Writers POV

"The years didn't do you any good, nonetheless, I gonna have fun killing you." She snarled and ran straight at the man, who had just gotten to his feet, at full speed.

She was in front of him before he could steady himself on his legs, landing a nasty powerful blow on his face followed by another on his abdomen. He grunted and attempted to block her attacks, but what could he do when The Mighty Reaper was in thirst for blood?

"Why have you gotten so slow?" She asked with a blank face.

Her simple blows were enough to knock him off balance and take away his chances to attack or defend. He was struggling to stay on his feet as blows were thrown at him one after the other. As another blow was coming his way, he raised his sword to defend himself, but she grabbed his hand and threw him to the forest floor with a flip. She walked closer to him as the swords fell from his hands. He was lying on the ground, breathing heavily, with cuts and blood on his face, making it difficult to identify him. She took up the swords and swung them in her hand, saying

"Tsk tsk tsk. Look how you're lying on the ground. Aren't these the same swords from that night? I've got to say you sure took good care of them." She ran her finger over the sharp blade and returned her gaze to him.

"Only to be killed in my hand from the very sword," she said as she lifted the swords, which were engulfed in deep blue flames. He saw a mischievous look on her demonic face as he looked at her completely black eyes, waiting to die. The swords were lifted into the air, and one of them pierced his body, ripping his thigh muscles.

She laughed as he screamed at the top of his lungs.

"You didn't think I would kill you so easily now did you?" She took another step closer to him, and growls and snarls surrounded her.

"I see you brought your minions but you do know that they won't be able to hold me back."

"I know but they gotta serve the purpose of their existence. And I wish to finish what I started all those years ago," he smirked through gritted teeth and got up from the ground taking out the sharp blazing sword out of his thigh. The wound on his leg started healing and he prepared himself to attack.

"And I wish to start again by slaying you demon!" He raised his sword, and his followers all attacked her at the same time. Their eyes were bright red, and their stance was predatory and wild. They had the appearance of vampires, but they were nothing like the old ones. They appeared to be sculpted from wild beasts. She stood in the center of their attack zone, her gaze fixed on their leader. When the first vampire appeared, she grabbed its head and quickly dragged out its spin, tossing it away as if it were garbage. She easily beheaded and killed the vampires one after the other. She needed to finish with them as quickly and efficiently as possible as the main battle persists. As she stood in the middle of the blood-soaked ground surrounded by hundreds of dead spineless, headless vampires, her porcelain skin was adorned with bright red blood. She threw away the last dead vampire, and the man in front of her began to clap.

"Wow, that was a great show! Now let's dance!" he exclaimed, tilting his head and she stood straight looking at him with cold eyes. They both started running towards each other, he with a sword and she with nothing.

He strikes his sword with full force, and she dodges the attack by moving right behind him. He strikes without looking back, and when she dodges, he throws a kick that lands directly on her abdomen.

"I thought I was the slow one here." He returns his gaze, and she stands tall, shaking off his attack.

"But I gotta say, even though you took your looks after your beloved mother, you're still nothing like her." He pulled out another of his swords and swung them together, aiming for her head. She evaded them, but he turned his sword around and struck her neck with the back of it, followed by another kick. Throwing her a few feet away on the ground.

"You are pathetic!" He smirked as she stood up on her feet.

"Exactly like your father! That pathetic low life stole her from me and left this world leaving behind pathetic filthy excuses like you!" His eyes glowed with anger and hatred. His words shook her demon from the inside and she struggled to take her control of the darkness that was fighting to be free again. She shook violently and pushed the demon away with all her might. After a while of struggling, she regained control and growled.

"He wasn't a low life, but you are; because of you, I am here, and they are dead."

"Don't act so innocent now, Princess. Remember, you were the one who killed them, being the pathetic child you were, losing control of your own self." He clutches his swords tightly and growls once more.

"Like you did today," he said, smirking.

At his words, Ariel was once again thrown back as her demon took back the ounce of control she had. Smoke surrounded her form, and then, seemingly out of nowhere, fire besieged her. A dark aura surrounded her being, her dark midnight hair flowed wildly even though the breeze was still.

Her demon took complete control of her, and all she could do was stare out through its eyes at the horrifying reality. His smirk faded, and she saw fear in his dark orbs. She finished her transformation and resembled nothing less than the devil.

