"I should cut your damn balls off." Jasmine smacked my shoulder getting out of the bed.

I shrugged. "It's not my fault I went in raw, you were the one that started to suck me off in the kitchen."

She quickly turned to me and glared. "Seriously?"I rolled my eyes and stood up walking out of the guest room. "The fuck are you going?"

Walking into the main bathroom I pulled open the medicine cabinet and looked for the plan B. "I have some pills for you, don't worry." I said pulling out the box as she walked into the room.

She took the box and looked at the cabinet. "Why the hell do you have birth control pills?"

I smacked my lips. "Because I used to have this special thing called sex with these people known as females and when I had sex with these females sometimes I-"

"Shut up and give me the birth control too." She said popping a plan B in her mouth.

"Damn you want to take both?" I asked handing her the packet.

She nodded putting the pill in her mouth and drinking from the sink. "You can never be too safe, these pills don't always work."

"Right," I put the pills back into the cabinet and frowned at her. "Would having a baby with me be that bad?"

She stared at me for a moment and then sighed walking out of the bathroom. "Yes, for many reasons."

"Like?" I asked following her downstairs.

"Well for starters both of our careers are just starting to take off," she got a rag out of the sink and ran the water putting soap in the sink. "Me shooting a video with Chris Brown and you putting out hit after hit a baby wouldn't do either one of us justice," she picked up our...snacks off the island and placed them in the fridge. "Um, we're both hella young, and plus we don't have feelings for each other."

"What does feelings have to do with a baby?" I asked turning off the water and putting the rag in it.

"We're good friends, having a baby together would most likely cause a lot of...feelings to occur and I really don't need that right now, or ever." She leaned against the fridge and watched me as I pulled the rag out of the water and wrung it out.

"We wouldn't necessarily catch feelings for-"

"Do you have baby fever or something?" She asked taking the rag from my hand and wiping off the island. "Because if you do, stop it, I don't need to get jinxed."

I crossed my arms and leaned back on the counter. "Don't be a asshole of course I don't want a baby right now." I bit my lip looking down. Gosh I'd be terrified to be a parent, what if I turn into my father and I hate my child because it "ruined my chances of success."

"Don't do that." She mumbled coming to wipe the counter.

"Don't do what?" I asked looking up at her.

"That," she pointed at me. "You sigh, look down, bite your lip, and then you start to fiddle with your fingers which makes me feel like I just kicked...Dog."

I chuckled. "Sorry, I didn't mean too I just got lost in my thoughts," I frowned and looked around the kitchen. "Where the fuck is Dog?"

She looked around and then snapped her fingers. "Quincy put him in the backyard."

I nodded. "Right, I'll go get him."

She placed her hand on my chest and stared into my eyes. "Y-You...your okay right, your not mad at me for not wanting a-"

"Jazzy, why would I be mad? Seriously it's not that big of a deal, trust me I'm not ready for a baby either," I leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Now excuse me while I go get my only child."

She nodded and stepped out of my way. "Cool, even though I'm pretty sure you tried to trap me."

I gagged and walked towards the back door. "I don't even want you around now."

"That's not what you were saying when your face was buried deep in my-"

I slammed the door shut and laughed, that girl is something else. As soon as I stepped onto the grass Dog came charging at me with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. Sitting down on the ground I held my arms open causing him to slam into my body. I fell back onto the grass and chuckled rubbing his fat face. "You got big quick dude."

He licked my cheek and I sat up scooting back causing him to lay on his back. Rubbing his stomach I sighed and looked out at the backyard. The cool August air blew by and I shook my head.

"Could you imagine me having a baby Dog?" I asked looking down at him as he tilted his head. "Yeah me either, I mean what would I even be to the baby, mom or dad?" I bit my lip. "I mean I probably couldn't even reproduce, I'm obviously some sort of mistake and I have so many problems mentally and physically. My family is fucked shit, the world is fucked why would I want to bring my child into this world? You know Dog, sometimes I feel like I was born just to make peoples lives worse."

He whined and snuggled his face into my stomach. "No seriously, what if Jasmine actually gets pregnant? Those pills aren't a hundred percent. She would have to put her life on hold all because I couldn't pull out. Yeah, I would have to stop with the music for a while but I could always get right back to it," shaking my head I sighed. "Let's just hope she's not pregnant," he whined again and growled softly. "Did you just- I could always buy you a sibling no need to turn into Cujo." He jumped up and licked my face. "Okay I get it, you want a brother or sister, I got you but, they'll have to be a dog too."

I stood up and wiped my face opening the back door. Damn, I really just had a conversation with a dog. "Your a great listener dude." I said looking down at him. Dog looked up at me and gave me one of those dog smiles and then he...winked?

