My first thought was I can't leave my father. He was already left by my mother, I can't leave him.

"You don't have to leave him, Hecate made sure to leave you the scroll that works fine with a magician's blood," Hades said as freed me from the chains of death.

"You personally attend all the dead souls?" I asked him.

"No, you are being sent back to someone special." He answered with a sense of remorse.

"Elias came?" I know who can manage to get a dead soul back.

"And he sacrificing a lot for you." Hades elaborated on the fact of his sacrifice.

By the time he was done, I was crying.

"You can travel in time back and forth but Elias will be in danger as long as you are away from him. that is how deeply your soul is bounded."

"Can I meet Hecate once I am back?"

"She will be gone but know that she loved you hence the gift she left you and Elias." He said in a mocking tone if love baffled him.

"What did she leave for Elias?"

"You." He smiled as if I am the most clueless person in this world.

My eyes opened and I was in an elaborately decorated room. It had a bed made of mahogany and with intricate patterns all over. A glass chandelier hung over my head and golden cream curtains covered my room.

I was legit sleeping on silk sheets and in a frilly kind of sexy nightwear. Beside me was a nightstand with candle burnt through the night. I got down and a soft carpet greeted my feet. I just stared around unbelievably at the expensive stuff in the room, the lamps, the bronze colored box, the marble columns.

A slight knock on the door surprised me a little.

Where am I?

A girl younger than me entered in what we call a maid's outfit and carried a bowl of boiling water, a towel-like cloth and something really fragrant.

"Your Highness, we need to get ready for the breakfast." She said and I waited for her to laugh but she seemed dead serious.

So I was a Princess now, why?

Why did Hades send me as a royalty?

"Tell me -What is your name?" I asked.

"Sienna."

"Okay, so Sienna do you know someone named Elias?"

She gasped as if I did a crime of some sorts.

"Highness, please be respectful, he the King of the nation."

So, I was still in the right century.

"And we have a ball at his place this evening." She informed and started cleaning me with fragrant oil and water.

Damn, it felt relaxing and I enjoyed being a princess in that moment.

Because this evening I had a date.

"Alisha." He whispered and relief flooded through me.

He remembered. Some part of me was afraid he will not remember, but he did.

"You looked terrible Prince," I said looking at his condition.

His eyes looked tired and red, dark circles were too prominent and his eyes had lost his luster.

"You died in front of me, what do you expect?"

He did hit the nerve there.

"To have a happy life," I mumbled lowering my head feeling guilty.

And next thing he did was pull me in for a hung in front of the whole crowd. I gasped as warmth flooded through me and I hugged him back.

"I am a married man, how can I have a happy life without the love of my life."

I pulled apart not sure what he meant and then he showed me the ring I gave him still on his finger.

The crowd was now whispering around us and I realised that we have done enough PDA for 1700's.

"Dear, I presume you met the King." My dad in this century came to greet the King.

"Yes, I did father." And I grinned at Elias who looked surprised.

My father was also a king of some smaller part of the southern kingdom but Elias was the King of all the parts united.

As they both chatted together, I looked around the hall to see how many enemies I had to deal with, how many eyes Elias with disdain.

"Alisha, King wants you to dance with him so I will leave you here." My father gave me a subtle smile as he left.

"He thinks you like me."

"How are you a princess?"

"Hecate made me this way, I don't know why?"

A slow smile spread on his face as his previously dull eyes sparkled.

"To make it easier for me to get married to you."

It made sense as soon as he said it, a princess from a known respected Kingdom could be easily wedded in a royal family.

"I might have competition," I said as I saw various Princess' ogling Elias.

"Never." He said and pulled me for a hot kiss.

I literally forgot anything and everything that we shouldn't be doing this in this century.

As he pulled away a smile graced his handsome face and I felt immensely happy.

"Don't leave me again Alisha." He pleaded with his eyes.

"Never." I mirrored his words.

"Since I swear this century lacks good bodyguards for King."

He just chuckled at my words.

"Now I will take my leave Highness and will be back when you sent in the marriage proposal," I said with a smirk.

"Really?" He wanted me to around as much as I wanted him around.

I bent forward and whispered, "No, I will be your bodyguard in disguise as well."

I walked past the girl giving them a smile too sweet for them to notice that it was a warning smile.

"I am glad you protected the King today." The previous King said who still desired power so much that he was trying to kill Elias.

"And I always will." My words must have been sharp and promising because he looked surprised.

Since it was surprising to him and the rest of the population how a girl can protect someone as important as King or anyone for that matter. But here I was bounded to Elias to be his protector, his bodyguard my non-other than the goddess of magic and fate itself.
