《Girl crush Monday (GxG)》Chapter Three

♥Jenny’s POV♥

The day went by reasonably fast, if I do say so myself. As assigned, I dropped the new girl to her afternoon classes. Not a single word was shared between us; we didn’t even hold eye contact. I guess she was really mad at me then. The fact that we didn’t share our last classes was the bright side of my afternoon.

“Pass the ball to me!” Andrew screams as I try dribbling the ball along the field.

Doing as instructed, I distracted the player in front of me a little. I did that by moving side to side so that he got confused and then I passed the ball to Andrew. Andrew got the ball and scored a perfect goal. I smirk, knowing that we made a perfect team.

“That’s a rap guys and girl!” Our coach shouts, blowing his whistle and giving me the signal so that we could start our ‘cool down’.

The entire soccer team followed behind me as I led the group. We were now jogging around the field at a decent pace. Suddenly, I felt someone’s presence next to mine. Looking to my right, I see none other than Andrew Timings.

“That was some hell of a game play you showed today,” He compliments and I simply nod, remembering what he did this morning. Kissing another woman right in front of my face…

“So… You’re free tonight?” He asks. Oh my God, was Andrew finally going to ask me out?! After all those years, he finally notices me! Today won’t be as bad as I first expected then.

“As far as I know of… Why?” I reply, ending my lap and began doing my stretches. He stood next to me in all his glory.

The guy was tall, dark and handsome. He has black hair, grey eyes and perfectly tanned skin. Everything about the guy was perfectly sculpted as if made to impress a Goddess. And if I had the slightest chance, maybe, I could run my fingertips along his abs someday.

“Well I was hoping that you won't free so that I can steal Tyler for the night. He said something about checking up on you after school.”

And here I thought that the sonofabitch was going to ask me out on a date or simply hang out with him. But no… take away my entertainment, will you Andrew? Oh yeah, he just did.

“Okay, do what you like. I was planning to just sleep anyway-“

“Jenny!”

My name was being shouted out from my opposite direction so I turned to see who this voice belonged to. Seeing who it was, I groaned internally as the person jogged closer. I swear this girl was a stalker. If not, she just knew how to mess up someone’s afternoon.

“Oh, someone has a girlfriend,” Andrew coos.

“I’m straight you useless bag of sh*t,” I defend, even though I knew he was only kidding.

“I’m only teasing Jenny,” He says, dismissing himself as the new girl stands in front of me. Andrew jogs to the guys’ changing room leaving me all alone with ‘her’.

“Hey Jenny, I’m Casey. I forgot to introduce myself earlier,” Casey says, acting more confident than when we first met.

“Well hello to you too Casey but I really am not interested in getting to know you. Sorry,” I say, already walking away from this girl.

Did she not understand what I told her at lunch today? I mean, how hard headed could she be. Any normal person would take the hint and leave me alone. But that’s the thing, she wasn’t ‘normal’.

Already a few steps away from Casey, I then feel a hand circle my wrist and pulling me back. I was strong so I didn’t get pulled back but I still stopped to see what the matter was. Turning to face her, I scowl because I was already annoyed with her and with myself for stopping.

“Um I was wondering if-f you c-could give me a ride home?” She asked so innocently that my heart almost broke and did the impossible.

Remember what I said, emphasis on the word almost.

“No,” I reply harshly because I for one didn’t want her on my ride. Only special people got to seat on my motorcycle and I am damned, she wasn’t one of them. Continuing with what I was saying, I took a step forward. “How many ways do I need to say this, my purpose to you is to show you around when needed. I am not your friend.”

“B-But I wanted us to be friends,” She pleads and I couldn’t help but give her a mental slap across her face.

“Too bad I don’t want the same,” I say and then walked away. I didn’t even bother to turn around because I knew she would still be standing in the same spot. Now look what she caused again. I am not one who hurts other people’s feelings but I don’t want a pain in the *ss as a friend. Would you?
