《The Little Mermaid [HAVOK/ALEX SUMMERS] - ON HOLD》fourteen

One by one we boarded the jet, and I strapped myself in beside Alex, who was beside Erik. It wasn't long before we took off and were on our way to stop the war that could quite possibly happen. The jet was fast, so fast in fact that it took all my physical strength to stay in place without my head and arms flinging around all over the place. As we neared the war-zone, Alex took my hand in his and gave it a gentle rub.
"Are you okay? You look like you're gonna be sick," Alex furrowed his eyebrows in worry. I nodded my head.
"Maybe because I am," I try my very hardest to keep the food in my stomach down, and notice that almost everybody else had the same expression on their faces.
"Looks pretty messy out there," I hear Hank mutter from the cockpit; I almost couldn't hear him over the sound of the loud engine rumbling. I look over to Charles and see him raise his index and middle fingers to his forehead, obviously trying to tap into somebody's head. He raises his eye brows and keeps his fingers in place.
"The crew of the Aral Sea are all dead. Shaw's been there."
"He's still here, somewhere," Erik butts in before anyone can say anything.
"He set the ship on course for the embargo line."
"If that ship crosses the line, our boys are going to blow it up. And the war begins," Moira says, to which I nod my head in agreement to despite the fact that I was hardly included in the conversation.
"Unless they're not our boys," says Charles. Everyone looks at each other as if they do not understand. Alex strokes my hand with his thumb once again.
Moments later, we are surrounded by chaos. Without any warning, Hank flips the jet upside down, meaning something had obviously come straight towards us. I scream in panic along with everybody else and clutch Alex's hand even tighter, if it were even possible to do so. The jet then flips back the right way up and Hank turns around and looks at us all from the cockpit.

"A little warning next time, Professor," he says.
"Sorry 'bout that," Charles looks at us all, mostly Sean who looked like an accident had just happened in his pants. "You alright?"
"Yeah," Sean whispers, slightly nodding his head. Alex and I look at each other but don't say anything.
"That was inspired, Charles," Moira shouts from her seat.
"Thank you very much, but I still can't locate Shaw."
"He's down there. We need to find him now," Erik says.
"Hank?"
"Is there anything unusual on the radar or scanners?" Hank asks Moira, who stares at the monitor and shakes her head after a moment.
"No. Nothing."
"Well then he must be underwater. And obviously, we don't have sonar," Hank looks forward in disappointment.
"Yes, we do," Sean pipes up and Charles looks at him.
"Yes, we do," he agrees, taking off his headset and unbuckling his seatbelt. Sean and Erik do the same and the three of them make there way to the opening in the ship, holding onto the bars on the sealing as to make sure they don't fall over.
"Hank, level the bloody plane!" Charles yells over the noise of the engine as the three men sway along with the ship despite how hard they gripped the bars. Hank tried his hardest to make sure the jet flies stably so they are actually able to walk. Sean and Charles arrive at the opening of the plane and turn around, only to see Erik on their heels.
"Woah! You back right off," Sean points to Erik, afraid that he may get pushed much like he was the first time he flew using his sonar. Erik raises his hands in surrender.
"Beast! Open the bomb bay doors!" Sean yells signalling for Hank to open the doors. He does so and the doors slowly open, as wind rushes in causing their hair to fly upwards.
"Remember," Charles grabs Sean by the back and yells into his face over the loud wind, touching his neck. "This is a muscle! You control it. I'll be in here the entire time," Charles points to his head. "We'll see you soon. On my mark! Three, two, one: go!" All of a sudden Sean jumps, making a 'woo!' noise and disappears from my view. Nobody makes a sound for the next minute before Charles speaks up.

"Banshee has got a location on Shaw," he says to Erik. "You ready for this?" Erik nods.
"Let's find out."
A wheel of the plane lowers with Erik standing on top of it, as he attempts to rise Shaw's submarine from the ocean. Though I can't see him, I can hear his groans of struggle from a mile away. A moment or two passes and I can hear a rumbling sound emerging from the water. It was muffled for quite some time, until it got louder instantly, meaning the submarine had just risen from the water. The plane swings around and through the window in the cockpit, we all get a glance of it, causing us to gasp. It lasts only for a second, as the jet continues to spin. We must be stuck in some sort of tornado, I think. Must be the guy in the purple suit. Everyone grabs a hold of their seat despite the fact that we were all strapped in. I hear a loud crash coming from what I think to be the submarine and I look over to Charles, who seemed to be struggling to stay in one place.
"Erik, take my hand!" he yells, looking down at Erik who was still on the wheel. Charles reaches downwards but Erik doesn't seem to be grabbing ahold of him. The plane starts spinning more than ever and I attempt to hold back a scream. I look over to Hank who seems to be trying his hardest to fly against the tornado, and then over to Charles, who began pulling Erik back into to jet. He finally gets in and sighs with relief, until the jet toppled over and collided with something, causing the loudest noise I had ever heard to erupt throughout the jet. Erik jumps on top of Charles, pinning him to the floor with his ability in order to save him from perishing as the plane rolls. I shut my eyes tightly, expecting to die within the next thirty seconds, until the jet stops rolling.
Everything goes quiet for a moment and I open my eyes, only to realise I am strapped to my seat upside down.
"Moira? Moira are you alright?" I hear Charles ask. I look over to Moira and she nods her head.
"Yeah, I'm okay."
I feel Alex put his hand on my leg and I look over to him and sigh with relief as I notice he is in good shape.
"Are you okay?" he asks me, "are you hurt?" I shake my head.
"No, no I'm fine. Are you okay?" I ask, to which he nods at.
"Listen, I'm gonna unstrap myself and then I'm gonna get you out, alright? I don't want you hurting your head." He begins to play with his seatbelt until I put my hand over it.
"Wait, what about you? I don't you to fall on your head." Alex smiles.
"I'll be okay, it's you I'm worried about." He unstraps his belt and lands safely on his hands, falling backwards onto his back. Alex stands up and stands in front of me, grabbing my waist. "Okay, I want you to unbuckle your seat belt and I'll be here to catch you when you fall." I nod my head and begin to play with my own seatbelt. It takes a moment but I get it done, releasing myself from the seat only to be held up by Alex. He safely puts me down and I stand up properly, glad that all of that was over. Now we only had to face Shaw and his minions. This'll be easy - not.

The Morgulon
Greg never really wanted to become a werewolf hunter. He just wanted to prove to his father that he could do the job his family was famous for, maybe earn some money while he’s at it. He certainly never wanted to become a werewolf, or run away from home, or fight the inquisition. Unfortunately, as his brothers would say, fate has a shitty sense of humour. Updates on Mondays. "I feel like this story perfectly represents how you can't judge a book by its cover (or, in this case, concept). Edgy badboy werewolf teen romance? Yeet that concept out the window and get ready for an action-packed fantasy with an incredibly built world and logical, realistic characters." "This is a great story, probably better than any werewolf novel I've read. It's certainly not a typical werewolf story (but don't let that stop you from reading it, the werewolves are still amazing.)" "A werewolf story where people aren't constantly meeting gruesome ends that still maintains a gritty atmosphere. Realistic worldbuilding and character design make this a must read!" - RR reviews The first chapter is also on DeviantArt, more may follow.
