《Smile》Ninety five

"Hey Y/n, check it out." I frowned slightly as Rain nodded towards the kitchen.
"Okay?" I slowly stood and followed him. "What's up?"
He cleared his throat. "Jasmine told me you two kissed."
I chuckled. "She kissed me yeah, I thought you two weren't dating."
"We're not but, you have a girlfriend."
"Okay?"
He raised a brow. "You don't see a problem with that?"
"The fact that Jasmine kissed me without my permission? I didn't even know she was going to kiss me so what do you mean?"
"Have you told your girlfriend that another woman kissed you?" He crossed his arms.
I scoffed. "That doesn't concern you."
He sighed and lowered his arms. "Okay look, I know I might be coming off a little forward but-"
"A little?"
He shook his head. "Listen, not telling your girlfriend is going to cause problems and I'm genuinely looking out for you and her."
"I appreciate it but, I think I can handle it."
He shook his head. "You don't understand. I need you to tell me that you're going to tell her."
I raised a brow. "Or else?"
"Or else I'm going to tell her and make sure she knows."
Who is this guy?
"Okay Rain." I shook my head and headed upstairs.
This dude can't just come in here and pry in my relationship. Whether he's wrong or not at the end of the day it's my relationship and it's the farthest from being his business.
I walked into my room and pulled out my phone.
Dammit, I should've tried harder to tell her.
I sat on my bed and went to FaceTime as I called Vanessa.
I definitely made a mistake.
"Hi, baby."
I looked down at a tired-looking Vanessa as she rubbed her eyes. "You look like shit."
She smiled softly and rolled her eyes. "I feel like shit."
"What's going on?" I asked as I nervously bounced my foot.
"Summer she um...we had to rush her to the hospital last night because she passed out and," she shook her head. "I don't know she's not good."
"I'm sorry Nessa."
She nodded and smiled through the phone. "How are you?"
I stared at her and admired that smile that still looked good even though she looked like she's been awake for a month.
"I'm um...I'm good."
She raised a brow. "You look like something is on your mind."
"Yeah it um is...I have to tell you something that I've been keeping to myself for a while now and-"
"Hold that thought." She looked away from the phone and I sighed.
"Alright."
Okay Y/n, you have to tell her now. You should've told her a long time ago but, you didn't and there's nothing you can do about that.

