Here's an early update because I'm feeling generous.
-
"Hey I was looking for- why are you crying?" Jasmine asked grabbing my arm.
I shook my head. "Don't worry about it, where's the drinks?"
"No, no drinks tell me what's wrong." She said pushing me back as I tried to walk away.
"Jasmine leave me alone." I rolled my eyes and went around her.
She grabbed my hand. "Okay back upstairs we go." She walked upstairs pulling me with her and then we entered my room. Sitting down on my bed she pulled me next to her and turned to me. "What happened and who the hell made you cry."
I bit my lip and looked down. "Summer broke up with me."
She scoffed. "You two weren't even dating, you were crying over that?"
I shook my head. "It's dumb I'm being a bitch."
"Tell me what she said." She grabbed my hand.
"Well she's leaving the country for five months because of me, she's still in love with Vanessa and she never had feelings for me, I mean she literally told me she doesn't love me and to just move on," I bit my lip. "No big deal really."
Jasmine clenched her jaw. "She's missing out, trust me."
I shrugged and stood. "I know, like I said no big deal."
"You loved her didn't you?" She asked.
I nodded. "Yeah that much is obvious."
She came to stand in front of me and sighed. "I'm sorry she's a dumbass and I'm sorry she just broke your heart. I can see that what she said is getting to you but, you gotta stop that. Don't let her ruin you, it's one girl and there will be a million others."
"You don't get it, I can't just flip some switch that'll make me fall out of love with her," I sighed.
She raised a brow. "But, don't I get it?" I frowned. "Same thing just happened to me Dino, you think I'm over Quincy all ready?"
I sighed. "Yeah sorry, I forgot about that."
"It's cool, your hurting right now and your mind is all over the place. I know how much it hurts to get your heart broken and I know how shitty you must feel to just now be finding out you were being used but, your not alone," she grabbed my hand. "Don't let your emotions eat you up and break you down, talk to me and I'll listen to every damn syllable."
"Thanks Jazzy," I looked down at our hands. "You know I'm starting to think that I'm just not good enough, I mean I basically begged her to stay with me."
"Don't start with that depressing shit, that's not allowed," she tilted my chin up. "Just because one girl is a fucking dumbass who's too deep in her feelings for someone else doesn't mean your not good enough."
"Yeah," I nodded.
"You believe me right?" She asked.
"Of course," I said.
She hummed. "Does Vanessa know that Summers in love with her?"
"Possibly, how hard could it be to figure out," I shrugged.
"It's pretty easy to hide your feelings from someone," she mumbled.
"Even people your that close to?" I asked.
"I think that makes it even easier to hide your feelings, you know that person like the back of your hand which makes it easier to hide things from them." She said.

"How do you know so much about it, who are you hiding your feelings from?" I leaned towards her raising a brow.
She smiled softly. "None of your business."
"Are you secretly in love with me Jazzy?" I whispered.
"No, I think it's literally impossible for me to feel anything other than disgust for you," she scoffed.
I pouted. "Don't be a asshole I just got my heart broken..." I frowned and looked down. "I just got my heart broken," I whispered and looked back up at her. "Ouch."
She sighed and pulled me into her. "I'm going to kill her before she leaves," she stroked the back of my head as I snuggled it into her neck wrapping my arms around her. "I'm so sorry Dino, I swear you'll find the one but, you gotta get all your mistakes out of the way before you do."
I nodded and exhaled heavily. "This is literally my tenth time getting my heart broken, I'm only twenty I should be fucking every female I see not falling in love and then getting my heart ripped out," I turned my head meeting her eyes. "I fall in love way to quick."
She nodded and held my cheek. "First, let's not catch an STD because your hearts broken, sleeping with too many girls is just gonna cause problems," I nodded. "And I know, I've been there for half of those heartbreaks and all those relationships have something in common." I frowned. "You always fall in love first, rather the girl was actually in love with you and moved away like Lilly or she cheated on you like that bitch Karla, you always fall in love first, take a minute and just think next time you catch feelings for someone."
