《Smile》Jasmine

The four rushed into the hospital with Y/n carrying Summer in her arms.
Vanessa ran up to the desk as she tried not to panic. "I-I think my friend is having a heart attack."
The receptionist looked back at Y/n and Summer before pressing a button.
Immediately three people ran from behind the double doors, two pushing a stretcher and one coming straight to Summer.
"Here lay her down." The doctor pointed at the stretcher.
Y/n gently laid her down and the doctor and nurses immediately got to work. As the nurses wheeled Summer to the back the doctor began yelling out orders and checking for a pulse.
Vanessa ran up and stood in front of the double doors.
"Ma'am, you cant block the doors."
Vanessa didn't budge and Y/n sighed walking up behind her. "Nessa," she placed a hand on her shoulder causing her to snap her head into Y/n's direction. "Let's go sit down okay?"
Vanessa glanced at the door once more before slowly nodding.
The waiting room was fairly empty besides two other people.
Y/n, Vanessa, and Jasmine all walked to sit in the chairs closest to the double doors.
Y/n glanced up at Jasmine. "I-It's late and um, you told your parents you'll be back by nine so...Go ahead and go okay?"
Jasmine glanced at Vanessa. "Are you sure?"
She nodded. "Yeah um, I got it here."
Jasmine bit her lip and shook her head as she sat. "I can't do that- I can't leave um...My parents won't mind keeping the kids for longer."
Y/n raised a brow and nodded. "O-Okay."
Jasmine looked at the doors and nodded.
"Was that normal Vanessa?"
Vanessa gulped and nodded. "Yeah, b-but I feel like she was more stressed than she ever was."
"Shit."
Vanessa sighed. "If she dies..."
Y/n struggled to come up with something to say. Death wasn't her strong suit...obviously, and she didn't know what would make Vanessa feel better. "Don't-"
Jasmine cut her off sensing that she was about to say something stupid. "She's going to be okay."
Vanessa rolled her eyes. "How do you know that?"
Y/n grimaced and sat back. Well, I'm happy I stopped talking.
Jasmine looked over at her. "I just do."
Vanessa scoffed. "And if she's not-"
"Stop it with the if shit, if she's not this if she's not that- none of that if shit matters because it's all hypothetical," Jasmine sighed and reached out placing her hand on Vanessa's knee. "When you say anything, you're putting it out into the universe. Being uncertain about whether she'll be okay or not is giving the universe the chance to do whatever it wants. Know what you want and let the universe know too, I know that Summer will be okay, do you?"
Vanessa looked down at Jasmine's hand and slowly nodded as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Yeah."
Jasmine shook her head. "Say it V."
Vanessa smiled softly at the semi-old nickname, the fact that they started to lose their friendship over jealousy and uncertainty... and fucking Y/n upset her a little and made her realize...many things.
"Summer will be okay."
"Boom, now we just wait."
Y/n looked over at Jasmine and met her eyes as she smiled softly. "Better than what I could've said."
They all chuckled and Vanessa sniffed as she closed her eyes and exhaled slowly.
Summer will be okay.
Meanwhile, Summer was in the back and she was starting to open her eyes.

"Okay," the doctor started. "It's not a heart attack, she just fainted from too much stress on the heart." The doctor said as she continued to look at the monitor that showed Summer's irregular heartbeat.
Summer groaned slightly as she slowly opened her eyes.
The doctor smiled down at a confused Summer. "Hey, can you hear me?"
Summer looked around and nodded slowly. "Y-Yes."
"Good, can I have your name? We kind of rushed you in here." The doctor chuckled trying to make Summer feel comfortable.
"...Summer."
"Summer," she nodded. "Beautiful name. Well Summer, I need you to keep talking to me so can you tell me why you passed out? Do you have heart problems?"
"Cognitional...Cogni-
"Cognitional heart disease?" She raised a brow and Summer nodded. "Wow, you're a fighter then, do you know you're a fighter?" Summer smiled softly and the doctor chuckled as she nodded. "Yeah you know, look at that smirk."
Summer hummed and closed her eyes.
"That's fine, you can sleep now, we're going to put you under so that we can make sure everything's okay, is that fine?"
Summer nodded weakly.
The doctor looked over at a nurse and nodded. "Needle."
