"I-Is this bad? I thought you had another week?" I rubbed Jasmine's stomach as she laid back on the seat.
Good thing her dad has this big ass truck.
Her mom turned around and placed her hand on mines. "Calm down Y/n, not every baby is born within nine months. Some babies come earlier and some come later, nine months is just an estimate."
I looked down at a sweaty Jasmine who groaned as she breathed heavily.
"Jasmine hey," Maria caressed Jasmine's cheek causing her to open her eyes. "What did we talk about? Reduzca su respiración."
Jasmine nodded and gripped my arm as she inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly.
"I-Is there anything I can do?"
Maria smiled at me. "Just keep rubbing her stomach right here," she moved my hand to the lower part of her stomach. "She'll be okay."
I nodded and looked down at Jasmine as I massaged her stomach. "Is this really happening right now?"
Jasmine smiled through the pain and nodded. "Ugh," she gulped. "I guess it is."
Quincy leaned over the back of the seat. "Damn how are you still sexy?"
I frowned up at him. "Really?"
He grimaced and sat back then, of course, Travis leaned forward. "So you peed on yourself and now you're having babies," he shook his head. "Mom didn't say this is how it happens."
I rolled my eyes and pushed his face back causing him to fall onto the seat.
"Alright, we're here." Jasmine's dad stopped the car and everyone quickly jumped into action.
I slowly yet impatiently helped Jasmine out of the car as her brother ran towards us with a wheelchair.
She sat in it and her brother turned into fucking Vin Diesel.
"Slow down chico!" Maria yelled as we ran to catch up with him.
Bursting through the hospital doors two nurses appeared out of thin air and immediately ran up to us.
It was like they were summoned by her going into labor.
"M-Mom come with Y/n please-" Jasmine cut herself off as she groaned.
One nurse quickly grabbed the wheelchair and started away with Jasmine as the other nurse turned towards us.
"Okay, mom and Y/n- oh my god your Y/n Y/ln c-can I get an autograph?"
Deadass?
"Of course it's not like my girlfriend is going into labor or anything."
Her eyes widened. "Wow that was so unprofessional of me- follow."
The three of us jogged down the hallway and the nurse walked into a room but I came to a stop outside of the door.
My heart pounded and I gulped looking up at the ceiling.
Maria placed her hand on my lower back. "You got this mom."
I exhaled shakily and nodded as we walked into the room.
So many thoughts were running through my damn head. How much pain is Jasmine in? What if my kids grow up to hate me? Why can't my mom be here to support me?
"Y-Y/n- ahhh."
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Jasmine who held her hand out. Quickly rushing over I grabbed her hand and smiled down at her.
"Wow these babies are ready to come out, your already nine centimeters dilated." The doctor smiled up at us.
Jasmine gripped my hand and groaned as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"Oh my- is I-It too late for an epidural?"
The doctor nodded as she pulled on her gloves. "Yes, I'm sorry."
Jasmine groaned and I wiped her sweaty face.

"J-Just um," I glanced at Maria. "Breath?"
Maria grimaced and my eyes widened as Jasmine damn near growled at me.
"Easy for you to fucking say! Ughhh why'd you get me pregnant ass- ughhhh."
Well, excuse me for trying to help.
"Alright, I'll let you know when to push. Your having twins which means this process will either go quick or very slow." The doctor said.
Jasmine groaned and I shrugged.
"I should let go of your hand since you hurt my feelings."
She smiled and rolled her eyes. "S-Shut the hell up."
I looked down and grimaced as the doctor basically shoved her arm into Jasmine's vagina and felt around.
Oof, maybe if I paid attention in health class I wouldn't be so surprised.
Looking back at Jasmine who was biting her lip and squeezing the living shit out of my hand I sighed.
Let's do this.
-
After about an hour of painfully watching Jasmine suffer, it was finally time.
"Alright, your first baby is crowning. I'm going to need you to get ready to push."
"F-Fucking finally."
I looked over at Jasmine's mom and she nodded over to Jasmine.