I bit my lip and looked away. "I'm not amazing at controlling my feelings."
She nodded. "And, why do you think that?"
"Because they all fail so when I feel something for someone and think they feel something for me I instantly want them, I just want to be loved differently than a friend or family member loves me," I chuckled looking back at her my head resting on her shoulder. "You damn therapist."
She smiled and trailed her hand down to my neck. "Make them fall for you first and make sure they want you."
"But, what if I can't help it?" I asked.
"Maybe I should re word this, be careful who you give your heart to, you can't help who you fall for..." She glanced at me lips. "Sadly," clearing her throat and shaking her head. "Point is, be careful, you might fall in love but be aware of their feelings too."
I nodded smiling. "You want to fall in love with each other? I know you wouldn't hurt me."
She chuckled. "Nah, you have wayyy too many problems."
I rolled my eyes and sat up straight. "Do you want to get out of here?"
She smiled. "Yes, I would love too Y/n, I have a headache from all this music."
"Great, let's sneak out of my birthday party and go grab a late night snack to eat in the park," I stood up grabbing her hand. "Ohhh, maybe we can buy some Christmas lights and plug them into those little outlets at the park."
"Kind of sounds like a date," she raised a brow.
I scoffed. "You fucking wish, let's go."

"Grab those sour patches," Jasmine pointed at them.
I grabbed them and tossed them into the cart. "Jazzy can we go now?" I groaned.
"Stop complaining and wait," she rolled her eyes and continued pushing the cart. "We need drinks and then we can go."
I groaned louder and stepped in front of the cart stopping her. "Get in."
"What?" She asked.
"Get in, your moving too slow," I picked up the things in the cart do she could get in. "You ass is flat so you shouldn't have a problem getting in."
She went to say something then stopped. "Don't hit her, we're trying to make her feel better," she mumbled before climbing in and I placed the snacks on top of her.
I walked around and grabbed the cart. "You ready?"
"As long as I don't get hurt, I'm fine," She opened her Cheetos. "Let's go Dino."
I leaned over the cart coming face to face with her. "I would never hurt you," she smiled and I sat up. "Let's go!" I yelled and ran down the aisle pushing the cart.
"Wall!" She yelled.
I made a sharp right and went down the drink section. "Let me know when to stop!"
She slightly sat up and chuckled. "Stop!" I yanked the cart to a stop causing her to fall back into it. "I almost hit my head you ass."
"Almost doesn't count," I bent down catching my breath. "What drink do you want?"
She hummed. "Snapple Apple and a Pineapple Fanta."
"Good choice," I walked towards the freezer panting and grabbed the drinks.
I heard a gasp and quickly turned around. "Oh my God, your Y/n Y/ln," two girls who looked about 17 walked up to me.
"Um, you know me?" I glanced at Jasmine.
"Of course, Honesty is amazing and Normani tweeted you." The girl to the right smiled brightly.
"I know right, that was awesome." I exclaimed and Jasmine chuckled from inside the cart.
"I'm Sam and this is my best friend Layla." Sam said.
I smiled. "It's great to meet you two."
"It's great to meet you," Layla said. "Okay, my sister is impatient so we have to leave like now but, keep up the good work your voice made me-."
"Nope," Sam put her hand over her mouth.
I chuckled. "Thank you."
"Could we have a picture?" Sam asked.
I nodded. "Of course," Sam pulled out her phone and handed it to me as they stood on each side of me. "Now this is my first picture with fans, in a few years you two can sell this for millions of dollars."
They laughed and I held the phone up taking a few pictures. "Thank you so much." Layla said.
I smiled. "Of course, have a good night."
They smiled and turned walking away. "Ugh she's fucking hot." Layla said.
"I know right, was that Jasmine Ortiz in the cart eating Cheetos because same." I heard Sam say.
I looked at Jasmine and held a huge smile on my face. "That was fucking amazing, I feel so accomplished."
She smiled and nodded. "Just wait until you put out your next song, your fucking talented Y/n you deserve so much attention."
