"What are you doing?" Blue asks as she watches her aunt posing in front of the mirror.

"Oh, hey Blue"

"Hi, but what are you doing?" she asks jumping on the bed as she pulls out a chocolate from her pocket and munches on it.

"Taking pictures"

"Why?"

"So I can send this to my mate and make him realize what he is missing being away from me"

"Oh can you take few of mine as well, I will send it to Eric and do you know he is my mate?"

"Awe, yes I know but no you cannot send pictures to him. You are too young"

"But daddy takes lots of my pictures" she argues with her.

"It's different things"

"How? All I have to do is smile and then done" she states narrowing her eyes at her aunt.

"Fine, says cheese"

"Eric" Blue says instead and smiles brightly.

"So how are you going to send it to your mate?" Blue asks checking her aunt's poses once again.

"Oh damn"

"You do not know, I see" Blue sighs getting down from the bed.

"Grown ups" Blue sighs as she walks out of the room.

"Where are you going?"

"I finished my chocolates so this room is no use for me and please do not tell mommy I had one" Blue replies as she runs out of the room.

"I feel used," she shouts at the girl who giggles.

"Hey Kiddo" Adrian calls as he pokes his head inside to see his daughter working.

"Oh hey Papa"

"What are you doing?"

"Hacking my mate's phone to find his location, as it seems I cannot get a hand on any of the Novas"

"It's of no use"

"I can see now, where did they went anyway?"

"On a secret mission"

"I hate this"

"You are not the only one"

"What do you mean?"

"The women in our life are gathered in the living room, your mate is not the only one on a mission" he grins as he walks inside of the room.

Both of them make their way towards the living room to find almost everyone of the women sitting around and chatting up.

"Ladies" Adrian calls asking for their attention and Raine hides behind her father's back as all of them stares their way.

"Hello Adrian" the women greet on cue.

"Hello everyone, well may I introduce you all to my youngest daughter Adriana" he grins pulling his daughter from behind his back and she shyly whispers a hello to them.

"Come on, when did you start begin so shy" Adrian nudges her side and she pouts.

"This is wrong of you, I do not even know most of them, well not personally," she hisses before turning around to smile at the crowd.

"Well then let me introduce you to all of them" he takes her hand and walks towards the women.

"Raine, meet the Lady herself, who gave your Papa a reason to live and serve this world, Queen Crystal William" he makes the first introduce.

"Hello Raine, it's lovely to finally meet you" Crystal smiles as she hugs the girl who wraps her arms around the woman awkwardly.

"I am Chris's mother," she whispers softly in Raine ears who smiles.

"I know who you are, well I just do not know you personally" she replies and Crystal stares at the girl in confusion.

"Well I have all of your profiles saved in my computer back in HP so" she smiles sheepishly as none of them know that she has known them her whole life watching them through the screen that has been her only friend at times.

"Oh like that" Crystal smiles as she touches the girl's cheek and smile.

"Come on now" Adrian pulls his daughter away from Crystal before he introduces her to Devilin's mother.

"Raine, meet Dante's mate and your future mother-in-law Jeannette Carlos" he grins making Raine glare at her father.

"Finally, I get to meet the girl" Jean smiles as she stares wide-eyed her way.

"Hello, Mrs. Dante" she states a she puts her hand out to shake.

"Mrs. Dante? This is new; well I must say I am a bit disappointed, when I heard about this girl named Raine...

Who is all my mate talks about and then knowing she was my eldest son's mate as well as Adrian's daughter I thought she would be something else" Jean states as she looks at Raine up from head to toe.

Raine flush a bit, as she knows she was not so presentable wearing her hood and sweat pants. However, she did not know she was going to be meeting her mother-in-law.

Then again, she has never been one to care about the way she dressed, she wears what she feels comfortable in and right now she missed her mate and wearing one of his clothes made her feel comfortable.

"I..."

"Uh-uh I am not done talking" Jean interrupts Raine as she goes to speak making her more uncomfortable and dread feels her thinking Devilin's mother will not approve of her.

"I must have a word with my mate and my son once they are back from wherever they are...

Dante will get a scolding on his life for calling you an ugly duckling because you are a swan not a duck"

"What?" Raine asks shocked,

"Awe, did I scare you?" Jean asks laughing before she hugs the girl.

"I am sorry, I was just pulling your leg, look at you so scared"

"Oh, for a second I thought you did not like me"

"Like you, honey, how can I not love the girl who can put my mate in his place? I have never seen my son happier when he talks about you...

So thank you for being my son's happiness" she smiles as she kisses Raine's cheeks in gratitude.

"He talked about me?" Raine asks in awe, as she had no clue about it.

"My Devilin can never hide anything from his mother, welcome home Raine, I am so glad you two finally were able to meet under right circumstances" she smiles.

"So do you ladies do this all the time?" Raine asks as she looks around the room.

"Do what?"

"Get together when your mates are away on mission"

"Most of the times, it gives us time to gossip and catch up with each other. You will know once you are fully mated with Devilin that how our mates when around us can never let us wander alone anywhere" Crystal answers her.

"They turn into these insatiable beasts," Ana giggles and as if on cue, all of them blush at once making Raine frown.

"Insatiable beasts? Do they run around the house in their wolf form or something?" she asks in confusion looking around the room.

"Something like that" Scar replies as she blushes more.

"Devilin cannot turn into a wolf can he?" she asks Jean who just bursts out laughing.

"Okay, we should not corrupt her mind"

"Okay" Raine speaks as she has no clue why the women were all giggling all of a sudden, she will have to ask Devilin about it.

Raine opens her laptop before logging in, she checks the e-mails she got before she connects herself to the headquarters to check on the things, as she is not allowed to leave her home and go back to HP for the time being.