Since Jasmine kept hurting my feelings I went and sat my sensitive ass down but now I feel bad for letting go of her hand.
"Soothe her." She mouthed.
I bit my lip honestly still a little scared since Jasmines a literal demon right now. Slowly walking back up to her I softly grabbed her hand.
"You ready?"
She frowned looking up at me before nodding. "Y-You have no idea how much this hurts."
I pouted and got down on one knee. Kissing her hand I glanced down at the doctor as my heart pounded.
Well, I'm ready.
I kissed her cheek. "You got this baby."
I then pecked her jaw and she reached her hand out and cupped the back of my neck.
"Keep doing that." She whispered with her eyes closed.
I smiled softly and kissed her ear before caressing her jaw. "Fuck imagine all the weed you can smoke after you have our babies."
She chuckled softly as she continued breathing deeply.
I rested my forehead on her cheek and inhaled. "Wow, our babies? Jazzy you're literally giving me the best gift ever, thank you so much."
She opened her eyes and slowly turned to face me.
I wiped the sweat off her forehead. "Thank you."
She smiled brightly and nodded. "No, thank you."
"Okay, mom I need you to push."
I quickly nodded. "Go ahead baby, push."
She clenched her eyes shut and grunted as she pushed. "Ughhhhh!"
She dug her nails into the back of my neck causing me to grimace before pecking her nose.
"Okay stop, I need you to breathe in deep and slow."
Jasmine started to breathe in causing her mom to quickly shake her head.
Maria grabbed Jasmine's arm laying her back onto her back. "No no hija, look at me."
Jasmine looked up at her mom as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"Hey it's okay," Maria wiped the tear away. "It'll get better just breath like me."
She slowly inhaled and Jasmine followed along.
"Good now out."
They slowly exhaled.
"Okay, I need a long push now."
Jasmine whined and I chuckled slightly but instantly stopped as she glared at me.
"Okay push."
Jasmine groaned as she started to push.
"Keep going."
Jasmine's face turned red and I was worried she would pass out.

"Okay good job."
Jasmine inhaled deeply as I looked down at the doctor.
She looked up at me and smiled. "Can I see your hand?"
I frowned and reached over as she grabbed my hand. My eyes instantly teared up as I felt a small hand grip my finger.
She let go of my hand and I moved it back trying not to cry.
"I'm no expert- well I am but, I'm assuming that's your daughter."
I looked down at Jasmine who was watching me.
"T-That was our baby Jazzy."
"Okay almost there mom, push one more time."
Jasmine pushed and before I knew it...the sound of a baby's wails filled the room.
Instantly forgetting about Jasmine I stood and looked at the baby wrapped in the blanket. The nurse walked over to me as the doctor continued with Jasmine.
"Want to cut her umbilical cord?"
I looked down at my crying daughter and smiled. "Her?"
The nurse nodded and I sniffed.
"U-Um yeah."
She handed me some scissors and clipped where to cut the cord. "Right there."
I cut the cord and the nurse nodded. "Good job, you can hold her while we get the water running."
I quickly held my arms out and she placed my daughter in them. Since I used to take care of Travis I was fairly good at holding newborns.
Moving the cover slightly I smiled down at my daughter who was still crying.
"Hi baby," her cries instantly got quieter causing my smile to brighten. "I think you were the kickboxer- oh my God we never talked about names," I turned to look at Jasmine. "Jasmine we never came up with na-"
"Y/n if you don't shut the hell up," she growled out. "You get to stand painless while I- ughhh."
I grimaced and looked back down at our unnamed daughter. "You know what? Good job kicking her."
Oh fuck, I'm pretty sure she smiled at me.
My heart warmed as I stared at her. Yep, we're going to have a great bond.
The nurse walked back over holding her arms out. "Okay baby lets get you all cleaned up."
I handed her over to the nurse who cooed and walked over to the sink.
Walking back over to Jasmine I looked down at her. "I-I'm sorry for yelling."
I chuckled. "I'll accept your apology once you have our son."
"Okay, one last push."
