Suddenly, the visions of her past disappeared and Natalye no longer felt the man inside of her head. She opened her eyes and saw the man with a shocked look on his face. "My dear, I am so very sorry. One should not suffer such fate as you have." Natalye nodded thankfully. "But, I can assure you that you are safe with me and I can help you train with your powers."

"Do you think I could actually learn to control it?"

Charles slightly shook his head. "No, I don't think you can... I you can." Natalye smiled at Charles and he smiled in return.

She held out her hand. "Natalye Prime."

He reached for her hand and shook it. "Charles Xavier, welcome aboard!" Natalye beamed at Charles. "Alright, better change into those new clothes! We'll be leaving shortly after Erik finishes with the papers." Charles unclasped his hand from hers and hands her the bundle of clothing.

"Wait, who's Erik?" Natalye asks.

"He's a mutant like us and he'll be joining us along with others." Charles explained, getting up and walking out the door. "Don't dawdle." Charles says, shutting the door behind him to give Natalye some privacy.

Natalye chewed the inside of her cheeks, she had to admit she was a tad bit nervous. She's never been outside the institutes walls in years and she hasn't seen actually sunlight for quiet a while and they barely light anything near her knowing her abilities. Was she ready for the outside world?

The thought that she's having second thoughts after the moment she had with Charles really frustrated her. After all she could get more freedom, more sunlight and Charles can teach her how to have better control with her powers. And somehow, coincidentally she might be able to see her friend, Raven again.

But, what if the world won't be ready for her? what if she isn't ready for the world? What of Charles sends her back to the institute?

Will she get her hopes up too high? What if it'll be less than what she'll expect? Is she ready for that leap?

The more Natalye thought about it, the more willing she was to try something new. See a new landscape than these boring old walls, take risks, fight back. And when she thinks about it, this could be the only time she'll get a chance like this.

Natalye put her foot down and made her final decision to leave and to have a new beginning. She decided to take a chance. "Alright. Let's do this." Natalye began to change into her new clothes.

-----5 Minutes Later-----

There was a light knock at the door. "Come in." Charles walked in and smiled at Natalye.

"Are you all set?"

"Yeah, I'm ready to go."

"Alright, let's get going." Charles said as the two began to walk to the desk. As soon as they got there, Erik was finished with the last piece of paper. He looked like he just ran a marathon.

"Ah! Done with paperwork I see." Charles said.

Erik turned and glared at Charles. "You have no idea."

"Erik, I'd like you to meet miss Natalye Prime." Natalye waved timidly.

"Hello, I'm Erik Lehsherr. Pleasure to meet you." Erik held out his hand for her to shake.

Natalye took it. "You too."

"Alright, gents!" Marge says as she makes her way behind the marble desk. "Looks like you're all se-" she pauses when she sees Natalye. She looks at Erik and Charles who were waiting for her to finish her sentence.

Natalye raised her eyebrow. Marge quickly recollects herself "Looks like you're all set. Natalye-" Marge gulps. "I-I hope you'll love your new family and uh- be good to them. O-okay?"

Natalye smiled genuinely and said "okay."

"A-alright, you should get going now or else we'll keep you here." Marge jokes.

"Goodbye, Marge. Take care!" Natalye says as she begins to walk away.

"You too! And be a good girl!" Marge says before Natalye turns her head and smiles mischievously, winking at Marge, emitting her famous blinding light directly to her. Marge gasped and began to rub her eyes with the palm of her hands. She had been blinded by one one of Natalye's infamous light tricks which was what she always did to the other nurses if she wanted to be left alone.

However, she rarely did it but since this was a special occasion and that she won't be able to see the institute anytime soon, she made an acceptance. It didn't harm her eyesight and the blindness only lasted a few seconds because Natalye didn't put as much effort to blind her. Natalye does love to play tricks but she could never go farther from that.

She never was a person to hurt anyone purposely. Even though she tends to be mischievous at times, she could also be polite and lady-like. Natalye never had a one side personality she always had multiple.