Back in the waiting room the three were waiting patiently and Jasmines was actually doing an amazing job at keeping Vanessa from crying...
Y/n couldn't help but admire her.
"It's only been an hour so...If they aren't out soon don't panic- never mind."
The nurse walked from the double doors and went up to the receptionist who pointed towards the three.
Vanessa, Jasmine, and Y/n all jumped up and walked over to the nurse who met them halfway.
"Is she okay?" Vanessa rushed out?
The nurse smiled. "Since I'm assuming you're with Summer, yes she's doing great."
Vanessa felt a wave a relief rush over her.
"Thank God." Jasmine mumbled.
"Can I go see her?
The nurse nodded. "Only if one of you can fill out paperwork."
Y/n and Jasmine immediately looked at each other.
"Not it!"
Vanessa rolled her eyes and laughed as the nurse nodded towards the doors. "Right this way."
"Ughhh Jasmine that's not fair." Vanessa heard before the double doors closed behind her.
Vanessa felt good, she always felt good when she found out that Summer was okay but, today was different.
"Here you go." The nurse pushed the door open and Vanessa smiled at her before walking in.
Summer looked up at Vanessa who slowly walked up to her. "You scared me."
Summer chuckled. "Why? This is everyday shit."
Vanessa rolled her eyes and pulled a chair up as she sat next to Summer. "You know, Jasmine really helped me when I was out there on the verge of a panic attack."
"Yeah?"
Vanessa nodded. "And when she wasn't making me laugh," Vanessa met Summer's eyes. "I thought about a lot of stuff."
"Like?"
"Well um, first I thought about Y/n and how Jasmine and I started to drift away because of her- or because of all of us- whatever. Um, then I realized that Y/n is madly in love with Jasmine."
Summer scoffed. "You just realized that?"
Vanessa huffed. "Shut up Summer."
"Hey I almost died I can say whatever."
Vanessa nodded slowly. "You scared me, like I said before, and I realized that I regret a lot of stuff. I um, was blinded by Y/n because she was the one there right after I got away from David. Now, not to say I don't love her because I definitely do but um, I think I pulled a Y/n."

She chuckled. "A what?"
"A Y/n, I just settled for the person I could be with and...not for the person I wanted."
Summer tilted her head. "What?"
"I kind of sat back and thought about my relationship with Y/n- I mean personally it felt um...forced. Like we both settled for each other because it was the safe option," Vanessa bit her lip. "Not only did I realize that but, I realized that I'm in love with you."
Summer's heart raced and Vanessa chuckled looking at the heart monitor.
Summer has been waiting for Vanessa to say that for the longest and honestly, it felt amazing to finally hear it.
"You like that huh?"
Summer blushed and chuckled. "You have no idea," she bit her lip. "S-So what does that mean?"
"It means that I should've realized this a long time ago, it would've saved everyone a lot of heartache but...I-I want to...I need to go after who I want and not who's the safest."
Vanessa bit her lip looking down.
She loved Y/n dearly like a lot and it's going to suck not being with her but...She's finally ready to admit her feelings and not to anybody else but, to herself. She's been lying to herself for the longest and she's finally ready to admit it.
She's madly in love with her best friend.
"I'm ready to take a risk and be with you."
Summer's eyes widened. "W-Wait seriously?"
Vanessa smiled and nodded. "Fuck yeah, I'm in-"
There was a knock at the door and Y/n peeked her head in smiling. "So technically I can't be in here since only one person is allowed so I'll just peek my head in," she waved. "Hi Summer how are you?"
Summer chuckled. "I'm amazing."
Vanessa stood and smiled down at Summer before turning to look at Y/n. "Can we talk?"
Y/n nodded and back away holding the door open. "Of course."
Vanessa walked towards the door and turned to look at Y/n once the door closed.
Vanessa stared at Y/n and then Y/n gasped.
"Nooo wayyy," Y/n chuckled. "You just realized you're in love with Summer?"
Vanessa's eyes widened. "H-How'd you know?"
Y/n shrugged. "Trust me, I know that look."
Y/n looked down and thought back to the night she thought Jasmine was moving away.
Looking back up she raised a brow. "So...What's this mean?"
Vanessa bit her lip. "I really love you Y/n."
