Dante grins as he watches his daughter running his way; he pulls his arms out just in time to catch her.

"Daddy" Jane shouts in excitement, as it has been a few days since she had seen her old man as well as was surprised herself, at how much she missed him.

"Hey Princess, how are you?" he grins as he twirls her around.

"I cannot believe I miss you," she confesses straight brightening his grin even more.

"You do, don't you. I know I am missable," he laughs before turning to see both Crystal and Connor watching their exchange.

"If you are here to take me then forget it," she warns pulling him towards the house.

"Nah, I think I love the empty house where it's just me and your mother" he winks her way, suggestively and she gags.

"Don't even try to elaborate it, I am still on first base with my mate" she sadly sighs as they both walk inside the house.

"I see you finally made it" Connor states straight-faced

"Hey I am the one who is loosing the daughter, so don't be sour" Dante states defensively at Connor's cold shoulder.

"We are going to be in-laws," he adds later wiggling his brow.

"A word" Connor demands as he walks away towards some room ordering Dante to follow him.

"Daddy, don't even try to act like the jerk you are ruin my relation with my mate's family or I swear" Jane warns Dante stopping him as he goes to follow Connor.

"You and faith, don't joke with me" she scoffs pushing him towards the room Connor went into.

"I am not giving any dowry to you," Dante announces as soon as he enters the room Connor was in.

"Not the time to joke" Connor warns as he points at a seat for him to take.

"Okay, so why are we meeting up like this, you better not ask me to take my daughter away...

Because, my daughter never listens to me," he sighs heavily as he takes the seat.

"Of course she does not; she is your daughter after all. That apart, we need to talk about some vital things about my son...

Even if you are the last person to talk about him, but now that our kids are mates I guess I have no choice but to open up about him and his nature," Connor states as he sits in front of Dante.

"I won't hurt him in anyway," Dante promises in all his seriousness.

"I am not worried about you hurting him; it's he himself that I am more worried about" Connor voices sadly showing the vulnerable side of him to Dante.

Dante silently listens, letting the man tell him about his son in his own time and Connor is glad he keeps silent and lets him do the talking.

"Chris may seem like any normal boy inside his house but he has a very low tolerance of things around him. He does not have such a strong shield around his mind like us...

He can pick up any thoughts, emotions within a mile; it's sometimes hard to keep the boy in check...

He is telepathic but his sensitivity level is very low. I am surprised he let Jane touch and be with him for all this time, as he hates any sort of touching even from us...

Maybe, it is a mate thing but I am glad he is opening up with Jane. You have seen first hand his capabilities when he cannot have any form of control around his surroundings; it is not just dangerous for him but the people around him as well...

"I will talk with Chris" Connor nods, before they both get up just as Jane barges in the room.

"NO" Dante shouts in shock as he takes a seat on the chair.

"He isn't that bad, is he?" Jane slowly asks staring back at Connor who shrugs his shoulder not understanding his reaction.

"Anyone but him" Dante hisses as he pulls his hair tightly.

"What daddy, he seems nice; he even saved both Chris and Devilin at the party" Jane scolds him not understanding his reaction.

"He cannot be Ariel's mate"

"First, he is Erika's son; I cannot believe I have to explain more than that. Second, that boy has gone insane to find a cure for his sister, when we all know it is impossible to find a cure for that girl no matter how heart breaking it is to see her...

Lastly, Ariel is not ready to start a relation with anyone, you all may think she is fine but she is anything but...

I cannot believe why I didn't see this coming before, where is she?" Dante asks in frustration.

"Chill dad, I am sure Eric will not hurt her, I mean isn't that what mates are supposed to do, protect their mate...

"Jane, where is Ariel?" Dante stops her talk and ask.

"Sorry dad, but she is already on her way to move in with Eric," Jane sadly states.

"Thank you man, at least someone understands me, let's hurry and meet Ad first" Dane finalizes before they both disappears from the room leaving Jane shuffling not knowing what to do.

"Call your brother" Dante smiles as he once again appears in front of his daughter and leaves again but this time no before kissing on her forehead.

Adrian rubs his chin thinking, once Dante finishes explaining everything. He does not know what to say as he has seen Eric grown up in front of his eyes.