Jasmine pushed and just like last time, another baby's cry sounded in the room. This time the doctor handed him to Jasmine. Maria lifted Jasmine's shirt so our son could hear her heartbeat.
Jasmine reached down with a smile on her face. Holding her finger out, he immediately grabbed it.
I kneeled down again and smiled at Jasmine who had a tear rolling down her face.
"You did it baby," I chuckled. "Good job."
She exhaled as her eyes drooped. "Thank you."
"Alright let's get him cleaned up yeah?"
I nodded as the nurse grabbed our son. Jasmine looked over at her mom.
"Mom I did it."
Maria smiled and kissed her forehead. "I told you."
I sighed. "I accept your apology now."
She shoved my face. "Hush."
-
Jasmine and I now sat in her hospital room alone. Everyone decided to go home and sleep but I obviously stayed.
I rested my feet on the bed as our son slept on my chest. Our daughter slept on Jasmine's chest as we were spitballing names.
"Octavia and Octavious?"
Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Why do you keep saying these matching names."
"Because their twins, the names have to match."
Jasmine smiled and shook her head looking down at our daughter. "I don't know how we forgot to talk about names."
I chuckled and looked down kissing our son's cheek. "You know," I whispered in his ear. "I've been having a hard time figuring out who I'm truly in love with, your mommy makes all the females crazy and I'll definitely teach you my ways."
"What was that?"
I smiled up at Jasmine. "Nothing," looking back down at our son I chuckled. "Anyways, with all the females I have feelings for I could never figure out who I loved the most but now? I know I'll never love anyone more than I love you and your sister. So congratulations you two won and this is big since I don't know how to make up my mind."
Jasmine hummed. "Wait you still haven't made up your mind?"
I heard her but, I didn't reply. Sitting up I frowned and placed my finger under my son's nose.
Is he breathing-
"Hey guys," the doctor walked in. "How's ever-"
I shot up. "I-I don't think he's breathing."
"What?" Jasmine sat up frowning.
The doctor rushed over to me and checked my son's pulse before she frowned.
"Okay, can I have him?" I quickly handed him to the doctor. She pressed a button that was clipped to her waist and instantly a nurse rushed in. The doctor handed my son to the nurse as my heart pounded.
"Looks like Asphyxia, get him oxygen now." The nurse nodded and rushed out.
My heart pounded as the doctor turned to me. "We're going to get him oxygen and-"
"Oxygen? What happened?" Jasmine cut in.
I glanced over my shoulder before looking at the doctor. "I can come with right?"
"Of course but mom might have to stay in bed."
I nodded and quickly rushed over to a panicked looking Jasmine. I leaned down and gently pushed her back as she tried to sit up farther.
"Hey hey, I'm not going to tell you to calm down because I'm freaking out too but, you need to take care of our daughter while I take care of our son okay?"
Jasmine's eyes watered as she shook her head. "N-No Y/n what's wrong with-"
"Stop," I pecked her forehead. "Come up with some names okay? He'll need one when he gets better," I kissed my sleeping daughter's cheek before standing up straight. "I love you okay?"
She nodded. "I-I love you too."
Turning I walked back over to the doctor and we rushed out of the room.
"S-Should I be worried?"
The doctor hummed as we continued down the hall. "Well, the nurses here are some of the best-trained hint why I didn't follow him-"
"No," I looked down at her. "Is my son going to be okay?"
She sighed as we stopped outside of a door. "He's in great hands but, if it's what I think it is there's a fifty percent chance he won't make it," she patted my arm. "You can come in just stay behind the glass." With that, she walked through the door.
My heart fell as I shook my head. "Everything will be okay," I walked into the room and walked up to the glass. Wiping away a tear that sneaked out of my eye I watched the nurses and doctor work. "He's going to be okay."
They put a mask over his nose and I gulped. They opened his mouth and stuck a tube in it before taking his pulse again. I watched tensely as his eyes stayed shut. I watched the doctor's shoulders deflate as she glanced back at me before looking at the nurses and shaking her head.
And that was enough for me.