Y/n nodded. "I love you too Nessa."
Vanessa sighed. "But, I realized what I've been missing my whole life and...I'm pissed it took me this long to realize it but, I want to be with Summer."
Y/n sighed and nodded. "Fucking bitch."
Vanessa laughed and shoved Y/n's shoulder. "Shut up."
Y/n smiled and nodded. "Well, this works out in my favor." She smirked.
"Oh does it?"
She nodded. "I was going to break up with you anyway," she shrugged. "You ate my cheesecake." They laughed and Y/n sighed as Vanessa smiled up at her. "That damn smile Nessa."
Vanessa bit her lip and sighed. "One last kiss for the road?"
Y/n huffed. "We could've fucked in the bathroom but sure, kiss me, Nessa."
Vanessa chuckled and cupped Y/n's cheeks before leaning up and connecting their lips.
Of course, the sparks flew through their bodies and...It was a nice goodbye kiss.
They slowly pulled away and smiled at each other.
Y/n cleared her throat and backed away. "Well, go get your girl."
Vanessa smiled. "You too."
Y/n chuckled and went to walk away before Vanessa called her.
"It wasn't my idea to use-"
"I know, it's okay no need to explain." Y/n smiled and turned walking out of the double doors and up to Jasmine.
Jasmine looked up. "Hey."
Y/n sat next to her with a sigh.
"You okay?"
Y/n looked over at her. "I just got dumped so...That's nice."
She chuckled. "So nonchalant," she looked over at me. "Your not...upset?"
Y/n hummed and nodded. "Slight ache but, I'll be okay."
"Why'd you two break up?"
Y/n shrugged. "She's in love with her best friend and," she shrugged. "So am I."
No Vanessa's voice doesn't do that to me, granted her smile does but, she doesn't compare.
Not to mention the fact that Quincy was off, I don't even have to hear Jasmine's voice for my heart to race...
All I have to do is think about her.
"I always knew you and Quincy would end up together." Y/n rolled her eyes.
Jasmine looked down. "My career was about to boost and your career was just starting. I didn't really process the fact that I had both of our kids in my stomach because if I'm being a hundred percent honest I thought about how hard you've been working and how hard I've been working that...That I didn't really think about your feelings. I was scared and um." Her voice cracked.
Y/n looked over at her as she wiped away a tear. "There's really not an excuse for what I almost did and I get that you're fucking pissed at me- trust me nobody hates me more than I do for even stepping foot outside that clinic but um," she nodded and looked up at Y/n as tears continued to fall down her face. "I'm sorry for keeping that a secret and I'm sorry that the reason our kids are alive is because the clinic was closed. There isn't much I can say but I'm sorry and-"
"Hey okay stop," Y/n grabbed her hand. "We all make mistakes and it's the fact that you didn't do it okay? I won't sit here and act like I didn't say the shit I said because...I admit I was being an asshole. You understand why that upset me right?"
She quickly nodded. "Yes, and I agree a hundred percent, it doesn't matter if I'm the one having the kids their yours too and it wasn't fair of me to go to that clinic."
I sighed and shook my head. "No no, it's your decision I shouldn't have a sa-"
"In if your kids live or not? Shut up, what you said was completely true. So what 'it's my body' whatever but, you have every say in whether I should've had the kids or not. It's not like your a dead beat, you actually love me and you loved your kids before they were even here so you have a right. It's not fair to act like your opinion didn't matter because if we're honest it mattered as much as mines did. All I'm doing is the hard work but that doesn't mean your input is invalid because you're not pushing them out of your dick." We both chuckled. "Their your kids too and that's part of the reason I felt so shitty because I didn't even think about you and I'm sorry. You have every right to be mad."
"I'm not mad just...upset that I didn't know that but, you didn't go through with it so that's all that matters."
She nodded and sat back in her chair sniffing.
I'm upset but, I can't hate her for it...I forgive her and I'm not going to hold it against her...Well, I'm petty as shit so it might get used against her when it's not such a sensitive topic.
Y/n rolled her eyes and chuckled as she looked over at Jasmine. "Okay we got that out of the way so now, let me make my move yeah?"
Jasmine chuckled and looked at Y/n feeling better now that she got everything off her chest.
