have a scent now, yours" Thomas snaps.

"I rub myself enough to her that even if I am not at her side she smells like me" he smirks before holding Thomas's hand as he goes to throw a punch.

"Are you still going to fight me as Gio? It just an insult to him" Devilin sighs before he kicks Thomas in the chest.

Thomas growls as he gets up from the ground and frowns a bit while Devilin shakes his head with a smile.

"It's of no use; the only way you can escape from here is when you are dead. There are no portals in this world that you can open today," he informs irritating Thomas even more.

"So it's either me or you huh?" Thomas smirks.

"No," Devilin states serious all of a sudden as he steps away from the circle.

"Where are you going...scared?" Thomas tries to irk him.

"You will find out soon what the real meaning of scared really is," Devilin throws back from over his shoulder.

Thomas does not have a chance to say anything as Connor steps out from the group, which brings another frown on to Thomas's face.

"What are you doing here?" Thomas asks in confusion as to why he was here instead.

"Good thing you remember me" Connor smiles softly getting in his fighting stance.

"You must also remember my little sister who got killed by one of your men's hand brutally," Connor continues as he circles Thomas who narrows his eyes.

"You killed him already" Thomas replies.

"Yes, but not the actual killer" Connor growls as he flicks his fingers together and Thomas falls down on his knees coughing vigorously.

"What is...?"

"How does it feel now?" Connor asks as he slowly makes his way towards Thomas who heaves hard to get a breath.

"Every single pain she went through that day and every little emotion I went through when I saw her lying dead in her own blood...

Every scream that left her mouth and each time she begged, do you feel it too?" Connor asks hunching down to Thomas's level before grabbing a fist full of his hair and jerking his head to face each other.

"Wh..."

"Don't worry it's just a start I will make sure you feel the same emotions for each one of them, that left marks on many of our lives" Connor hisses as he let go of Thomas's head while blood curdling screams leave out of his mouth.

Connor grits through his teeth as he watches the man crumbling down on to the ground clutching his head as he feels the emotions that Connor passed onto him still there is no satisfaction inside of him.

As even if he finally punished the man responsible for the destruction of his happiness he cannot bring back his little sister and he can never see her smile or hear her melodic voice.

"It's time you let go" Crystal intertwines their fingers together as she steps up beside him and touches Connor's cheek lightly.

"That's the thing; I can never let it go no matter what even when he is in that state"

Crystal silently pulls Connor away from the scene in front of them wanting to be away from all of this and wanting to, just soothe her mate.

Even after all these years the regret of not being able to save his sister was fresh within him and it will never fade away, but may be one day, just that one day he may forgive himself for falling in love with her.

"Who is next?" Devon asks startling Raine who jumps a bit in her seat.

"What are you doing here?" Raine accuses as she stands up and tries to cover the screen but she was too tiny for his big frame.

"Relax geeky I just came to say hi" he grins as he pushes her back on her seat.

"What are you doing here?" Devilin speaks as he walks inside Raine's den as well.

"That's what I was asking him a few seconds ago" Raine jumps in to reply as she sees her mate.

"Hey I am a free bird I can come and go anywhere I please" Devon grins as he takes a seat instead.

"I do have scissors we can cut his wings" Raine whispers to her mate who frowns as he looks at her before sighing and turning towards his brother.

"If you are here for your turn"

"Nah, no matter how much I want to kill the bastard for what he did to my mate we have decided to let things go"

"He is not a good mate" Raine comments from the side but both the brothers ignore her.

"Have you decided?" Devilin asks as he stands in front of his brother who gets up and hugs Devilin at once in a tight hug.

"Am I missing something?" Raine asks peeking towards the brothers.

"I will miss you all," Devon sighs stepping away from his brother's hug.

"Is he dying?"

"Yeah and her interruptions as well" Devon chuckles before he takes a deep breath.

"Thank you. There is no one else I would have trusted most about it"

"Hey, you just I was the only one..."

