Jisoo entered the school building and was greeted with bright smiles. It was her first day back and everyone that she walked past gave her a warm welcome.

"Welcome back, Jisoo."

"Hey Jisoo!"

"Glad you're okay, Chu."

She wouldn't say she was popular but her name floated around school due to her outstanding athletic and academic accomplishments; the accident gave her more attention than usual. She gave a shy wave or nod to the students that had greeted her. She was the never into big crowds, she liked small and intimate.

"Kim. I missed you bud." Bobby chirped, blocking the dark haired girl's path. He grinned widely before draping his arm around Jisoo's shoulder and turned his heels to walk with her. "How you feeling? We missed you at prom. Nayeon looked extra hot for you."

Jisoo groaned. Bobby was the number one fan of her and Nayeon. He couldn't let it go and pushed the idea whenever he had the chance. She couldn't blame him. After all he was Nayeon's best friend.

"Bobby, Nayeon and I are just friends. You know that right?" Jisoo stated side-eyeing the soccer player.

"I still don't understand why it can't happen. I mean you guys were so close!" Bobby argued.

"We weren't meant to be." Jisoo answered simply but the boy kept on babbling. She rolled her eyes and decided to tune out the boy's voice. As she averted her gaze and faced the front, her chocolate orbs landed on a petite brunette wearing an oversized hoodie with her last name on it. The corners of her lips curled up as she ogled at the girl who was talking to their teammates.

Oh how she missed each girl even though she had seen them just a couple of days ago. She knew that the next couple of weeks will pass by fast and soon they will go in separate ways. She had grown to love her team. Like what Lisa had said from the very beginning, they were a family.

"Would you excuse me?" The dark haired girl said politely as she lifted the boy's arm off her and started to walk away.

"Hey, where you going?" Bobby called.

Jisoo turned around and gleamed at the boy. "To my family."

-

"I can't believe you skipped out on us on Saturday, Nini." Lisa frowned. "Not cool."

"Lili, are you serious? You're still mad at me for that?" Jennie retorted, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"You didn't even say goodbye." The Thai mumbled.

Rosé nudged her girlfriend and gave the girl a pointed look. "Lisa, give her a break. She was with Jisoo."

"Yeah!" Yeri piped up. "And it's not like you paid any attention to her. You were too busy running your hands all over Rosie."

Lisa gasped dramatically. "Sue me for trying to get it on with my woman." She said, nuzzling her head in the crook of Rosé's neck.

"There, there, baby." The taller girl cooed as she brought her hand up to pat Lisa's head. Jennie and Yeri chuckled softly at the big teddy bear. It was a different side of Lisa. All four girls were too preoccupied with the couple that they didn't see a certain girl make her way towards them.

"What's going on here?" Jisoo's husky voice rang, making the four girls to turn their heads to her direction. She beamed at her teammates and opened her arms.

"JISOO!!" Yeri was the first to jump into her arms. "WELCOME BACK!"

"Jichu!" Lisa hummed as she untangled herself from her girlfriend to walk towards her captain.

"Hey, Chu. Welcome back." Rosé said rather calmly than the other two before she joined in.

Jennie just stood and watched. Of course she was ecstatic to see Jisoo back on her feet and in school but she wanted the girl to herself. She waited for her turn and smiled as her friends engulfed the pale girl in a group hug, besides she spent most her weekend with her.

"Whatcha waiting for Kim?" Jisoo addressed to her co-captain. Lisa, Rosé, and Yeri looked back to the lone girl.

"Yeah, Nini. Get in here." Rosé gestured to their hug.

"I'll just wait for my turn." Jennie replied in a placid tone, dismissing the offer.

"GET IN HERE!" Lisa reached for the brunette's arm and pulled her in the group hug.

Jisoo snaked an arm out of Yeri's body and moved it over to where she could clasp on to Jennie's. At that moment, she felt content. She wished they could stay like this forever.

They stayed huddled up for a good two minutes before the bell rang. The girls all pulled away and looked at each other.

"See you guys at lunch?" Jisoo inquired, receiving enthusiastic nods from her friends. She then turned to Jennie. "Can I walk you to homeroom?"

"We have the same homeroom." Jennie responded with a shy smile.

"So?"

Jisoo lifted her hand up towards Jennie and stared at the girl. The other three glanced between the pair and tried to contain their giggles. They still weren't use to Jennie and Jisoo being all cute with each other.

Jennie's eyes twinkled as it met Jisoo's ones. She grabbed Jisoo's hand and intertwined them together without hesitation.

"This is weird." Lisa spoke up, breaking the comfortable silence. Yeri and Rosé looked at each other and nodded. Not a second later, the Thai felt stinging pain from her arms.

"OUCH!" She yelped bringing her hands up to rub her reddening arms.

Rosé rolled her eyes and tugged on her girlfriend's forearm. "Walk me to homeroom too, thanks."

