Afternoon.

He shot the gun straight in that man's chest, an evil laugh left out his mouth. He kicked his stomach, the already shot man winced in pain.

"This is for betraying me, you traitor", he spat out the words and shot two more bullets in his head making his body lifeless.

"Dump him somewhere, he deserved that", he mumbled wiping the red liquid from his hand and walked out of the dark dungeon with his same pride.

He was the KING... not the world's but that country's. Mr. MOHAIB KHAN. The Mafia boss is a better word to describe him. His personality is damn dominating to send shivers down many spines. Whenever he walks, people not only bow their heads but some even pass out for few seconds in fear. That country fears him even the president.

Liars, traitors and fraud people can never skips his punishment. He's the BOSS after all. He loves all the respect he gets but beyond his imaginations people sometime loath his existence, his bossy attitude irritates them.

His good looks are enough to make girls fall on their knees but he never pay any heed to them. He uses them for his pleasure but his work and position matters more to him. His sharp features and icy blue eyes gives him one dominating aura around him. He is a hot boss.

The greatest businessman, his business benefits the country so the country treats him like the BOSS.

He's an arrogant and rude bastard. The cold hearted man who can use guns and fits in really good manner like he killed one traitor right away. But a family less man he's because he doesn't need anyone for creating such boundaries for him. He's a free soul with black heart.

The car was running fast on that already jammed road, people were giving spaces to the BIG BOSS. He was driving himself accompanied by many cars of his guards. A red signal he saw and groaned in frustration, many cars were already parked before the zebra crossing, passerby were walking slowly, an old man passed in front of his car and dropped off his tomatoes from a shopper in his hand. He tried to pick it up but the signal turned green, Mohaib pressed the horn making the old man more muddled, the old man eyed his tomatoes with sadness and started walking off but before Mohaib could press the accelator a girl appeared in front of his car showing a hand gesturing him to stop. His windows were tinted black, she didn't see the man inside. Mohaib raised his brows.

"Don't you dare move, can't you see uncle accidently dropped his things, instead of helping him you're pressing your horn, you rich spoil brat", she shouted looking straight at the black windscreen. Mohaib let out a humourless laugh on her guts.

She's welcoming her death.

She helped uncle to crossed the road and then crouched to the ground to picked the tomatoes, putting them in the shopper she gave it back to uncle and waved him good bye. Mohaib found her an entertaining piece. He was eyeing her with so much enthrallment. A girl with guts in my country. He saw her coming in his direction.

"Mr. Whoever you're, just listen to me carefully, never ever show your b****y attitude to older people otherwise I'll punch your not so handsome face. Idiot", she talked with a stern tone through the black window. He smirked and opened the lock of the car's gate.

The people had already gathered around to watch the show. Her hands were resting on her hips and an angry expressions on her face. He stepped out with his same grace and pride standing tall, towering her small petite form. He again smirked dumping his hands in his pants pockets. The thing that blew off his mind was that her expressions didn't even change after coming across the face everyone fears. She tilted her head to one side with narrowed eyes as if reading his face and then to other side making him raise his brows, she was cute. Till the time she was scanning his features he also scanned her.

Her small face had big eyes with big lashed, a small nose and plump lips. Her skin white and cheeks with a hint of red shade. Head covered with a hijab and body with some random clothes. A shirt reaching her thighs and jeans folded from the end, white converse in her feet and an old knapsack around her shoulders. She looked like a student. Her black eyes were bored in his icy blue ones.

"Done checking me out?" He smirked leaning against his car. She smirked back, he raised his brows. The girl was weird.

"You were doing the same", she shot back putting the chewing gum in her mouth. His expressions were now hard but he didn't say anything.

"BIG BOSS", she snickered. He eyed her with straight face.

The girl standing in front of BIG BOSS always loath his existence, she find him one unfair man living in their country and ruling it on his own. She was not like those typical bi***es to fall on her knees for his good looks. She was a social worker, a girl who think justice comes first before everything, no one's superior over other then why this man thinks himself as one boss. Damn with him.

"Listen whoever you're I'm not scared of you, the thing I'm here to tell you is that don't you ever do that what you did to that uncle, your constant horns would have caused him heart attack, learn to have some patients. If you have no then get some classes", she snapped back with still angry voice but her baby voice made his lips stretched in a small smile. Now this time she raised her brows.

"Are you happen to insult me in the public?" He asked after a while. They were now surrounded by almost half of the town's people.

"Yes!", she answered making him rolled his eyes.

"Don't you have any idea what will be the consequences?" He leaned in and whispered. She didn't step back but kept her eyes bored in his.

"You're gonna kill me, then do it if you have enough guts", she smiled back, a sarcastic one.

"Hahaha... damn you're so naive", he laughed out loud throwing his head back a little.

"Not more than you BIG BOSS", she again spoke emphasising 'big boss'.