"Raine, for once shut the fuck up" both the twins speak at once and she pouts before she goes to take her seat in front of the computer.

"See you later" Devon smiles as he pats his brother's arm and walks out of the room but not before he ruffles Raine's hair and she yells at him.

"What did I miss?" Raine asks as soon as she is alone with her mate.

"I requested Devon if he wanted to take care of the mandrakes and they said yes"

"Ho?" Raine frowns not understanding what he was talking about.

"Without Drag and Miracle around, there is no one to look after their dimension and it means it is left unprotected as well as the mandrakes are unsafe...

Moreover, Ariel wants to start fresh somewhere with Devon, somewhere they know their future children are safe and away from all this violence...

So, I along with your father we have decided to shift not just the mandrakes but the special kids to that dimensions where they do not have to feel constricted and feel as if they are being judged or misused...

So, from now on we are no longer the protectors of them but Devon and Ariel, it's kind of their safe haven" Devilin explains while Raine sits stunned at what she discovered.

"My heart cannot take this much of your awesomeness, how could you be so great and thoughtful" she whines as her eyes blur with happy tears.

"Awesomeness runs in the blood" he cheekily grins before pulling her in for a hug.

"You truly are the best Devil; I don't even know how to show you how proud I am to have you as my mate"

"Just keep loving me and that is all I ask and need," he whispers wiping the few drops of tears that falls down her cheek.

"When are they going to going?"

"Just as soon as this is all over, we cannot open any portals for the time being"

"What about Dante, we have not seen him"

"Dante is with Reese, she is helping him to lock the portals and search any new portals that has been missed from us"

"So, this is it huh, after all this time"

"I...I captain" Raine closes his mouth with her hand before she kisses a top of her hand.

"Love you right back" Devilin sighs as he kisses her forehead and they stay like that for a while before Devilin's eyes lands on the screen.

"Come on, it's time" he whispers as he turns Raine's head towards the screen to find no one except Thomas lying on the ground.

Raine sighs as she leaves her mate's arms before she walks out of the room to face Thomas, she keeps her mind blank so she does not have to worry about anything but just focus on what was to happen next.

She hesitates for just a second as she finds Thomas still lying on the ground without any movement but she knows he was just waiting for his time to escape one he will never have anymore.

She comes to stand near Thomas before she pulls out a pocketknife and slices her wrist, as soon as a drop of blood hits the ground shadow appears out of nowhere and starts to surround her.

"Greedy bastard" Raine mutters wincing a bit.

"Dead yet?" she asks Thomas next as she kicks his body with her foot.

"Why...came to kill me?" Thomas chuckles before he starts to cough.

"That is pretty much what everyone is expecting from me" she shrugs her shoulder nonchalantly.

"Good thinking huh? Making me think I was off the radar," he asks as he slowly gets up from the ground and Raine steps back.

"Uh-uh not so fast," Thomas growls as he holds her arm, pulling her close to where he is.

"I am not planning on running away from you this time"

"Where is your mate, letting you face me all alone? That little trick of yours will not save you"

"You forgot you are on my territory"

"How did you even know it was me?" he hisses as the black smoke around her starts to wrap itself around him.

"Warren saw you change when you thought you killed him and even if Warren did not see it, it was easy to know whose form you took...

Only two people inside of the HP do not have any scent on them, you and me, the last time Reese was here she had put a spell inside of HP so each person that walks in scent is known without them even knowing about it " she replies as he pushes her away.

"What the fuck is that?" Thomas shouts as he tries to dust the smoke like thing away from his body.

"Shadow, do you know he survives on the blood that runs inside of my mate's family?" Raine asks innocently.

"Then why the fuck is it surrounding me?" Thomas growls but when Raine does not reply anything, he jerks his head towards her in question but she just smiles.

"I was the one who messed the CCTV's around the HP so no one could get the footage of me walking inside of the weapon's room and stealing a few of them...

The only room no one dared check that night was mine," she informs him but he just keeps frowning not knowing where this was going on.

