The physician helped Elias with his minor wounds as I sat next to him, my face covered with a cloth. My hands were cold and something rumbled in my gut as I waited for the physician to leave and Elias to react.

I clenched and unclenched and fist and biting my lower lips hard tried to control the breathing which got harder by each passing second. Norman, on the other hand, was not as 'cool' as he thought he was and fainted on the sight of palaces, castles and maybe assassins.

The physician finally got up after the cleaning the wound and then bowed.

"Wait, please all see if my bodyguard is injured anywhere." His words were guarded and I could not judge if he was angry or just ignoring my presence.

"I am fine," I answered in a small voice.

"Let him check Alisha, I don't want you to be in pain." My mind did a mini yelp on his words.

He did not want me in pain.

When he mentioned my name the physician's face registered a shock as I removed the cloth and he realised that Prince's bodyguard was a girl. Nevertheless, he did his job and patched up few cuts here and there.

After he was gone Elias carefully stared at an unconscious but fine Norman.

"Doppelganger," I answered his silent question using it as an excuse to talk to him.

But he just came closer and pulled me in for a hug. My heart stopped and so did my mind and every nerve in my body. But then my heart restarted ready to jump out of my bosom.

He does not hate me.

"I thought I will never see you again." The tinge of worry and helplessness in his tone was related able since I felt the same.

His grip on me was one of possessiveness as if he was scared I will leave.

He was the one that broke the hug and his eyes roamed all over my face with absolute adoration. I was blushing a thousand shades of red and my toes curled under my feet with nervousness.

And then his lips lifted a smile, "I should have known."

"What?" I asked my throat dry with all the tension.

"Attitude problems, always vanishing when I was meeting the Princess of Norgivia, excellent fighting skills in both forms. I should have known that you were my bodyguard." He didn't sound angry at all.

"I swear I didn't want to betray you," I said in a small tone my head hung in shame.

"And to think all the enemies you handled for me, threatened my father and ministers and even handled those many assassins. You protected me better than any male bodyguard could have done." He sounded impressed.

"And I was the one that represented Norgivia in the tournament," I mumbled hoping he would not hear me.

For a moment he registered the information and then laughed out loud.

"You made me jealous using yourself." He remembered when I said that someone dashing was representing our kingdom.

The thought made me smile.

"You saved me from battling my own brother." He said in the soft tone as the realisation hit him.

I just stood there with heavy air around us not sure how to respond.

"How many times did you save me?" He asked and his eyes went down to the point where I recently took a hit for him.

"I love you so it is not a big deal you know." I tried to sound casual about it but the blushing was not helping.

"Can I get all the answers then?" He asked and I nodded since he almost knew about all the weird.

I told him everything from being the Alisha from the future to how I became his bodyguard, why I never followed the rules and all my training because I was from a family with a lot of enemies. I told him how I participated in the tournament because he put me in difficult spot inviting Norgivia for marriage proposal when he didn't even meet the real princess.

The only thing I didn't tell him is where his magic came from or that the Queen was not actually using magic but it Agnes' trick to make her think that she is using magic and therefore her son got the power.

"So you lived here protecting me when you had a family back home. Why didn't you look for an escape?" He asked.

"Well, at first I did but then later when that boy in the market told me I can keep you safe as long as I am around I decided to stay since I was already in love by then." He looked at me with awe.

"And you came back now." He said it like an answer to some question in his head.

"I was scared something will happen to you if I am not around. I am after all your bodyguard."

"You are much more than a challenge you know." He said and I realised he was thinking back to the time I asked he was so interested me just because I was a challenge.

"Then what am I?" I asked looking into his eyes feeling warm and content right then.

"Didn't you just said that, my bodyguard." And he pulled me closer for a kiss.

"Where have you been?" King bellowed as he saw Elias on the court.

Before Elias could answer my impulse got better of me and spoke up, "Should you not ask the Prince if he was alive and fine. He was attacked you saw him last." My words made the King angrier.

Agnes had informed everyone that he was sick and needed rest. Her magic making people forget that after the attack we vanished right in front of them.

King had tried to get him killed again or maybe it was his henchman of a minister.

I was still covering my face in front of the council since Elias didn't want to reveal my true identity yet.

"He is a Prince, he has some duties," King said lamely since he knew it was stupid and I just made him a bad father in front of the council.

"We have caught few assassins and they might have some secrets to tell," Elias said and I had to hold back a smirk at his brilliant idea.

We caught no one but the look on King's face was priceless while some of the ministers looked agitated.

"Good, we should not let this happen again, you have faced many attacks," King said in an uncomfortable tone.

The council ended with some advice and political stuff. I could have slept through something boring but I had to be alert for Elias' safety.

"It's time you got married, Prince."That evil piece of shit minister walked towards us.

"I will once I am done with the ones trying to kill me."

"Your bodyguard here seems very skilled." He looked at me with wariness.

Since my eyes were the only thing he could see I gave him my coldest glare.

"I am alive because of him," Elias stated shortly.

"It will be tragic if he died." He had the nerve to smirk.

Elias almost growled in rage, I have never seen him this angry even the minister and his bodyguard back down.

Suddenly his bodyguard dropped on the ground and it was my turn to remind him what tragedy is.

"He is alive but you see there is needle I just shot on his body that will keep his sense dull for few hours. it will be tragic for you if you try to mess with Prince or me."

"Insane and wild, you are not trained to respect, are you?" He said with eyes shaking with fear.

"No trains someone to respect, it comes if the person deserves to be respected. In your case, you don't deserve the respect at all." I answered and then had to drag Elias out who was angry and conflicted if killing a minister is legal.

"I made your life uncomfortable didn't I?" He said as we entered his chambers.

"No, never," I answered immediately defending him.

He smiled and shook his head.

Norman 2 was awake but he was not the chamber when we returned.

"Where did that troublemaker go?" I asked more to myself.

"For now on you will not have to sit and guard me, we can sleep together." I literally had to choke on oxygen at his words.

"What?" I asked and Prince just smirked.

He was playing me.

"Just because I am a girl I don't need special treatment, your highness."

"The special treatment is because you are the girl I love." He said with a look so intense that made something coils in my stomach.

He walked closer and cupped my cheeks softly, "Don't worry I will not be the reason to distance you from your family."

My eyes watered at his words.

"What will we do?" I asked hoping he had some plan in mind.

"Ask the person who is familiar with magic, my mother." He said and I grimaced mentally because we needed Agnes for this and I needed to find out of Kirk was evil or not.

I know why Elias can travel through time but why could I? Why can't Mel and Matthew?

"Who the hell is he?" Norman's 2 was voice caught me by surprise as he walked in with Norman 1 who looked equally surprised.

I gave them a hesitant smile, now there was a lot of explaining to be done.