Y/n cleared her throat. "I um, I know you have that whole thing going on with Rain or whatever but, I also know you're not scared to be with me anymore."
Jasmine raised a brow and Y/n nodded. "Your nosey ass."
"Shut up, anyways it's up to you if you want to say, fuck you Y/n I really like Rain and want to be with him. Or if you want to say, shut the hell up, of course, I want you. It's completely your choice but just know that-"
Y/n's eyes widened as Jasmine surprised her with a kiss. Y/n's body burst into flames as Jasmine raised her hand and softly caressed Y/n's cheek. Y/n reached out wrapping an arm around her waist trying to pull her as close as possible.
Despite the arm of the chair keeping them inches away.
Y/n groaned and pulled away as she stood and pulled Jasmine up with her before connecting their lips once more.
Y/n felt whole as she felt Jasmine slightly start to smile into the kiss. Y/n's heart raced and she honestly felt like if she didn't pull away soon she'd be the next one being rushed to the back by doctors.
Jasmine slowly pulled away and rested her forehead against Y/n's. "Shut the hell up, of course I want you."
Y/n smiled widely and wrapped her arms around Jasmine's waist and they both laughed as Y/n spun them around.
She stopped and looked up at Jasmine as they both held huge smiles on their faces.
Jasmine cupped Y/n's cheeks and stared into her eyes lovingly.
For the first time in a long time, Jasmine wasn't trying to hide her emotions. She wanted Y/n to see all the love she held for her. She wanted to let Y/n know that she was ready to trust her with her heart because...
...Jasmine knew why she was so in love with Y/n.
She wasn't everyone else, she's unique, she makes Jasmine feel worth it, she makes Jasmine feel loved, she's the only one who can make Jasmine genuinely happy.
Jasmine said once while drunk that her insecurities don't bother her as much because now she has two beautiful kids, however, when she's with Y/n- When she thinks of Y/n...
She doesn't even know the definition of insecurity.
And then, she can't forget that smile she fell in love with.
She leaned down and kissed Y/n once more, this time putting all of her love into that kiss as their hearts exploded and their stomachs went crazy. Jasmine felt like her body was on fire, but a good type of fire.
Like a flame.
That flame you get when you're giving something or someone you're all, that flame you feel when your content and happy...That flame you get when you're in love.
They slowly pulled away and Y/n couldn't help but think...Fucking wow.
But of course, she wouldn't say that because after all...She's unique.
"About fucking time."
Jasmine laughed and rolled her eyes. "Shut up."
"No no no your scared to be with me because I might hurt you right remember?" She mocked causing Jasmine to cover her mouth and roll her eyes.
"I hate you, Dino."
Y/n raised a brow causing Jasmine to slowly lower her hand as Y/n sighed and stared into her eyes for a few seconds before smiling.
"I love you too, Jazzy."

Jordan Leoren – A Tale From The Wizarding World
Jordan Leoren is, unfortunately, not your average 10-year-old boy. He is handsome, from a rich family, and has been a very popular child model and actor since the age of 4. His long golden locks and piercing blue eyes could be easily identified by anyone in England and many across the world...and he hates it. He doesn't want the fame and attention, nor does he want jealous looks from other boys when the girls swarm him. All he wants from life is to explore and discover the unknown. From artifacts and treasures located deep in dungeons to strange glyphs or languages found covering ancient ruins. He longs for adventure and to be free of his constricting schedule. If it wasn't for his parent's proud smiles and expectant eyes, he would have long ago quit and lived normally. He lives a kilometer or so from the small village of Godric's Hollow in his family's manor. This manor has been in his family for generations and they are considered one of the founders of the village. This, and the small-town vibe, basically ensure Jordan cannot go anywhere in the village without being immediately noticed and called for pictures, autographs, or asked to meet people's sons or daughters. Jordan's saving grace is the huge plot of land that his family owns around their manor, and it is his one source of adventure and escape. It is in this large expanse of rolling hills, lush and verdant forests, and rocky crags that he finds a secret. A secret found just days before his 11th birthday. A secret that truly starts his life. No more dreaming of adventure, it is time for him to experience it and discover the mysteries of a strange new world and his family's legacy. The legend of Jordan Godric Leoren is about to begin.
