Item SCP-[----]

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-[----] is to be contained in a Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell with the addition of a bathroom. Requests made by SCP-[----] are to be reviewed before approval.

Description: SCP-[----] (formerly [Y/n] [L/n]) is a human with (h/c) hair and notably intense (e/c) eyes. It had no other remarkable features. It is to have one armed guard outside its containment cell at all times.

SCP-[----] first arrived at Site-19 on ██-█-████. It was originally detained by MTF E-11 following the site-wide breach of Site-19. Interviews have yet to yield any information as to how SCP-[----] gained access to Site-19. Any and all info regarding how it gained access is to be forwarded to the Site Director OS Site-19.

The original theory was that SCP-[----] possessed some form of a precognition ability, as it had knowledge of the various SCPs it had come across. Most notably would be SCP-173, 096, 049 and 035.

Subsequent interviews with SCP-[----] have shown that this theory was incorrect, but the ability was rather a form of time loop. If the SCP subject were to sustain deadly injuries, it will 'travel back in time' to a point before its 'death'. This varies from a few seconds to a few minutes (though never exceeding 5 minutes according to the subject). Following such an event, SCP-[----] will have a full recollection of how it 'died' and can act accordingly to avoid such a 'death'.

Addendum [----]-1: SCP-[----] has demonstrated extensive knowledge of various SCPs beyond those it has met as well as the layout of Site-19. It also appears to recognize the names of several doctors working for the SCP Foundation. SCP-[----] has stated that it is not omnipotent and that the extent of their knowledge is 'complicated'.

Additional follow-up interviews will be required to uncover the nature of its information.

Below are a series of audio logs. Some of which were under SCP-[----]'s file, others not:

X.x.X

"Log [----]. Subject [----]-[-------]. The subject woke up. They're..." the speaker paused. "Unsettling."

The sound of paper crinkling could be heard through the microphone.

"They're not unsettling in the way that some other SCPs are. Physically, they're nothing intimidating except for their rather intense eyes too. Bet they'd have a real nasty glare. But, the subject, they just-" the speaker made a frustrated sound. "They make me feel uneasy like they could pick me apart and still look at me like I'm nothing. Smith is still interviewing them right now. I don't think we're going to get a lot of answers though. Is it too much to ask for an easy subject for once?"

X.x.X

"Log [----]. Subject [----]-[-------]. So, time loops, huh? It's like those video games where the player gets a save point to go back to when they die," the speaker hummed. "I think we're going to have to test the time loops thing though. The subject is weird. We think they purposefully let themselves get contained by us. I don't understand them. I don't think anyone on this damn case does."

"Log [----]. Subject [----]-[-------]. I watched the security footage of the subject going through Site-19. O5 gave permission to the people at the head of this project to watch the compiled footage."

The speaker let out a shaky exhale.

"It was crazy," they whispered. "There's no way the subject didn't know what they were doing. They had to have known. 914, the keycards, the gas mask, the S-Nav, containing 106, 079 making a deal- I don't get it. The entire footage was less than half an hour long. Imagine that, someone just escaping the entire damn site in less than half an hour. If the MTF weren't there, they really would've left and we'd be scrambling to find them."

"I can't imagine even navigating this site. The layout's crazy. Even I get lost sometimes. Site-17's better organized I think," the speaker coughed. "Sorry, getting off topic. We're lucky that the subject doesn't seem interested in escaping. I can't imagine what we'd do if they wanted to."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. Subject [----]-[-------]. 049's been asking to talk to the subject. We tried asking it why it wants to talk to them but all we're getting is that the subject has been cured. That feels like a minefield in and of itself. We're waiting for O5 approval for testing."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. The subject finally got classified as an SCP. You know, I thought this would be another one of those scenarios, you know, where we get an anomaly, let it sit around for a bit and then poof! It disappears."

The speaker laughed nervously.

"Things like that. Doctors, sites, SCPs, random anomalies, they're just gone, shifted out of existence. But, the subject is still here. They - sorry, it's - still around. I guess this one's going to stay awhile too."

X.x.X

The faint shutter of a stapler could be heard.

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. Dr. Bright's finally getting another D-Class to pilot. I remember watching the footage from [----]'s first appearance. It looked at the amulet but avoided it. How did it know? Did it die before from touching it? Another question to add to the box."

"O5 wants [----] to talk to 035. They're allowing it host privileges just this once. This feels like a bad idea but I don't have the clearance to deny it. Dr. Glass is coming over soon. I think it's about Bright since it's around that time of year for evaluations again. [----] also needs a psychological interview to be cleared to talk to 035. They're getting Glass to do it."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. They- It isn't dead after 049 touched it," the speaker began. "I don't get it. I don't think [----] gets it either. At least 049 seems to be in a good mood since it's "cured" someone. Apparently [----] got cured during the containment breach? Does this curing thing carry over through time or something?"

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. So. Smith just reported that [----] said that it "doesn't have to meet someone to know about them" and that it's not omnipotent," they gave a long drawn out sigh. "What the f*ck."