"What is the point of it? Pretending that someone stole the weapons when it was you?" he asks as he itches his arm.

"To get access to your room" she simply replies and watches he keep itching his body vigorously.

"Oh yeah...is that how you found I had brought rogues in? Putting some device inside of my room to spy on me?" he growls, as the itching does not stop.

"What did he do to me?" he shouts in anger, as he cannot stop feeling all the itches all over his body.

"For someone who had easily remained undetected and made so many lives suffer you really are a dimwit...

No wonder it was easy for Connor to so easily hurt you, use his magic on you, getting weak?" she taunts him.

"What the fuck did he do to me?" Thomas screams at her instead and goes to attack her but he cannot as the itching all over his body intensifies.

"Shall I pass you a bottle?" Raine asks as she pulls a small bottle from her pocket swings in front of him and even if he wants to rubs his body, he stops.

"No" he gasps in horror as she opens the bottle and drops all the red liquid inside of it.

"Yes Thomas, we did put a device inside of your room that night but not to spy on you but to kill you...

Devilin changed the bottle you keep sipping your energy blood drink from with my blood that is why shadow is so attracted to you, that is why you are getting so weak...

That's why my mate let me see you for my final good bye" she replies as she smiles at him.

"You bitch" Thomas shouts as he goes to grab her neck but before he could touch her, his arm falls off his body and he stares at the ground in horror.

"Oops you dropped your arm accidentally," she states straight-faced.

"I will kill you all," he screams as he swings his arm her way but he freezes as the pendant on Raine neck shines brightly.

"No" Thomas screams as he tries to run away from the glow.

Raine hisses a bit as the pendent as well as the ring on her finger starts to burn brightly, she goes to pull the pendant out from her neck but Devilin reaches for it before her.

Both of them let go of the jewelry they have around them, both of their rings and pendant joins and shines even brighter, Devilin opens the box Gio gave him the one he found in Thomas's house and let all the pieces join.

"I want to see this all end, together," Raine replies before Devilin even has the chance to ask her to leave.

"Have I ever said no to you on anything?" he teases as they intertwine their fingers and watches it all end.

Thomas falls down on the ground with a thud as one of his legs falls down next; he crawls to save his life, as he knows if the crystal touches him, he will not have any chance to live.

Cursing and crying he tries to crawls as far away from the ray as possible but it is too late for him as his skin starts to melt, one by one the skin comes off from his body before the first ray of the crystal touches him.

He howls in pain as it burns him, both Raine and Devilin grumble as they close their nose and mouth when the smell of Thomas's burnt skin starts to surround the air.

"I guess I should have just gone out of HP like everyone did when you asked me to leave" Raine groans as the bad smell is all over the place.

"Teaches you a lesson huh?" Devilin teases as he pulls her head towards his chest.

"I think I will puke," she groans closing her eyes and trying to take as much of her mate's scent as possible.

"Don't freak" Devilin warns as he stiffens at once when Thomas's scream dies.

"Wh...shit" Raine's eyes widens as the crystal brightens to the points that the ray covers all the HP ground and with a lightening speed comes their way.

"Devil" Raine shouts as she tries to pull away from him and run but he holds her tightly to him.

"Stalker, let's die together" Devilin stares at her face and states making her eyes widen even more.

However, before she could answer him the first ray of crystal touches them and she closes her eyes to accept their fate but she is shaken up as Devilin chuckles and hits on her forehead with his forefinger.

"You are so easy to fool," he laughs as he turns her face towards the crystal that crushes into a million pieces as soon as it touched them and now there was nothing but tiny little pieces of it as it rains down on them and disappears.

"You are such an ass" Raine grins even if she stares at the beautiful image in front of her.

"Yeah but I like yours much better" he grins groping one of her ass-cheeks.

"So is it done?" Raine asks as she walks along with her mate to see only a black spot where they last saw Thomas screaming.

"Yeah you could say so"

"How did you know about the crystal's power?" Raine asks next as she stares up at her mate.
