It didn't take long for Monty to get the cameras up and running in the command center. The first sight they saw was Raven on the table.
"Oh my God," Clarke whispered.
"Is that Raven?" Bellamy asked even though he already knew the answer. Monty adjusted the camera to face closer to the wall where the others were chained up.
"Mom?" Clarke said when she realized Abby was there. When Bellamy set his eyes on Jovie, he immediately walked closer.
"It's Jovie," he said. His heart broke at the sight of her. She looked like she was barely standing. She had bruises covering her body and she looked like she hadn't eaten in days. He hated himself for letting her go into that place. He hated himself for not trying to find her the second he found out she was missing. He hastily grabbed one of the walkies and shoved it towards Dante. "Tell them to stop. Now!"
"I won't do that," Dante said. Bellamy was about to yell at him again but Clarke quickly stepped in and took the walkie.
"Carl Emerson, Mount Weather security detail, come in," she spoke.
"Who is this?"
"You know who it is. Give the radio to the president," she said.
"They're moving," Bellamy stated.
"Not a problem. I'll bring it on the main monitor," Monty said.
"This is President Wallace," Cage said over the walkie.
"I have your father," Clarke told him. "If you don't let my people go, I'll kill him."
"How do I know you have him?" He asked. Clarke handed the walkie to Dante.
"Stay the course, Cage," he said to his son.
"You won't do it," Cage said.
"You don't know me very well," Clarke said.

Jovie did her best to try to block out everything but it was difficult. The drill and the screams were too loud. Her body ached and she was more tired than she had ever felt in her life. It wasn't until she heard Cage's voice again that she snapped back into it.
"Take that one off the table," he said.
"Sir, we're not done-"
"Now!" Cage screamed. "And put her on it."
"No!" Abby screamed.
"And after her, put her on it. She only has one left in her anyway," Cage said. "Maybe that'll send them a message." It was those words that made Jovie realize he was talking about her. Her knees buckled a little more, causing the cuffs around her wrists to dig in more. The skin around her wrists was raw and bloody, but it was the last thing she cared about. Unless her people did something quick, she was going to die. Part of her almost accepted that, but the bigger part of her was going to push her to keep fighting until she saw Bellamy again. She was just afraid she wouldn't have the physical strength to do that.
"No. Please. Hey!" Kane screamed as the guards took Abby off the wall. "You don't have to do this."
"Stop!" Abby screamed.
"There has to be another way," Kane tried to reason.
"There isn't," Cage said simply. Jovie hung her head as she listened to Abby begging the guards. She felt incredibly guilty for being slightly relieved that it was her on the table and not Jovie, but if Cage was right about Jovie only having one more procedure left in her then she would be thankful for just a little bit more time.
"No one has to die for bone marrow. We can donate it," Kane offered. "We can donate it." When he realized that they were not stopping he released his anger. "Hey! We can donate it!"

"That'll never happen," Cage told him.
"I can. I can make it happen... with her help," Kane said. It was a promise that he was not sure he could keep but he was desperate. "We can all survive."
"We can't," Cage said before the doctor began drilling.
♛
Just as the doctor had finished drilling on Abby, another guard brought in Jasper.
"Restrain him!" Cage ordered when he saw that Jasper wasn't chained up. Before the guards could get to him though, another alarm began going off. No one knew exactly what it meant, not even the guards. The second they all started gasping and coughing it was clear that they were being exposed to radiation. They all dropped immediately. Jovie knew it was wrong to be happy that they were dying, but she was happy.
When Jovie heard Octavia's name being whispered, she looked up to find her friend running into the room. She looked like a full-blown Grounder and if it were a different time then Jovie would smile. Octavia had never felt like she belonged with the people from the Ark. The Grounders were resistant to her too but it seemed as though things were starting to change.
"Hey, get the keys from the guard," Kane said. Octavia ran over and grabbed the keys from the guard's pocket before setting Kane free. He rushed over to help Abby the second he was free.
"I got you, Jo," Octavia assured her as she went to unlock her next. Jovie fell into Octavia's body the second the handcuffs released from her wrists. Octavia held her tightly for a moment before helping her lean back onto the wall. "I'll be right back. I just need to get everyone out first." Jo barely nodded her head before slowly sliding to the ground. She pulled her knees into her chest and buried her head into them. All she wanted to do was rest now that everything was over.
When she felt hands on her shoulders, she flinched back. It was his voice that made her realize that she was actually safe.
"It's me," he said. She lifted her head to see that it was actually Bellamy kneeling in front of her. The second she made eye contact with him, she let all of it go. She immediately started crying as he pulled her into his body. "You're okay, baby, I got you. I got you." He couldn't help but cry too just listening to her cry. He was so sure that he was going to lose her that it was almost painful how relieved he felt. By the way that she was gripping him he could tell that she felt the same way.
After a few seconds of just holding each other, Bellamy leaned back. He gently picked her up bridal style and kissed the top of her head. Now that he had her he didn't want to let her go. Kane walked over to the two of them and let out a soft sigh at the sight of the blonde.
"You did good," he told Bellamy. "Now let's get these people home. Let's get Jo home."

My take on the "another world" genre. This is also my first fiction, so expect mistakes... Updates every sunday (at least. I might update more than one time a week if I feel like it). Every update will have around 2.000 words (at least for now).