I stood at the end of the cart and leaned forward. "Jazzy I'm going to cry."
She chuckled and reached forward cupping my cheek. "Please do, I really want to see you cry."
I rolled my eyes and stood up straight. "Love you too."
She smirked. "Now, let's go to the park."
"Yes ma'am."
-
"Thank you by the way," I turned my head in Jasmines lap looking at her. "You made me forget all the bullshit that happened tonight, you made me feel better."
"Don't thank me, making you feel better made me happy," she smiled down at me. "And not because I love you or anything but because it was my good deed for the day."
She shivered and I chuckled sitting up. "Right, you cold?"
"Kind of," she mumbled wrapping her arms around herself.
"Come here," I held my arms out for her. "I emit a lot of body heat."
She chuckled scooting towards me, she laid in my arms and rested her head on my chest. "Yeah I know."
Laying my hand on her hip I sighed. "Look at us getting along."
She chuckled. "I know right, it's kind of weird."
I looked down at her. "Whatever you love this."
She looked up at me smirking. "You think?"
I nodded. "I know, I can see the sparkle in your eyes."
She raised a brow and held eye contact with me for a moment. "Pretty sure it's just the Christmas lights."
I hummed. "Right I forgot about that."
She bit her lip and looked back down. "You know, I think Summer gave you good advice."
I frowned. "Really? Like what?."
"Moving on and falling for someone else obviously," she shifted. "I hope you weren't planning on waiting for her or anything."
I sighed looking down. "I um, I probably was."
She scoffed sitting all the way up. "Don't waste your time on her Y/n."
"I don't want to but, I can't really help it." I shrugged.
"Don't be a dumbass, let her go just like she let you go," she said shaking her head.
I clenched my jaw. "Sorry I don't want to use someone like she used me."
"Who said anything about moving on with someone else, just get over her." She said.
"It's not that damn simple," I rolled my eyes.
"I know that, but it's going to be even harder if you don't try," she said. "Summer is going to come back and tell you the same thing she told you tonight, she doesn't love you and your still going to want her which is going to lead to you getting hurt again."
I bit my lip as wave of sadness hit me. "You don't know that, maybe she just needs some space."
She chuckled. "Your literally going through the five stages of grief."
I shook my head. "No, I'm just making my point that your wrong."
"Whatever Y/n." She leaned back onto the tree turning away from me.
I sighed as the area around us went silent. I know she's right, I know I have to move on but dammit, this is going to suck. "Well it was fun getting along for a few minutes."
She chuckled. "Yup, we can't go longer than fifteen minutes without fighting."
"Yep..." I trailed off reaching for her hand. "Your right though, I need to move on."
She intertwined our fingers and looked at me. "Please do Y/n, don't get hurt again especially not by the same person because I can't kill her twice."
I laughed. "I'll try to move on, will you help me?"
"Depending on how you want me to help," she raised a brow.
"I'll let you know," I smirked.
"I'm not sleeping with you Y/n." She rolled her eyes.
"Mhm, remember this moment when your in my bed scream-"
She hit my arm. "I really hate you."

Damn everybody thinking Y/n is going to become a fuckboy...y'all know damn well Jazzy won't let that shit slide.

8 170A Requiem For The End
Yuga wakes up on a cold, frigid land entirely covered in snow. Where was he? Who was he? Neither of these could he remember but he didn't have time to think of it, he could tell danger wasn't far. A quick death if he failed to avoid it. It was fast approaching and much as he tried to escape, it quickly caught up with him. Luckily he had survived, but was he just lucky or was there something more to him.....? A Requiem For The End is a fantasy story set in a world.......well, quite different from most stories you might have seen (I honestly don't know how to better describe it). Early into the story (prologue) the world feels elusive because you slowly learn about it through the eyes of Yuga. As you read on questions may arise in your mind and mysteries will present themselves. The answers to them will come the further you read. I'd like to think the plot is a bit larger than the average and same goes for the world building. If you find this story intriguing then all I can say is - There's a lot for me to tell, hop on?
