《Aphrodisiac ✔️(mikaelson soulmate)》Chapter XXXI: Princess

"Octavia!" I sat up, gasping for air. Everything was numb. My vision blurry and darkened. My ears were ringing as my body began to feel again. A hand on my shoulder caused me to jerk away in fear. When my eyes focused though, I noticed the hurt filled eyes of Elijah. I felt bad, I did. But My body- my brain was filled with fear. I couldn't remember the dream completely. But I did remember something.
"I'm not human." I spoke out. Elijah's eyes widened slightly as his brows furrowed in confusion. He slowly brought his hand closer to me again, making sure I wasn't going to freak out on him again before touching my cheek. I hissed out a bit from pain which caused him to pull his hand back.
"You have a cut.." Elijah muttered, ignoring what I had said. Or maybe he was just putting it off. His brown eyes stared intently at my cheekbone. His thumb swiping under where the small pain was coming from. He pulled his hand away to show the small drip of blood on his thumb. My eyes stared at the bead of blood on his thumb before lifting my hand up to my cheek, lightly touching the jagged cut.
"'Lijah.." I breathed, confused. He stared back at me looking just as confused. Elijah shook his head, biting into his wrist before offering it up to me. I accepted immediately. My neck was sore from the dream, but since he didn't heal me after feeding last night it was possible it was just that. The taste of rich chocolate filled my mouth, flooding my senses as a moan rippled in my throat. My lips pressing more into the wound to get more without biting him. Elijah sat there watching me before pulling his wrist from me himself. I saw why when I noticed the sheets were pitched up slightly on his lap.
"Now tell me about your dream." Elijah said as he stood up and grabbed a tissue to clean his wrist off before coming back over to me.

"I don't- I don't remember it that well." I told him admittedly. I was embarrassed I couldn't recall the dream. "I know that I was about to die.."
"Hmm." Elijah hummed, nodding. He reached out and lifted the necklace and studied it. The warmth of the magic still kept it heated as he frowned. "This isn't working." He mumbled. I grabbed his forearm, shaking my head.
"I don't think he was a witch." Elijah frowned further before his eyebrows furrowed. I raised my hand to rest on my neck. Elijah watched me carefully, as if trying to read my mind. I was so confused.
"We'll figure this out." Elijah assured me, his hand grabbing mine to soothe me. I nodded, a soft smile on my lips. I was so lucky. His other hand cupped mine in his hands. "For now, I believe Kol is wishing to take you to breakfast." I raised my brow at him as he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. "He's knocking on your bedroom door." He told me. Pressing his lips to mine again. I smiled, nodding as he pulled back. The door burst open when Elijah let out a sigh.
"Have you seen- Oh.. did I interrupt something?" Kol asked, his crazed frantic self calming as he saw me. Leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed with a smirk on his face.
"Elijah said you want to go to breakfast?" I questioned as I pulled my robe closed and stood up. Kol pouted when my robe was pulled shut, but nodded with a grin.
"There's this breakfast biscuit place right outside of town that has great reviews!" Kol said happily, he seemed really excited about some biscuit place. I narrowed my eyes at him in suspicion before nodding.
"Let me just get dressed in my room." I told him as I pressed a kiss to Elijah's cheek swiftly before moving to the door. Kol stood in my way, a pout on his lips. "Kol..." I whined trying to get past him.

"So picking favorites now, darlin'?" Kol asked as he raised his eyebrow at me. He leaned towards me, before tapping on his cheek with his finger. I sighed, leaning towards him before moving to kiss his cheek. But Kol being Kol turned his head and captured my lips with his. The wide grin on his face made me laugh. Pulling back I shook my head as he moved out of my way and let me pass. "I'll be out in a moment." Kol told me as he stepped in to speak to Elijah. Probably about the nightmare thing.
I walked down the hall to my room, closing the door behind me. Making my wake to the closet, I didn't take long to change into something other than a robe. I was so happy that I had stolen Kol's shirt when we bonded. I don't know what it was about wearing my mates clothes, but they were so comfortable. I was glad that they were all taller than me, their shirts covered me perfectly.
After changing into Kol's shirt and tying a small knot at the bottom, I made my way into the bathroom across the hall from my room. Checking my hair which I had thankfully wrapped a silk scarf around to protect the braids. Brushing my teeth and using the restroom before walking out of the bathroom and down the hall. I could hear Kol and Elijah speaking in hush voices behind the bedroom door. I sighed, making my way down the stairs and deciding to step outside and wait in the fresh air.
"Where do you think you're going, love?" I turned my head to see Nik stepping out of his studio. I smiled at him.
"Kol is taking me to breakfast." I told him sweetly. Nik smiled as he walked to stand closer to me. His eyes trailing along my body before raising his eyebrows and looking back into my eyes.
"Is this becoming a habit to wear our clothes?" He questioned. I smirked as I stepped to stand closer. My chest touching his as I breath in.
"Why? Did you want to wear my clothes too?" I teased. Nik's eyes flashed at my teasing tone. I smirked at him as I raised my hand and dragged my finger along his chest, admiring the feeling of his muscle under his Henley shirt. "I did give you that pair of panties.." I whispered to him causing a growl to bubble out of his throat. My hand left his chest before cupping his stubbly cheek. "Bet they would look so sexy on you...Maybe you can wear them for me sometime." I lightly pat his cheek before stepping back from him as I heard Kol and Elijah coming down the stairs.
"Where is Finn?" Elijah asked just as Finn poked his head from the study. A glass of alcohol in his hand. Nik was blushing a bit red at the thought that someone might have heard my teasing towards him. Kol bounded up to me, grabbing my hand before pausing.
"Is that my shirt?" He asked, looking over the green shirt. I smiled.
"Mine now." I said with a grin. He laughed before shaking his head at me. Finn walked over and placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Enjoy your breakfast, princess." He said softly before I kissed him on his lips, pulling a smile from his lips. Elijah was next to kiss my cheek before following Finn to the living area. Nik narrowing his eyes at me in a playful glare before pecking my lips and leaving me and Kol to our outing.
"Let's go, "

In Umbra Hasta
A blue marble floated in the unending void. On that marble, billions went about their lives, unaware that somewhere else, something had changed. Some requirement was met, and suddenly, a new type of energy saturated the universe. A mother closed her car's door and lifted a bag of groceries in an arm before vanishing into nothingness. Across the world, a teenager disappeared mid-word from a conversation with friends. In eastern America, Captain Octavius J. Asher of the US Army vanished from a mountain trail with no witnesses. People all over the Earth disappeared simultaneously. Such a thing would normally cause mass panic across the globe were it not for the fact that there wasn't a single person left on the globe to panic. Congratulations! Your universe has joined the System. Note: I wanted to read another litrpg apocalypse novel but couldn't find one. Thus, I decided to write one. The MC will be strong for a human but insignificant on a cosmic scale. No destroying worlds with a spell on chapter 25 in this novel. He will face challenges and be forced to make hard decisions. This serial now on hiatus for the time being :( Please rate and review. Constructive criticism is welcome!

8 73The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.