He cannot believe the boy had it in him to kill the people he grew up with him, as well now his daughter was in some sort of danger they were not sure about.

Still he cannot just sit and not to do anything about it. He is at fault as well, for letting his daughter go, as he was well aware about her condition. However, he just wanted to keep her happy and he knows how it was to live away from your mate.

"We cannot just go and bring her back, not until she wants to. Let us give him the benefit of doubt, let us just keep an eye out on him...

We cannot just judge him because of his past, maybe he did changed. Let's just look out, this is not just about my daughter's life, if this thing blows out badly not only will she get hurt but I don't think she will ever be able to survive this one" Adrian finally speaks trying to keep his calm as much as possible.

"Okay, if you say so. I am sure Devilin will not mind keeping an eye on her. Until, then I will ask Ryan to pull out everything about Eric from the moment he left HP...

I cannot bother Enzo as he is making things right with his mate who by the way killed a few vampires on her trip...

"Okay, will move on now. I need to check on few things. Connor here, finally is ready to help me out so before he changes his mind I will take advantage of the fact" Dante grins as a twinkle forms in his eyes making Ad laugh even more.

"Thank you Dante for looking out for my daughter when I couldn't" Ad sincerely thanks him.

"Oh come on, she is as much my daughter. You were just lucky you met Scar first and I had a mate" Dante goes to hug Ad.

"I still feel if given the chance, you will start an affair with Scar" Connor comments throwing in his two cents on the topic

"Without a blink of an eye, but we both know Scar will not cheat on him," Dante sadly states making the men chuckle.

"Does that mean you would cheat on Jean?" Ad asks in disbelief.

"Of course not, after being celibate for her for so many years, you think I will just go and cheat on her...

I am not done with her, she isn't off the hook for that" he grins thinking about his lovely mate. No matter how much he jokes about Scar and him, he knows he will never change the fact that Jean was his mate.

She was his and he was hers, plain and simple.

"What?" Devilin bellows in the middle of the lobby startling the people walking around along with a blonde-haired woman.

"I knew there was something fishy about that prick, wait until I get my hands on him," he vows as he hears Jane talking about everything Dante told her.

"I will go get her immediately" he finalizes but stops as Jane requests him not to and to talk to their father before taking any steps.

"The more time I waste the more miles I will put between me and her. I will not let any other bastard hurt her," he growls as he waits right in front of the elevator.

"Okay fine, I am calm I will talk with dad and go get her back. Anyway you take care as well and don't get kicked out of your mate's house for your barbaric behavior" he advices before cutting the line and putting his phone away.

"Hello" the blonde girl whispers startling Dante.

Dante turns to find the girl smiling widely at him as he holds his heart, which was suddenly beating fast.

"We need to stop meeting like this," he whispers trying to calm himself.

"I know, right? It is wonderful that we both think same thing that is why I have booked us a table for dinner tonight, where we can talk about everything...

After that we can totally go back to my homepage or yours..."

Devilin holds his hands up to stop her rambling as his mind was in chaos with everything.

"This is my stop," he answers instead slowing backing out of the elevator.

"Oh...okay, well I will be waiting for you at eight at the restaurant..."

"I cannot go anywhere with you" he interrupts her again.

"Oh is it because of that call you had?" she asks him worried.

"Yes, Ariel it seems she is in trouble"

"Oh, then well you should go help her, we can have dinner some other time" she smiles in assurance before punching the ground floor and waving him goodbye.

"Did I just..." Devilin shakes his head before staring at his hand waving her back, as he cannot understand why he even told her about Ariel when he should have just escaped away from the crazy girl.

Adriana smiles as she walks out of the elevator, happy that her mate did not right away say no for the dinner but he actually told her a little about his worry.

"Awesome" she yelps pumping her fist in the air happily.

"Oh wait, if he is worried about the girl then that means she should be in very big trouble for him to react in such a way...

That means he will be going to rescue her which will put both of them in danger, oh god what if he is there fighting the bad guys away when out of no where some other bad one gets to him...

He will stand there helpless, wishing he did not come alone but had some sort of help. No, I will not let that happen, I will have to be there for my mate no matter what!" she finally comes to the decision before making up her mind and preparing to follow where he was going.