I shook my head and walked out of the room as I hyperventilated. I couldn't fucking watch that, there's nothing I could do which makes that ten times harder to watch.
Leaning against the wall I clenched my eyes shut and inhaled deeply.
"Fuck." I slid down the wall.
This isn't fair, he didn't do anything why-
I groaned and punched the ground before running my hand through my hair.
Letting out a shaky breath I wiped my cheek as a tear slid down it.
Three hours, three hours with my newborn son- the son that doesn't even have a name and now he might-
I shook my head.
No, I can't think like that he's going to be okay.
So why'd the doctor shake her head?
Clenching my eyes together I nodded.
"Okay," I gulped. "Alright, I haven't t-talked to you since I was younger and I know that's like a big no-no but, I need your help," I sniffed and continued. "God please don't take my son away. Don't do it for me either do it for him, he hasn't done anything because he hasn't even gotten the chance to live. This isn't fair, what was the point of getting my hopes up and making me love him if you're just going to take him away? You couldn't be that cruel right?"
I opened my eyes and slowly stood up. "You hear me right? Don't take my son away, please?"
I glanced at the door and bit my lip before slowly opening it and walking back in. I walked up to the mirror wiping my eyes as I looked at my son...
He still had that tube down his throat but, now the doctor looked panicked as she began to pump his chest with two fingers. I looked around realizing they hooked him up to a heart monitor, a heart monitor that flatlined.
Groaning I stormed out of the room once more.
"What the hell?!" Looking up I frowned as my eyes became clouded with tears. "Are you really doing this right now?"
My voice cracked as I bit my lip.
"Please don't do this!"
My heart felt like it was constantly being stabbed. The pain was unbearable as I thought about the possibility of losing my...my son.
I shook my head.
No.
"Mom," my voice cracked as I fell to my knees. "I know your up there with him so ask him why me, why the hell do I have to suffer huh?! Why the hell does my son have to go?! Mom, please don't let him take my son I'm begging you!" I felt arms wrap around me and I shook my head and covered my face. "It's not fucking fair don't take him from me!"
Someone pulled my head into their chest as I sobbed. Inhaling deeply I caught a whiff of what smelled like vanilla...
Summer.
I gripped her shirt as she rubbed my back. "Shhh, breath okay?"
Her voice shook as she continued to whisper into my ear. After a few minutes, I finally calmed down although the pain in my heart didn't subdue.
"I-It hurts Summer," I looked up at her. "It's not fair."
She frowned. "I know it's not and I'm sorry Y/n."
I sniffed. "W-What am I going to do?"
"Well first, he could be okay-"
"His heart isn't beating-"
"Doesn't mean it won't start."
I scoffed. "Thanks for trying to make me feel better but, they said he only has a fifty percent chance."
She wiped my cheek. "Hey, do you believe he'll be okay?"
My lip quivered. "Dammit Summer I'm trying so hard to believe he'll be okay but, I'm too scared."
She nodded. "Trust me I get it but, he needs you even if it's just mentally."
I shook my head. "Summer it's serious I don't know-"
"I have a heart disease Y/n, you know that and you know what the doctors told me after my first heart attack?"
I shook my head.
"They said I only had a month to live and I had my first heart attack when I was ten. You can't give up and not believe that he won't get better. Your his mother which means that no matter what the facts are, you will always believe in him."
I nodded as my heart ached. "I'm just scared Summer."
She nodded. "I never met the little guy and I'm scared too but, I think he'll be okay...do you?"
I quickly nodded. "Yes I do."
"Good, now all we can do is wait."
I looked down and sighed. "Jasmine?"
She nodded. "Vanessa and I came to visit after Quincy told us she had the babies. Shes kind of panicking but, Vanessa is calming her down."
I ran my hands through my hair and closed my eyes.
"You okay?"
I shook my head. "I won't be okay until he is."
God, please let him be okay just-
"Ms.King?"
I snapped my eyes open and looked back as Summer and I shot up as the doctor walked out of the room.
"Please, how is he?" I asked walking up to her.
She sighed.
"Well, I'm sorry..."