"You know very well how to talk back, no?" He spoke with sarcasm in his tone.

"Yes to the people like you", she shot her reply without wasting a single second.

"Move aside... ", a voice came out of the crowd. The heads turned in its direction, a lady of around 40s appeared and her expressions became fearful on witnessing what she never ever thought to witness. Her face turned pale.

"I'm so sorry big boss... it's a mistake. Please forgive us. She's such a mannerless girl, let's go home I'll teach you what manners are", the lady spoke in an apologizing tone but soon it became threatening for the girl. She was dragging the girl along but the girl was protesting.

"STOP", his demanding tone created silence around.

"Name?" He asked receding the distance between them.

"Why?" She questioned.

"Are you scared to tell me?" He asked with a smirk.

"Zarnish Quraishi, and I'm not scared of you", she snapped fingers in front of his face.

"Hmm! Such a nice name for an ill mannered girl. We need to have some talks later", he said while leaning back standing tall.

"I'm a busy person I have no time for the fools like you", she lashed the words towards him and walked away jerking away her hand from the grip of that lady.

"I'm so sorry for her behaviour. Please forgive us", the lady kept apologizing but his eyes were glued on her retreating back. He saw her picking an empty beverage can from the footpath and dumping it in the garbage can. He kept looking in her direction until she disappeared from his sight.

"She's gonna pay for this", he mumbled before slipping in his car and drove away.

Zarnish, an independent girl who's a social worker, why? because she couldn't study. Why she couldn't study? because she had not enough money. When she was just 11 her parents passed away in a car accident, no siblings she had, she was the only child. Her cruel so called family didn't even take her in their proximity, but her one aunt found an advantage in keeping her with them, she made her do all the household chorus without even paying her. Zarnish had no choice but to accept her fate. She's now living in the store room of her aunt's house. She gets food whenever she completes her work. In mean time she does social work. She's an independent girl but having no support of anyone she couldn't really stand for her rights. All she's waiting for the right time to come. She had hope and she wished it to fulfil. Her basic aim of life is to spread happiness and colours in everyone's life. To make them feel that they're the best. She's succeeding at her job.

Evening.

He landed another punch on the bag, it's been three hours since he's boxing with the bag, his hands were itching but he was angry. Furious for being publicily insulted by an ordinary girl. This must be the news on the fu****g media.

His shirt was drenched in sweat, his veins were popping off his arms and forehead, her face wasn't leaving his mind, her voice was echoing in his ears. Her eyes he could see on the boxing bag, he punched it again. He threw away the gloves in rage and barged in the bathroom with towel on his shoulders.

Walking out in his towel around his lower abdomen he picked his cell from his bed and dialled a no. of one of his mistress. He was in need of pleasure.

Evening.

A loud slap echoed in the silent lounge. She stood with head bowed down gulping in the anger boiling.

"Are you out of your fu****g mind, you manerless moron", her aunt shouted on her face.

"I wish he would kill you soon", she mumbled the last part.

"Mom.. please don't shout, this bitch deserves a death, she's already the pain in our neck. Don't shout and ruin your health", Farah, Zarnish's cousin butt in and made her mom sit.

"He will destroy us all", she cried.

"Why are you even scared of him?" Now Zarnish spoke and received another slap, not from aunt but uncle.

"Don't you have any idea what he would do to us... get out of our house before he lay his finger on us", uncle screamed and dragged her towards the main door. She didn't protest but silently walked out. After a while a bag was thrown out and the door was slammed shut on her face. She was not upset instead happy to be free of them but where to go now, this worried her.

She was sitting under one of the bus shelter, people was giving weird glances to her as if they had recognized her as that brave girl who messed with their big boss in afternoon. She glared at them and walked past them towards the thick forest. She sat on one of the cut tree trunk with her chin resting on her fist. She was lost in the thoughts and kept thinking where to go now until she felt some presence around, a bright light fell on her eyes blinding her vision, she stood from her place and a small smile crept up her lips on seeing her favourite girl, Sameen. She had a torch in her hand. The girl was her best friend though she was only 7, a down syndrome patient, Zarnish used to spend a lot of time with her. She crouched in front of her when Sameen wrapped her small arms around Zarnish's neck, she hugged her back. Sameen took her fingers and dragged her towards the old lady who runs one of the orphanage where Zarnish has been volunteering for long.

"I know why you are here at this time, they must have disowned you?" The aunty spoke with sympathy in her voice.

"No not at all, I disowned them, they're yuck", she pouted making aunty smiled.

"Let's go with me", aunty offered her, she smiled back.

"Thankyou so much", Zarnish thanked the old lady who patted her cheeks and walked off to the orphanage.

Now Zarnish had found a shelter to live but would she be able to peacefully survive in the country ruled by BIG BOSS after messing with him?