"[----], whatever the hell it is, clearly shouldn't be here. Smith also said something 'bout it taking a jab at God. I don't get it. Smith doesn't know where it got its knowledge but at least this answers why [----] knows so much. Well, kind of. I'm not the one who's going to have to process that paperwork for this. Smith might be able to push it off to Iceberg or something."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. 079 remembers [----]. I'm surprised it bothered to store the meeting in its memory. It threw a tantrum when we asked it why it opened Gate A though. We're coming back in 24 hours to see if it'll answer some questions."

X.x.X

"Dr. Bright is looking for [----]. Immortals attract immortals, huh? Someone also started a conspiracy board for [----]."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. We didn't learn much from 079 or [----]. [----] said we wouldn't be able to kill 682 even if we wanted to. I hate that it's probably right. The AI and [----] spent half the interview playing tic tac toe. I didn't even know 079 could display a tic tac toe board."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. It's been cleared by Glass to talk to 035. I haven't read the full report yet but he seems worried about it."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. Say, why has the cross-testing with [----] been feeling like interviews? It's basically the same standard, isn't it? We put a doctor in the same room as an SCP, the doctor asks some questions and then they leave. Only difference is that [----] is an SCP and clearly doesn't care about answering anyone's questions. I guess [----] doesn't really feel much like a D-Class just because of the way they are." They paused. "If the circumstances had been different, [----] really could've been anything, couldn't they?"

"They would have fit in, I think. A lot of the senior staff are a little anomalous too," they sighed. "There's no use thinking about what-if now. They're SCP [----] and that's all there is to it... Oh. It. RIght. It's always harder when they're so human, you know?"

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. Gods, it's creepy as hell. [----] didn't even react or care when it saw the D-Class. It just stared impassively. God knows my first time working at the foundation, I could barely look at the D-Classes without feeling a little guilty." The speaker shivered. "Anomalies are just different, huh?"

In the background, someone yelled, "Just say they're built different!"

"Hush!" The speaker said. "I'm recording a log! Anyways, [----] is still in there 035. Maybe it'll come out with their mental state intact."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. [----] is kinda annoyed with us. Apparently, someone turned on the gas valve last death which is uh," the speaker winced. "I've seen what it does and it's not pretty. I guess it makes sense for it to be upset. The interview's over now and 035's host has decomposed completely. [----]'s mental state is intact and seems satisfied with the conversation. I guess it must've confirmed something before their death? It hasn't said anything about how many times it died this time."

They absently hummed. "[----] kept tugging at the collar of its jacket and has refused to answer any questions. It might be more cooperative on a different day. We'll see later."

X.x.X

"We're finally getting clearance to renovate Site-19. Thank f*ck, this place is a f*cking nightmare."

X.x.X

"Log [----]. SCP-[----]. Since we're renovating Site-19, we have to transfer the SCPs to different sites. Who's idea was it to put this many very dangerous SCPs in one site again?"

In the background, someone mumbled something about "Dr. Maynard." The speaker answered with a reminder that Dr. Maynard was killed during the containment breach.

"Anyways [----] is being transferred to Site-17, mostly for the sake of convenience. There's testing planned for it and 408 and Kondraki is there anyway to oversee it. To be honest, it probably isn't the best choice of person to oversee cross-testing... But that's just because of how unique the senior staff are," the speaker trailed off. "Dr. Bright somehow still hasn't managed to find [----]. Either Bright has gotten pulled away for a different SCP, [----] had an interview or Bright got lost in the facility."

There was a long pause.

"It's a good thing we're renovating Site-19. At least then our own staff would stop getting lost. Maybe we should've gotten more S-Navs or whatever [----] did with them and 914."

X.x.X

"Is this really the best option? Sending it to Site-17?"

"What other choice do we have? It's the best option if we want more information out of them."

"[----] is stubborn, it is likely that it won't be receptive even when introduced to a new environment."

"It probably feels isolated since Site-19's layout is f*cked."

"Right, like that's the main issue."

"I'm just saying-"

"Ten, shut up."

"Transfering [----] to Site-17 is the best choice we have at the moment. [----] is a wildcard with a chance of being a liability or of being our best ally."

"Isn't it too early to make choices like that? It's clearly shown no interest in helping or going against the Foundation."

"We can not afford to let it run around without precaution but giving it some freedom may open them up a little."

"Are you suggesting we give it permission to explore Site-17? What if it puts together an escape plan and breaches containment?"

"If [----] wanted to leave containment, it would have undoubtedly done so already."

Silence settled over the room as they let the statement sink in.

"One, what do you think?"

"... If [----] behaves itself, we may allow it privileges to wander."

"Let's do a vote, one."

"Very well then. Raise your hand if you are in favour of allowing [----] to wander Site-17."

"..."

"Very well then. As we are in agreement, this meeting is now adjourned."

And so, a new arc began to unfold.

Hi yeah, I've been busy. School was kicking my butt in November. Literally the exact same thing happened last year which is kind of hilarious. I kind of hate having character profiles of MC at the beginning of the fic or even at all but like, I wanted an SCP file for MC. But you also didn't learn anything new from the profile hopefully so I can sort of excuse it? I could rant about nit-picky things like having character profiles in fics all day but anyways, just having an SCP file for a chapter is boring so there's also audio logs.

Happy new years eve or happy new year depending on your timezone!
