So he took out a loan from a religious order of knights. They were called the Templaga. He didn’t have the money to pay them back. So he went into debt. The interest increased. He had to suffer monthly, and sometimes weekly, beatings from them, demanding that he pay them back. One day, they came to his home. They threatened to arrest him in a week’s time if he didn’t cough up the money he owed. Will Geruke let himself get arrested and killed?