Lisa didn't have time to protest as she was dragged away by Rosé. Yeri scurried along with the couple and bid her goodbyes to the other pair.

"See ya later guys!" Yeri shouted.

Jisoo waved, not bothering to turn her head. She keep her eyes locked on at Jennie and chuckled softly.

"What?" Jennie tilted her head to the side.

"Lisa's right." Jisoo hummed. "This is weird."

"What is?"

"Holding my hand."

"I can't hold my girlfriend's hand in school?" Jennie asked rhetorically as she smiled widely at the raven-haired girl.

Jisoo grinned from ear to ear at the mention of the change in status. Jennie was her girlfriend now. And she was Jennie's.

-

After eating a whole pint of ice cream and numerous bags of candy, Jennie changed into a more comfortable outfit she had borrowed from Jisoo. The pair settled on the couch, cuddling up with each other to watch some shows. They couldn't agree on what to watch so Jisoo just decided to continue to watch her Vampire Diaries marathon.

It's only been five minutes and Jennie was over the show.

"Chu" The brown-eyed girl whined as she snuggled closer to Jisoo trying to get the other girl's attention.

Jisoo turned her head slightly to where Jennie was and furrowed her eyebrows. "Hmm?"

"I don't want to watch this." Jennie complained.

"Why not?" Jisoo grumbled. She really wanted to finish the season. She turned down the volume and looked at the smaller girl fully.

"Because I don't like the plot."

"What's wrong with the plot?"

Jennie groaned. She knew that Jisoo was very passionate about this show and if she were to belittle it, she would never hear the end of it.

"Can't we just watch something else?" She opted instead.

Jisoo sat up a little straighter and loosened her grasp on the smaller girl. She pressed the pause button and looked at Jennie.

"First, tell me. What's wrong with the plot?"

"Ughhhhh. Are we really doing this?"

"You started it."

The brunette huffed as she closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose. She really did not want to have this conversation with Jisoo.

"Let's please drop it?" Jennie pleaded.

"Only if you say you love the show and it's the best show in the universe." Jisoo smirked as she arched an eyebrow challengingly.

"No." Jennie snorted at the appalling request. "I would never say that."

"Aw, c'mon, Jendeukie."

"Why would I say that about a show that depicts a toxic love triangle?"

"Ah ha!" Jisoo jumped up from where she sat and pointed at Jennie with her finger. "So you don't like it because-"

"Because Elena is noxious, she's obviously the reason why Damon and Stefan can never find peace with each other. Which by the way, I don't get. Like what so special about her anyway? Seriously. And didn't Damon learn his lesson with Katherine... She picked Stefan." Jennie rambled and Jisoo just listened. The older girl took each blow as the brunette continued her rant. "I think Damon should have just gave up. He's only setting himself up with more heartbreak."

"Is that how you really feel?" Jisoo asked in a small voice.

"It would have been the best for everyone if Damon just let her go." Jennie stood by her argument.

"So would you have wanted me to stop pursing you when you were still with Irene? Would you have wanted me to give up?" The pale girl said in a serious tone.

Tension filled the entire room as Jennie's throat dried up.

"Jendeukie?" Jisoo posed.

The brown-eyed girl gulped. "Chu, that's not what I meant."

"Just answer my question."

Jennie bowed her head sheepishly.

"Babe, hey. Don't take it so seriously. Just... tell me. Would you have?" Jisoo consulted kindly. She reached over to Jennie and tipped her head up. "Hey."

"Idunno." The smaller girl shrugged.

"You don't know?"

"I didn't know what I wanted, okay?" Jennie sighed as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Neither did Elena." Jisoo chuckled softly. "And you know what maybe Damon was stupid for what he did. Or maybe Elena was just worth the heartache. She did end up falling for him, didn't she? It only takes on person, Jendeukie. You meet thousands of people, and none of them really touch you. Then you meet one person, and your life is changed. Forever."

Jennie was left speechless. She gaped at the dark haired girl and fell even more in love with her. Her eyes then shifted back to the television. The scene had switched to Stefan and Elena kissing as Damon watches in the background.

Jisoo turned her head to follow Jennie's gaze. She took a deep breath in and dropped her shoulders.

"It hurts." She chimed causing Jennie to look at her but her attention still remained on the screen. "Watching the girl you're in love with be with another, holding them and kissing them."

"Jis-" Jennie tried to cut in.

"But none of it matters when they are finally in your arms and you get to hold them and kiss them." Jisoo smiled as she looked back at Jennie. She went on her knees and crawled over to the other brunette. She rested her elbows on Jennie's thighs and beamed brightly at her.

Jennie bit her lip to hide her grinning face. She brought her hands up and combed it through Jisoo's hair.

"What do you think of the show now?" Jisoo asked with a smug smile plastered on her face.