I frowned and watched him as he walked into the house. Is-Is Dog magical? I never actually asked Quincy where he got Dog from...

Nah, he's just a dog.

"You got the job?" I asked my mom.

She nodded drinking her water. "Yep, I start Monday."

I frowned and looked at Travis who was coloring the kids menu. "How will Travis get to school?"

"I work from eight to eight, so I can take him to school but he'll have to catch the bus home." She said.

Travis groaned. "Yeah I have to ride the bus with all of those kids."

I chuckled. "I feel you, the kids on the bus can be annoying."

He looked up at me and frowned. "I didn't know buses existed when you were younger."

My mom laughed and I rolled my eyes. "First of all mom you should take offense to that too, if he thinks buses weren't around when I was younger imagine what he thinks about when you were younger." She instantly stopped laughing and glared at me. "And second Travis, your literally the smartest dumbest kid I know."

He rolled his eyes. "I know you are but what am I?"

"Ohhhh," my mom said. "Good one Trav."

I smacked my lips. "Favoritism at its best, you know that so called come back sucked."

"Just like you." My mom smirked.

"Ohhh, Good one mom," he gave my mom a high five and pointed at me. "Ask the waitress to get you some ice for that burn."

I laid my head on the table and groaned. "Hardy har har." Glancing up I smiled softly. They've been way happier, from what I know my dad- Craig, hasn't hit my mom for a while. "So, how have you been?"

She smiled at me and rubbed Travis's head. "We've been great Y/nn, we're pretty happy."

"I can tell." my smile got bigger. Looking out into the parking lot I spotted a car, the car. About a week ago I bought my mom a new car and I'm so fucking excited to give it to her. "Um, will you be taking the bus to work?"

"Yeah I'll-"

"Actually I don't know why I asked, you have a car." I sipped my lemonade trying to hide my smile.

Travis shook his head still coloring. "Dad has a car but, he doesn't let us use it."

I chuckled. "I'm not talking about that beat up Kia I'm talking about your Cadillac."

She frowned. "Y/n, what the hell are you talking about?"

My eyes widened. "Oh right you don't know yet, I bought you a car."She frowned her eyebrows and shook her head. "Shall we go get it?" I stood up and started towards the door.

I heard my mom and Travis stand up and grab their stuff. "Slow down Y/n!" Travis yelled. I chuckled and stopped at the door holding it open for them.

"Y/n, did you actually buy me a car?" My mom asked grabbing my arm.

We walked to my car and I smiled leaning against it. "Remember when we pulled up and I asked you if you liked that car?" I nodded next to me.

"No way!" Travis ran towards the car and my mom turned towards me with watery eyes.

"Y/n-"

"I told you one day, I'll be able to take care of you and Travis, this car is a start," I shrugged. A tear rolled down her cheek and my heart clenched. "Mom don't cry." I pulled her into a hug and rubbed her back.

"You shouldn't have to do this for me." She sniffed squeezing me tighter.

"I want to, you've been taking care of me my whole life, let me take care of you now," I leaned back and looked down at her. "I get my first check from the record label tomorrow so I decided to spend the money that I already had, and if it makes you feel any better the check I'll be getting will cost more than this car."

She nodded and wiped her cheek as Travis came back up to us. "Mommy are you okay?"

"I'm prefect baby," she looked back at me. "Thank you so much Y/n."

"Don't thank me, just think of it as me repaying you for all the money you've ever spent on me," I shrugged pulling the key out of my back pocket and handing it to her. "Get in."She took the key and walked to the car unlocking the door and getting in with Travis in the back. "Drive around, go see a movie or something just, enjoy your new car and call me when you get home." I handed her a hundred dollar bill.

"This is too much I honestly don't know what to say other than thank you." She grabbed my hand.

"You don't even have to say thank you mom seriously, doing this for you makes me feel a thousand times better," I smiled. "Now stop being a crybaby and go have fun."

"Watch it," she chuckled and smiled. "I love you sooo much." She leaned up and kissed my cheek.

"I love you too mom," looking to the backseat I smiled at Travis who was looking around in awe. "You still staying with me next Friday right Trav?"

"Only if you buy me a car this cool." He looked at me.

"Of course I'll buy you a car, what kind?" I asked.

He gasped. "Um, a Lamborghini."

"Of course, I'll have it when you get to my house on Friday." I chuckled.

He glared at me. "You best not be lying to me."

"No sir I'm not," I shook my head. "Love you kiddo."

"Love you too." He said.

I stood up straight and said bye to my mom before she pulled off. Man, being able to buy something as big as a car for my mom makes me feel like a billionaire. I sighed and walked back to my car. One day I'll be buying her a house so she can get away from that bitch who calls himself a man. One day she'll be safe and happy.

One day she'll be free.