"But you didn't expect me to be the same pathetic child now did you?" Her voice was a guttural growl and dark. He stumbled to his feet and tightened his grip on his sword. The dark pertical she was surrounded by molded and formed a sharp dark sword in her hand. They fought, they fought like there was no tomorrow, they fought for vengeance, they fought for blood. As they fought, the forest was quiet and still, holding its breath. Every dangle of their swords, every sound of the sharp blade cutting through their skin was audible. Her final powerful blow sent him gliding across the hard forest ground and crashing into a tree. She stood before him, adorned with cuts all over, while he was bleeding profusely from the wounds her swords had inflicted.

"Now that's how you should look every day. Bathed in fresh blood, eyes filled with desire for more and the glorious aura that surrounds your being. What a beautiful sight to see. Just like your mother," he said, his breathing ragged and a sinister smile on his face. She gave him a cold stare, her face emotionless. She raised her sword and drew it closer to his throat.

"How do you want to die?"

"I wouldn't want to die anyhow," he said as she severed his right leg. As blood oozed from the severed leg, the forest erupted in a howl of pain.

"How do you want to die?" she asked again, and he stopped screaming and breathing heavily.

"I told you I don't wish to die, not today."

"Then why are you here?"

"To see your mother in you," she said, cutting off his left leg and standing like a cold statue in front of him.

"...and to see how effective the creatures are." He finished his sentence, and her eyes widened at his words. She felt cold hands crawling up her legs and turned around to be attacked by the spineless vampires she had just killed. Only they had healed adequately to ambush her.

The undead began clawing her feet with its sharp nails; she beheaded it with her sword, but all of the undead vampires began crawling towards her one after the other. She was on the verge of finishing him off, but the dirty trick he pulled threw her back a few steps. She stood in the middle of the forest, slaying every undead that crawled up to her, but they didn't seem to stop. Behind her, she could hear his disgustingly devious laugh. When she turned around to look at his face, he was standing on his own two feet. Her pupils dilated at the sight. No supernatural was capable of such healing, nor was any supernatural capable of growing a missing limb.

"I told you I don't wish to die today."

His eyes completely darkened as a five o'clock shadow fell over him. He raised his sword, and the undead began to bite and rip off her limbs. She didn't feel any pain as she stared at him with hatred and rage. He smirked at her as the fire that had engulfed her vanished. She raised her hands, her eyes glowed with fire, and fire sprouted from beneath the earth like a beckon, burning everything in her path. The fire, however, had no effect on him. An invisible shield encircled him, shielding him from the hellfire she had summoned.

Aiden was working in his office when an orange glow loomed over the horizon. He looked out the open window and was taken aback by what he saw.

"Nick, prepare our warriors!" He shouted orders, his eyes fixed on the brewing fire in the middle of the forest. He felt a strong desire to be near the beckon of fire as if he were a moth drawn to a forbidden source of light that would burn him alive. In a matter of seconds, the warriors were ready and on their way to the call of fire. Aiden, Nick, and Alpha Zedan led nearly fifty wolves and twenty of Aiden's warriors.

The pheromones surrounding the forest were unlike anything they had ever experienced. It was more powerful than the Kings, and it was pushing Aiden's beast inside. His beast was thrashing inside, unable to suppress the urge to submit. He shook his head to clear his mind and pushed through the woods as fast as his legs could carry him. They were having difficulty getting closer to the source. The raging fire was unlike anything they'd ever seen. They could feel the power of the fire from hundreds of meters away.

As the fire continued to burn everything to ashes, they stared at each other. She sensed the presence of new auras throughout the forest, including his. But the demon had no intention of relenting. The fire grew larger and larger, engulfing the warriors and wolves who surrounded them. They screamed and thrashed around on the forest floors in an attempt to escape the fire that was burning them alive, but it didn't stop the demon. Her gaze was solely fixed on the man in front of her. They stared at each other as he vanished and reappeared right in front of her.

"Looks like he's arrived; are you going to kill him too like you killed your parents?" he laughed, tilting his head.

"Well, if you do, that would be a great help; until next time, Princess." He winked and vanished into thin air. The fire was still large and strong, as she stood like a stone statue in the middle of it. His gaze was fixed on the demon standing in the midst of the fire. Her midnight black hair swayed in the breeze like the wild ocean waves. He couldn't take his gaze away from her, she was so enticing. He felt as though he was in some kind of trance. The fire grew stronger and pushed towards him; his hand caught fire, but he didn't move. His eyes were fixed on the demon who looked at him straight in the eye. The fire flickered as he noticed her eyes flash. He could see the demon's stance and concentration slipping. The fire suddenly died down, engulfing them in smoke. The fire that had been burning him and the warriors had also vanished. His trance snapped and he dashed into the smoke, desperate to reach the demon, but alas. The demon had already disappeared.