"I you love the show and it's the best show in the universe." She husked, earning a small laugh from the dark haired girl. Jennie pecked Jisoo's nose and patted the space next to her.

Jisoo had once again, worn Jennie down and persuaded her to continue watching the show. They wrapped each other with a thick blanket as they cuddled closer.

-

Jennie had long fallen asleep when the third episode rolled around. She was nestled comfortably in Jisoo's strong arms with light snores escaping her lips ever so often.

Jisoo would glance at the sleeping girl once in a while to just capture how beautiful the girl was. A small smile crept on her lips whenever Jennie's head nodded off away from her shoulder. After a couple times of the incidence repeating, she carefully lifted the girl's head off her shoulder and placed on legs not wanting Jennie to break her neck from it.

Soon her eyelids felt heavier and she didn't think she could watch another episode so she grabbed the remote to turn off the TV. She thought she had hit the power button but when the screen went black she could still hear faint rustling. She rubbed her eyes with the heel of her hand and looked down at the remote. Instead of pressing the power button she accidentally pressed the input button, switching it from the cable to their DVD player. The last thing she remembered watching from the mode was the DVD Nayeon had given them when Jennie asked her to prom.

Jisoo turned her attention on the screen and waited for something before completely shutting it off. She thought the video ended with Nayeon zooming in the couple after the big proposal but apparently not, since overlapping voices were now in tune.

The screen went from black to what it looked like an eyeball followed by a finger. Jisoo's eyebrows bunched together in confusion. It was a recording of some sort.

"Is it even on?" Lisa tapped the lens and looked through it with her eyes.

"Lili! It's on. Let's go!" Jennie shouted from the back, out of span from the shot. The Thai back up and scurried to a spot next to the wooden table. "Hit play!"

It was a little blurry but Jisoo could make out the distinct voices and figures.

"ON IT! PLACES EVERYONE!" Rosé screamed frantically as she took her spot next to Lisa. Both girls wore snapbacks and crossed their arms in front of their chest.

The camera seemed to focus now. The screen had the two girls next to a desk with a random chair between them, behind was the wooden desk and a clean chalkboard. Some background music started lowly bouncing off the room when suddenly the tempo dropped and Jennie hopped on the desk from out of nowhere.

She also had a snapback on and pointed straight at the camera as she mouthed the words perfectly. Lisa and Rosé swayed their hips back and forth to the song's rhythm.

Jennie jumped off the desk and sat on the chair as if it was a car. The camera zoomed into her while the two other girls moved behind the chair to maneuver her more into the classroom.

It only focused on where you could only see Jennie and her two teammates that is until the chorus. Jennie got up from the chair and kicked it to the side. The camera panned out revealing a now not so empty classroom filled with students from the school dancing synchronically with each other.

Amongst the group of students were Yeri and Nayeon dancing with the choreography. Everyone was in either their team uniform, since most of them were form the athletics department, or school clothes. They had smiles on their faces except the girls in front looking all-smug.

Jennie ran up to the camera and held the sides as she sang along with the music. She walked it out of the classroom while the song kept playing. The people in the back dispersed and the surroundings in the background shifted.

She made a face at the camera before Lisa pulled her back. The setting has changed from the classroom to the doorway with only the two girls looking at each other. The Thai squeezed Jennie's cheeks and forced the shorter girl to look in her eyes.

The brunette shook her head off Lisa's grasp and looked straight at the camera.

She flashed a wide grin and raised her finger directly at the device symbolically pointing at Jisoo in the other side.

Then back to herself. She pushed her teammate off the shot and sauntered over the camera once again. Her lips moved in sync with the singer in the speakers.

And just before the chorus hit, she slapped the camera to it side making it rotate and spin to the school hallway filled with the same group of people. All of the girls and boys' soccer teams and the volleyball teams danced along with the music. Nayeon and Bobby were in front of soccer while Yeri and Rosé were in front of volleyball.

As the chorus fainted out, Yeri strutted over to the camera and looked to her side. A microphone flew in view and the small girl caught it flawless. She spun her snapback and started spitting out the lyrics.

The screen was only Yeri until she was pushed out and Nayeon appeared on the screen. She also had a mic, which she used to point at the screen while she lip-synced the next few words. She had put on a determined face as she tried to keep up with the rapper.

The camera followed her as she started walking over to where Jennie had been and draped her arm around the volleyball player.

Jennie looked at her in disgust and shrugged Nayeon's arm off. Nayeon looked back at the camera.

Jennie swung her hips and bumped it with Nayeon's causing the girl to stumble away. She smiled widely at the camera and crooned.

She skipped backwards to the group. They all danced in an unorganized manner completely ditching the choreography.

Everyone belted out.

"YEAH OKAY!" Rosé and Lisa screamed in the back cupping their hands to heighten the sound. Jennie just smiled and shook her head as she strolled over to the camera.

The music weakened as the brunette spoke. "I hope we can be more than friends, Jisoo."