Just spit it out and-
"Hey I have to call you back the doctor needs to talk to us."
"Oh okay um-"
"Love you bye."
She hung up.
"L-Love you..." I shook my head and threw my phone onto the bed as I laid back.
Maybe this is for the best I honestly don't think it was the right time to tell her Jasmine kissed me.
My door opened as I closed my eyes and groaned. I felt someone straddle my stomach and I smiled softly.
"Fuck off Quincy."
"Nope, what's wrong with you?"
I opened one eye and huffed. "I should've told her a long time ago."
He nodded. "You should've."
"I'm a horrible girlfriend, I continuously flirt with Jasmine while Vanessa gives me all of her love," I frowned. "I didn't tell her Jasmine kissed me and I...I suck."
He nodded. "You do."
I just sighed as my heart ached slightly at the fact that one, I know she's jealous of Jasmine and two, at the way she might feel when she inevitably finds out about Jasmine and I.
He frowned slightly. "Wow your seriously upset, I mean no comeback?"
I shrugged and closed my eyes again.
He sighed before climbing off of me and laying on my side. "Don't beat yourself up okay? Let's not forget that you did try to tell her countless of times. Also, you didn't kiss Jasmine back-"
"What about the flirting?"
"Well, that...Yeah, that's pretty bad but-"
I sat up and opened my eyes. "I should just break up with her I-I mean she could do way better than me."
He sat up. "Y/n just-"
I began to pace the floor. "I mean s-she was already mentally and physically abused just for me to go behind her back?"
"Y/n your not-"
My eyes started to water. "I'm such an asshole."
"Dude-"
"And now I'm crying- Oh my God I'm a pussy too-" Quincy smacked me- hard causing me to groan and grab my cheek. "What the fuck?!"
He placed his hands on my shoulders. "Y/n you need to calm-" I slapped him back causing his head to turn to the side.
I clenched my hand at the stinging sensation as Quincy slowly looked back at me causing me to jump.
He nodded slowly. "I deserved that," he rubbed his cheek. "We cool?"
I nodded. "We cool."
He sighed and lowered his hands. "Okay now that we're calm," he shook his head. "The fuck are you talking about?"
"What do you mean?"
"You should break up with her? You're going behind her back? You sound stupid."
I gulped and shook my head. "Do I really?"
He nodded. "Yes first, you're not going behind her back. Flirting with Jasmine is wrong but would I go as far as to say you're going behind her back? No. And you don't need to think about breaking up with her. You feel guilty right?"
"Obviously."
"Well, when I cheated on Jasmine I didn't feel guilty until I saw her cry. You're in love with Vanessa and your reaction proves that...Or maybe you are just a pussy but we'll go with the other one."
I chuckled as I sat on the bed with him following. "So because I feel guilty- something I should definitely feel, I shouldn't break up with her?"
"Because what you 'did' is minuscule. I'm a thousand percent sure Vanessa flirts with Summer and your over here about to cry because you flirt with Jasmine? Grow some balls dude. Jasmine kissed you, that's on her. You didn't kiss her back-"
"I didn't push her away-"
"Because it took you by surprise. You liked that kiss," he shrugged. "Oh well, did you kiss her again?"
"No, but-"
"Did you fuck her?"
"No dude but-"
"Then chillll," he nodded. "Granted, I think you should still tell her and granted she might be pissed but, your not a horrible person Y/n," he shrugged. "Your human and you feel emotions just like the rest of us. Everyone handles shit differently and you handled it how you handled it."
I looked down and sighed. "Yeah, I guess."
"Just, try and tell her again but don't act like this because then she'll think more happened."
I chuckled and nodded. "Right, thanks dude."
"That's what friends are for."
-
I tucked a strand of hair behind Summer's ear and sighed as I ran my thumb over her pale cheek. Quickly wiping away a tear the rolled down my cheek I gulped.
I'm so tired of this shit.
She shifted slightly and I quickly blinked away the leftover tears as she opened her eyes and sat up with a groan.
"You need anything?"
She smiled at me and shook her head. "I'm good," she tilted her head. "What did I tell you about crying?"
I scoffed and looked away trying to stop the tears from building back up. "Don't lecture me right now."
She sighed. "We've seen worse baby, I'll be okay."
I clenched my jaw. "Where's the promise?"
"What?"
I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "You always promise me that you'll be okay...Why didn't you promise me this time?"
She looked down and smiled softly. "I um...I just thought I'd stop making so many promises."
The tear dropped and I nodded standing up. "I'll go get you some chips."
"Baby don't-"
"I'll be back." I stormed out of the room and down the hall as the tears poured down my face.
She can't promise me that? Seriously?
She always promises me that so...
I slowed down my steps and leaned against the wall as I slowly slid down it.
She can't leave me- She won't leave me.
I looked down at my phone and smiled softly at the wallpaper of Y/n and I.
I picked up my phone and stared at it before unlocking the phone.
I chuckled at the wallpaper of Summer and I.
Two of my favorite people.
My smile dropped as an unknown number called me. I shrugged and picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey is this Vanessa?"
"Yeah...Who is this?"
"Oh right um...This is Rain, Jasmines...Friend."
"Oh hi, is she okay?"
"Yeah it's not about her it's about Y/n."
I frowned. "Is she okay?"
"Yeah but uh, she hasn't been honest with you and I know it's none of my business but I won't be able to sleep knowing you don't know."
My heart fell. "Knowing that I don't know what?"
"Well..."
-
I laid on my bed as the door slowly creaked open. I slowly sat up as Jasmine walked in with a frown on her face.
"You okay?"
I stood and nodded as I walked over to the crib. "Yeah, I'm fine, just a lot on my mind."
She walked up next to me and raised a brow. "Want to talk about it?"
I looked over at her and shrugged. "I um...I don't know Jazzy. I just feel like a bad person."
"Why?"
"She still doesn't know and I can't tell if I'm being selfish or cautious of her feelings. I don't want her to know but, I know that isn't fair to her."
Jasmine sighed and nodded. "I have an idea, how about we all get together tomorrow and have a talk?"
"I don't think that's a good idea-"
"Trust me a talk between the three of us is long overdue," she looked down at our babies. "We can reveal all the secrets we've been holding back and put everything on the table," she looked back at me. "You can let her know that I kissed you and whatever else you want to tell her or me and she can say whatever she needs to say."
Maybe...Maybe I should ask Quincy first.
"Think about it okay? We've all got stuff that we want to admit."
I sighed and nodded. "Your right, will your parents watch the twins?"
She nodded. "Definitely, I can drop them off and then be here around five?"
Fuck...am I mentally prepared for a talk?
Fuck it, this needs to be done.
I nodded. "Yeah okay good idea um, here let me help with them."
I gently picked up Zion as she picked up Zyarie. I grabbed the diaper bag and threw the blanket over him as we started downstairs.
We made it to the car and got the kids situated before I nodded at Jasmine. "Tomorrow at five?"
She nodded. "Tomorrow at five."
I smiled softly and pulled the door open for her. "Be safe."
"Of course." She climbed into the car and I closed the door behind her.
I slowly backed away as she pulled away. Pulling my phone out my pocket I pulled up Vanessa's contact.
😩💙:
I sighed and pocketed my phone before walking back into my house.
God, please let this go how I want it to.

Contains: Reincarnation, Gods, Immortals, mild RPG/Game style elements, and more. August 2020 Edit: Hello all, Mike here! My goal as of 2020 is to write full time, but I am still a fairly new author (and this is my first real work), so please be patient with me as I learn and grow. The Calculator - Supervillainess Time Loop
What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile. Crossposting on ScribbleHub, SpaceBattles, and Wattpad. Don't mind the "Pre-Rewrite" Volume. It is there for reference until the story catches up to the chapter count via the Rewrite (and to justify the current reviews as there would be no context to them otherwise). If you are a first-time reader, feel free to start from the other Volume.
