Two months have passed

Ace POV

It's apparently been two months since I passed out in the woods on my way to find Seneca.

My pack found me barely alive in the woods and brought me back to the pack hospital where I've been in a coma like state up until now.

I woke up in a rage and attacked some of my own pack but they'll survive. They were able to give me something to calm my wolf.

Although I'm awake and aware I feel as empty as I would if I was still in that coma.

It feels like there's a void right in the center of my chest and my whole body yearns to have that back.

I can't believe my Seneca mated with Miles. And I know that it wasn't forced on her because the bond wouldn't have broken the way that it did. It would have felt different.

But I really can only blame myself. I let my Luna get away and then allowed her to go into heat without me by her side.

I can't blame her for that. Being a human she must have been in so much pain and it's not even something she really fully understands yet anyway.

If only I had explained more to her or fought harder for her maybe this would have never happened.

I sat alone in my hospital room, lost in these thoughts of regret. I didn't know what my next step should even be. Should I fight or give up hope.

Would she even want me now ?

I stood up from my bed, setting off multiple alarms to shoot off from the machines I was currently hooked up to.

I waited knowing that nurses would race in at any moment. Within a few seconds two of my packs medical workers stood timidly at my door staring.

I'm sure everyone was told to be a bit weary of me given that I had already attacked a few.

"Alpha you need to get back in bed your body hasn't fully healed yet." One nurse said, her eyes to the floor

"Well, I've got a pack to run and I've already missed my duties for two months and I can't let it go by any longer." I said a little irritated

" but no one would blame you after what you've been through." The other nurse said looking straight at me tears welling up in her eyes.

You see I wasn't the only one that suffered during this bond breaking. My entire pack felt the pain of losing their future Luna.

And they also can feel the emotions of their Alpha so I'm sure it's been a tough two months for them.

This is where I stopped writing.

Life got so busy and I felt like I couldn't dedicate the time to fully focus and complete the last chapters.

Maybe someday I'll give this a proper ending but for now I at least want to give it a 'sum it up' ending for anyone that was wondering where this story was headed.

Just like Ace, Seneca was out for about two months. They had to keep her that way at Miles compound just so that she could survive the separation. Miles also put out a bounty for his fathers betrayal but he was yet to be found.

Eventually Seneca was strong enough but

Ace and Seneca both had given up on their love for each other. The pain of the separation was almost too much to bear for them.

Ace got back to leading his pack with the intention of choosing another alpha because he knew he would now be too weak to fully lead.

Seneca was in a very depressive state and miles helped her to begin to feel a little each day. Making her begin to feel closer to him each day.

One day her daughter May sees her parents together and makes a comment about them getting married again because she didn't get to see the first wedding.

This gives miles an idea and after getting closer each day, he proposes to Seneca. Although, Seneca is still unsure about it all, may is watching so she says yes. She contemplates if she should go through with it but figures she is already married to miles anyway so what would it hurt. May has been stuck in this compound for so long she needs some excitement.

Eventually, the wedding is planned to be under a big tree on the compound just like their first wedding. Miles sees this as a way to fix everything in the past. An informant on the compound leaks this information to Ace.

Although the separation happened, Hearing this Aces wolf comes alive and becomes enraged. He begins an attack to the compound.

The wedding is all set up and ready and seneca is dressed beautifully in a wedding gown from miles.

She still is not sure she wanted to go through with this but again in her mind it's not changing anything.

Miles is preparing for the wedding by the big tree and senecas mother is right near by setting up. Seneca is all ready and decides to come down early to see how everything looks.

She approaches the ceremony area and is flooded with memories from the last wedding. Her pregnant belly pushing out through the dress.

She's pulled from her thoughts when she realizes that miles and her mother are deep in conversation. Seneca tucks behind a tree to hear what is being said.

Senecas mother tells miles that she's glad she didn't have to help get the bride to the alter this time. And proceeds to explain how years ago miles knew Seneca would leave for college and never come back- so she helped devise a plan to have miles put a hole in the condom they used used the night May was conceived.

She also told him to make sure she was drunk at the time to avoid her paying too much attention.

Seneca comes flying out from behind the tree and confronts her mother first screaming - how could she ever do such a horrible thing. She said that she needed to ensure that Seneca had a good man in her life and not end up in an abusive relationship like she endured her entire life. She pleaded that she couldn't watch her go through it too.

Next she confronts miles screaming at him. The betrayal is too much and she begins to go after miles. After a few hits Seneca says she's leaving the compound and tries to leave.

Miles grabs on to her roughly and won't let her go telling her that will never happen. He won't ever let her go again.

It is at this exact moment that Ace and his wolves had gotten through the compound walls and Ace was headed straight for miles and Seneca.

He tackles them to the ground, miles releasing Seneca.

Ace attacks miles and has him in the perfect spot to finish him off. Just as he's about to - he hears a scream and looks up.

May is standing just a few feet away crying saying please don't hurt my daddy.

Ace drops miles to the ground unable to go through with it. He grabs Seneca and holds her tight. Carrying her wedding style with her dress flowing down.

They kiss and all of the feelings of their bond come flooding back. Ace begins running with Seneca to get her off of the compound and explains that one of his other wolves will get may.

As he's running through the woods Seneca begins going into heat a second time because the bond has been mended. They stop and Ace tears her wedding dress off of her and they complete the bond right on the forest floor.

Then fast forward to Ace, Seneca and May all living on the packs land together. They still worry about what miles may do because he has been missing since the day of the wedding.

The pack has been anxiously awaiting the Luna ceremony where Seneca will officially become their Luna.

That night Seneca and Ace are onstage in front of the pack ready to complete the Luna ceremony. Ace explains to Seneca that they have to both make a small slit on their hand and bond their blood. This will create a bond for her with all of the pack members.

He lets her know that other than the slit it's not painful and that she will be able to feel all the joy that the wolves feel now that she here.

The ceremony begins and Seneca and Ace grab hands. At first Seneca is flooded with the most joyous feeling in the world. She can feel all the emotions of her pack.

But suddenly Seneca falls to the floor screaming. Ace runs to her aide and starts yelling at pack members to help. It is at the point that they realize that Seneca is shifting into a werewolf.

Ace is so confused and begins calling on elder wolves as he comforts her through the transition. Let your wolf come through he says calmly to Seneca. You can do this. You have the strength of an entire pack now.

Seneca finally transforms into a beautiful white wolf with a small purple streak down her back.

It is at this point that the elders realize who she is. She is from a very powerful pack that was believed to be extinct by hunters. It is discovered that her fathers whole pack had been taken out by hunters and he fled and led a life of complete turmoil being alone. This led him to be the horrible man Seneca knew growing up. It is believed that her wolf suppressed itself due to the terrible treatment as a child.

Ace shifts with Seneca and enjoy each other in wolf form. May is nearby and plays with the pups now realizing that Ace is the dog that stopped by her school when she was sad.

Once they shift back they head into the Alphas mansion. And Aces guards very swiftly usher Ace Seneca and May down to the secret bunker below the mansion. May stays with a nurse down there while Seneca and Ace are brought in for a meeting.

They must now discuss the realization that Maybelle is the first known of her kind. A Hunter, Wolf hybrid. They are concerned for her safety as an age old prophecy stated that one day a Hunter, wolf hybrid would unite the world and peace would begin between the two.

This would complete book one.

Hopefully one day I can add to this story to give it the full finishing chapters it deserves ! I also would love to create a book 2 all about Maybelle.
