Army of one
"If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself" - Some Dude. Gary was given the chance for a new life in a strange world filled with magic and swords, but for Gary who had knowledge about such phenomenons (isekai). He knew he couldn't rely on the natives. No it was only him that he had to rely on if he wanted to succeed, luckily God gifted the perfect skill to help. [CLONE] The ability to clone yourself, knowledge, skills and all! With a [Clone] army that consists of the same persons intelligence, powers, and flaws.... What could possibly go wrong? Warning: First time Author, grammar will suck. Lot's of stupid jokes and banter. Status and litrpg elements. The novel will focus on building up the army and base. With some exploring of the lands, even though they are technically the same person the clones will have their own adventures that tie into the larger plot.
8 199A Lonely Spiral
Rye wakes up with a toad in her mouth. From the first day the world is out to make her life miserable as she struggles through living without a sun, through graves and grave threats in the form of man or monster, or even just her innermost doubts and insecurities. Join her as she explores a dark, dark world and slowly, but surely finds her place in it. Or will she? What if the world has no place for a small, weak and uncertain person like her? How will she adapt, if at all, to ever worsening circumstances? (Features a slow-burning progression, many setbacks and a thousand ways to suffer in the age of darkness with a slice of humor to finish it off. Expect the dark-souls of adventure stories. Early chapters are a bit of a mess, but it gets better. If you want to skip forward, I can recommend chapters 19, 26, or 34 as starting points.) Heyo, YJarex here, the Y is silent. This is my first story so please be kind, but don't hesitate to point out flaws or ask questions if things are unclear. I fully intend to continue writing this until it is done some time in the far future. Cover art is a commission by the wonderful hou_jae04. Check them out on Instagram here. Schedule is Tuesday and Thursday with a chance of bonus chapters on Saturday. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Done!
8 53310 Year Tower - A Tower-Climbing Regressor LitRPG - Book One: Second Chance
It was almost 10 Years ago that the Tower first emerged. A mysterious demi-planar monolith containing infinite dangers but also infinite possibilities. Humanity saw it as a boon, at first. A gift from a benevolent God, or from some species with a higher risk tolerance but good intentions. Then the 5 Year Disaster struck, and Humanity learned the truth. The Tower was a test, not a gift. A test they were failing. They doubled down on their efforts, Climbing with the fury of a dying species, but it was not enough. In the final moments before their species was annihilated, a single unimportant member of the final force of Humanity found a unique item. It sent him back to three months after the Tower emerged, to lead Humanity in a rare second chance. But one man cannot save a world alone, even with a decade’s worth of memories. Will Sutton, Pioneer, will have to deal with both allies and enemies to avoid the mistakes which plagued Humanity’s first Climb if he wants to ensure that they clear the 50th Floor within 10 Years.

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
