Like any other day, the Ultimate Secret woke up, got ready, and left to the dining hall. It became a normal routine by now. Everyone was already at the dining hall having breakfast. "Y/n, care to join us for breakfast?" Taka asked, pulling out a seat aside of him. "...Sure, why the hell not." Y/n answered. She got her breakfast and sat aside of Taka. "So, how much did you all miss me?" Leon questioned for the one-millionth time.
"I forgot you were even here..." Y/n teased. "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Leon replied. "Anyways, I was wondering... why did Sayaka want to hurt you? Did something happen?" Y/n asked, quiet enough so Sayaka wouldn't hear. "W-Well... I'm not too sure myself..." Leon mumbled. "Maybe she saw you as an easy target." Yasuhiro teased.
Y/n and Yasuhiro were laughing at the baseball star, and Leon hid his face in his hands, "Why are you bullying me?" He asked, jokingly. "Bullying one another is not acceptable in a school environment! Apologize this instant!" Taka scolded. "Hahaha, sorry Leon." Y/n apologized. "Haha, yeah, me too." Yasuhiro said. The four of them were having a nice breakfast, then they heard someone else enter the dining hall. Everyone turned to see...
"Junko?" Makoto asked. "Haha! The one and only! Now, how much did you losers miss me?" She teased. Everyone greeted her and asked if she was feeling alright. "That looked like it could've killed you..." Hina said. "But it didn't, were you THAT worried about me?" Junko kept on teasing. Eventually everyone left the dining hall.
'...Could it be another motive? What if it is? What if Chihiro or Mondo didn't make it?' Y/n started to worry. She slapped her cheeks to clear her mind, 'It's going to be fine.'

Everyone made their ways to the gym, as instructed. They waited for Monokuma to show himself.
And just like every time, Monokuma jumped from behind the podium. "Helloooo everyone! Glad you could make it! Puhuhu!" He greeted.
"Out with it." Byakuya hissed, obviously annoyed. "Jeez, be patient! Are you THAT desperate to know your next ?" Monokuma asked. "Motive? Again? It hasn't even been that long!" Makoto stated. "I know, I know, but before the despair dies down, I'll make it grow more." Monokuma informed, the aura around him becoming menacing.
"...What's the motive?" Y/n asked, worried to know. "Well, instead of giving you a motive that will probably ruin your lives, I'm giving you something that's like a reward!" Monokuma started. There was a pause, and out of nowhere, money appeared. "TEN MILLION DOLLARS!!" He shouted. "...That's the motive?" Y/n asked. "Yup! I've prepared a really good motive! If you attack someone, you get the money! Puhuhu, isn't it awesome? To get paid for hurting someone else?" Monokuma seemed way too excited about the motive. "Just think of all the things you could buy with this much money!" He said. "...I'm sure nothing will happen with this motive." Y/n said. She then turned around and left.
Soon, everyone else started leaving.
It had been a day since the motive, and nothing had happened. Everyone had breakfast, and Y/n returned to her room at around 7:45 in the morning. After a while, it was already around 8 in the morning. "I knew it. Nothing has happened." The Ultimate said whilst leaving her dorm.
"AAAAHHH!" She heard someone scream. "That came from the rec room!" Y/n heard Makoto shout. Some people were following him, so Y/n decided to go too.

"What happened?!" Makoto asked. Turns out Celeste was the one who screamed. "I-I have been attacked!" Celeste started. "Huh?! By who?!" Hina asked. "I-It was this robot guy, he hit me with this hammer, but Hifumi saw it happen. So the robot took him and left!" Celeste finished. She then pointed at the hammer nearby, signaling it was the one that was used to hit her. "Justice Hammer 1..." Y/n read. "What could it mean?" Makoto asked. Not soon after, another scream was heard.
"Could that be..?" Y/n started. Everyone then ran towards the library, where a bleeding Hifumi was. Toko fao ted due to seeing blood, and Genocide Jack awakened. Hifumi explained how the robot hit him with "Justice Hammer 2". "...Isn't this hammer bigger than the other one?" Y/n asked. "Now that you mention it... it IS!" Makoto stated. "If there's a Justice Hammer 3, whoever gets hit will be in serious trouble..." Y/n said.
Everyone took Hifumi to the Nurse's Office and had him rest for a while. "What to do... what to do..." Genocide Jill started, "Do we split up and look around?" "Our opponemt is very dangerous. We don't know what they're capable of." Sakura said. Celeste's expression had changed. "What's wrong?" Byakuya asked, noticing this. "I saw a shadow! Something moving around at the top of the stairs!" She answered. "Really?!" Hina asked, surprised. "On the second floor, then? YOU BASTARD! YOU WONT GET AWAY FROM ME!! Sakura shouted.
Everyone ran towards the stairs. "He must be around here somewhere... lets all split up and corner him!" Celeste suggested. "But don't take any chances. As soon as you find him, call out and I'll come running." Sakura announced. "Okay, but... what should we yell?" Celeste asked. "Anything! It doesn't matter!" Hina answered. "So, is "haaaah" okay?" The gambler asked. "Haah or dohyaa, it doesnt matter. As long as we can hear you." Hina answered once more, "Leta stop talking and start looking!"
With that said, everyone split up and looked around. Y/n was looking around in the classrooms, and not long after, she heard Celeste scream, "Ha-aaaaaah!" Without thinking, she ran out the classroom and to where the scream came from: The Third Floor.
"Over here, everyone!" The gambler shouted. "Celeste! What's wrong?!" Hina interrogated. "That was a rather... intense scream for someone like you..." Byakuya pointed out. "I saw him! The strange costumed man!" Celeste informed, "He ran off as soon as I screamed. I was blocking the stairs, so he ran further down the hallway and disappeared!"
"He must be down the hall then, lets go!" Y/n said. "Ha...ha....HACHOO!" Toko sneezed. "H-Huh?" Toko was confused. "UNGYAAAAAAAH!!"
A bizarre scream was heard. "That came from downstairs..." Y/n noted. "It must've been Hifumi at the Nurse's Office!" Celeste informed, "This is bad, cmon, we have to go back!"

Artifice: Iysinfyr
Nalulthyn is the young daughter of a duke that is one day asked for a favor. This favor involves the adopted daughter of the duke from a neighboring area. This girl has had a traumatic past and has closed herself off from the world completely and reacts violently when touched by anyone but her personal maid. The duke hopes that a girl close to the age of his adoptive daughter will be what she needs to recover, but things are never as easy as they seem. First is that this adopted daughter is a Terran, a rare being from a different world that has skin and hair as white as snow and an almost alien build. Second is that there is a power to this girl, one that makes her recovery all the more dangerous to Nalulthyn and perhaps beyond. Author's note: This is a soft reboot of Artifice: Tools of the Gods. As I wrote the other story years ago I felt it would be better to do this approach as my writing has changed and improved since then. For now only two characters will return though I might reintroduce others later in the story. Even though this has the gore tag, I don't plan on being excessive with it. Most chapters shouldn't have any. The only reason I have it is to be realistic with the descriptions.