She opens the detector to locate the warrior's locations that were under her radar while she goes to check on the things on going at the HP.

Making sure all of the orders of weapons are done, along with the news announcement and changes that has been made is notified to the related person, she tries to trace Thomas her own way.

The day he had asked to teach her to control her power she had deliberately let him come closer to her so she could put the tracking device she had with herself all along on him.

Even if she was not inside HP, she had not once stopped searching for him. Raine was never known to leave her task unsolved and she was not planning to do so anytime soon and one of the Alpha's had trusted her to pin him down and she will find him before anyone would.

She would have caught him sooner but with her emotionally unstable and staying with Devilin, she had let go of any thoughts regarding the man. She was in her own safe haven, with her mate and away from all of her troubles but now that she is back in reality, she needs to find him soon before he does something that will make Raine regret that she did not put a stop to the man sooner.

Making sure all of her tracks are well hidden she starts to search for the man, when the red icon appears in her laptop, she starts to map it out to see where he has been going or what he was up to.

Pulling a paper and pen out Raine starts to draw the map that appears on her laptop, she marks all of the places where the red dots are and once she is done, she closes the site before staring at the paper in her hand.

She tries to figure out what he was planning visiting so many different places.

"Why so many places and so soon?" she mumbles as she stares at the paper then the thought struck her that he can use the portals as well.

Putting the paper away, she once again checks on the warrior's movements and seeing them still on their given places she closes her laptop before lying on the bed with a huff.

"Is he collecting his own army to fight?" she talks to herself, as her mind was not thinking straight or giving her any answers.

"What are you up to Thomas?" she whispers before pulling the paper near her and staring at it.

She picks it above her head and keep staring at all the red dots he had visited when she sees it.

Getting up and once she picks her pen up and starts to join the red dots to see what it would be and she curses her stupidity at what she finds.

All the dots connecting with each other makes a word, a message he left for her.

"Mate Me," Raine reads it aloud before she crumbles the paper and throws it away.

"Sick bastard" she grumbles as her mood dampens with just two words, as the Thomas had known all along that she was tracking him down.

"Papa" Raine shouts as she enters his study without knocking.

"What?"

"How do I track down Devilin?" she asks him straight.

"Raine, you cannot"

"Why not?"

"Because if he wanted you to know where he was going he would not have left without a word"

"But he did leave words for me and a feather from his wings" she replies as she pulls out the feather which still had his scent.

"Okay smarty pants. Just wait for a few more days I am sure he will arrive soon"

"But I want to see him now"

"Why? What happened?"

"Nothing"

"Honey, what is it?"

"I just miss him okay; he cannot just leave at once after shaking my equilibrium like this. After making me get used to him being by my side," she shouts out in frustration.

"I am sure he is not fairing well too, it is a difficult time for both of you but you will have to suffer, sorry honey I cannot help you on this" Adrian smiles as he walks to hug her.

"I wish I could at least use our bond to talk to him but we are not fully mated" she sighs getting comfortable in her father's hug.

"He will be here soon"

"I wish he was now" she sighs as she pulls away from him.

"If anything is bothering you, you can talk to me you know" Adrian offers once again but she just shakes her head no.

"It's okay Papa, I was just missing him" she smiles before leaving him to do this own thing.

"Whoa, Kiddo" Warren stops her just as she goes to crash in to him.

"Oh Uncle Warren, hey"

"What is it?" he smiles as he holds her back.

"Nothing, I just could not sleep"

"Want me to sing you a lullaby," he offers grinning mischievously her way.

"Uh, no thanks, I will go spend some time with mom" she waves him off as she walks away.

Raine ends up back in her room pacing back and forth, as she was disturbed after reading the message. She cannot go and talk with her father about it and she does not know anyone whom she can run to, except her mate who was MIA.

"Bastard, mate him? How dare he to even say something like that," she groans as she lies down on the bed once again.

Closing her eyes, she tries to calm herself and before she knows it, she is in deep slumber and in a different place.

"Miracle?" she calls seeing her dragon.

"Finally" Miracle shouts as she sees Raine.

"What is going on?"

"You tell me, you have been so tensed and nervous," Miracle asks.

"How did you know?"

"I am your dragon Raine, I will sense it when you are unhappy and even if I wanted to rush to your side I could not...

As you see my mate has forbidden me to walk out of the portal threatening that if I ever do it without his consent then he will break things with me, mates I tell you" Miracle sighs as she goes to sit down next to Raine as they were in the clearing where they bonded.

"I have been tracking Thomas and today I looked where he was"

"So did you found him?"

"No, but he left me a message"

"So that is what disturbing you?"

"Yes, there was just two words, mate me"

"Bastard" Miracle states grimly before she wraps her tail around Raine showing her support.

"I want Devilin so much"

"I know, it's not same without Drag around as well"

"What do you mean? Isn't Drag with you?"

"No, he has gone along with Devilin"

"What?" Raine asks surprised as she at once gets up from her sitting position.

"You did not know?"

"No. I thought Drag cannot leave the place"

"He can but he just decided never to, I am surprised he did but it is for better and while he is gone I am not allowed to leave the place...

It sucks to be grounded by your mate" Miracle sighs as she lies down on the ground with her head on her hands swinging her tail.

"What are they up to anyway?" Raine asks as she had no clue Drag had gone along with Devilin.

"No idea, Drag, he did not say anything to me,"

"Let's just hope our mates are thinking straight and come back to us soon"

"They will, don't worry"

"I just have this bad feeling going on after reading Thomas's message and I just want Devilin around me as soon as possible" Raine confesses as she lies down next to Miracle.

"Don't worry, I am here for you and if the need arises I will come running for you, Drag's threat be damned" Miracle promises trying to assure Raine who just sighs and closes her eyes as they both try to rest for a while.
