"There he goes again. Acting sweet and thoughtful towards me.", Singto thought to himself as Krist fixes Singto's hair and checks his costume before the show starts.
They are going to present a clothing brand as models and are preparing to walk on the runway. Singto, Krist, and the other models are lined up at the back stage, waiting for their cue.
Krist is occasionally being touchy towards Singto, like he always does when they are in front of other people. Singto can't help but to stare at this beautiful creature whenever he gets close to him. He took a deep breath and tilted his head, trying to get his focus back to what they are supposed to do.
Krist gently massaged Singto's neck, seeing how his P looked uneasy.
"Ah, shit!", he exclaimed to himself, clenching his jaw, doing all his best to keep a straight face. He grabbed Krist's hand and took it off from his nape, pressing it gently then let it go, sending the latter a signal to stop whatever he is doing. Krist looked at Singto, seemingly confused but obeyed his partner anyway.
"You don't have to act so much now that you know it's gonna be over soon.", Singto whispered to Krist while pretending to smile, acting casually.
"Isn't this what you wanted?", Krist whispered back, putting on a smile as well then scoffs at his partner's cold gaze.
Singto held his hand up, signaling Krist to stop talking.
"Let's talk after the show.", he said then began to walk out on the run way like nothing is bothering him.
Krist followed him with a gaze, shaking his head as he prepared to follow through.
"Whenever I have to pretend, that's only when I truely show my feelings."
They did a catwalk as they have practiced for a few days. Showing off their graceful looks and outfits.

As they come across each other on the stage, they both reached out their hands to each other and clasped them together for a brief moment. The crowd screamed as Krist and Singto are actually the highlight of the show.
They never fail to please the crowd. That's why they are the legendary couple.
Those are the comments the fans say in their social media posts.
Singto is now resting in his car, scrolling through his twitter account while waiting for his P'Jane to finish packing up their stuff so they can go home. He feels tired now since they have been rehearsing for a few times before the show began aside from the show and a brief press conference after. He closed his eyes and reclined on the car's seat, wanting to rest his body and mind from this tiring day.
A knock on the car's window shield on his side interrupted his rest. Singto looked through the tinted window to see who disturbed his nap. He rolled down the window shield when he recognised who was outside.
Krist leaned in closer facing each other too close they can almost feel each other's breath on their faces.
Krist casually asked.
"Get in.", Singto ordered the latter, unlocking the door beside him. He then moved over to give Krist a space to sit on.
he asked after settling in.
Singto replied, glancing at the man who just arrived.
Krist creased his forehead, looking confused.
Singto then replied, answering Krist's confused look.
"Ah.. You've known it for a while and you only ask me now? Why? Afraid I'll ruin your career?", he responded sarcastically.
"Hey! You don't have to be sarcastic with me. It's your decision to make. I know you're unhappy with this pair up from the start, I just wonder why you wanted to break up just now?", Singto replied, acting casual as possible, avoiding Krist's gaze.

Krist's took a deep breath, massaging his temple as he leaned on the seat, trying to calm himself down.
"I'm not sure about it yet but if this is what you wanted.. Fine.", he said, feeling hopeless.
Singto's mood changed hearing Krist's response.
"Krist, answer me honestly..", he then said, staring outside, watching the people passing by.
"All these time that we've been together, have you ever liked me even just as a person?", he asked, still gazing outside.
Singto heard a sigh from his partner.
Krist questioned back.
Singto turned to look at Krist, feeling a bit annoyed at Krist's dry response.
he asked again.
Krist retorted, gazing back at Singto with a blank expression.
"Besides, why so inquisitive just now after all these years?", he quiried further.
Singto went mum at Krist's words. How would he answer it? Because it's only now that the thought of losing Krist even just as a partner has just started to sink in and it's slowly driving him crazy?
Singto let out a big sigh then turned away, clenching his fist.
"Damn!", he exclaimed in his head.
Krist looked at Singto, smirking.
he uttered with a hint of bitterness while shaking his head.
"Like you did really care. Isn't everything just an act?", Singto retorted, rolling his eyes.
He wants to slap his mouth for uttering words he didn't mean but what can he do? They've always been like this from the start. Shoving to each other's face that they're just doing their job.
Krist uttered, smiling bitterly. He patted Singto's shoulder then opened the car door to get down, ending their confusing conversation.

Blue Hills
Nothing had ever felt quite right for Alexander Adamson. He'd worked his way up to a job he could tolerate, a few casual friends, and even a nice little apartment that he could call his own, though it really wasn't. The problem was that none of it was satisfying. It was as though he were going through the motions of a life, rather than having one of his own. Of course, it didn't exactly feel right when he woke up in a strange bed in the middle of nowhere. Nor when he was told that he was now the proud owner and operator of a local farm. A farm that had belonged to a late uncle he'd never known. But with the first train out of town a full 'season' away, he had plenty of time to get used to the idea. Plenty of time, perhaps, to even get to like the strange little town of Blue Hills. I have a discord now. Marvel at my ability to somehow still be antisocial on the other side of a screen! Back from hiatus along with my other fiction. Chapters are on a Thurs/Sun schedule until book 3 of that fiction is completed, at which point I'll be updating this daily. At which point uh.... I dunno what I'm going to do.

All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play.
