You walked towards the backstage and met Hoseok,

"All males are ready?"

He nodded as he panted.

Today it's the day of show in which you would show your collection with Hoseok. You were soo nervous and shaking.

Hoseok noticed and he held your hand.

"Don't worry, our collection is amazing and i am sure of it."

You chuckled a bit then the MC announced yours and Hoseok's name and started to tell about the partnership between him and your parent's company.

Then the models started to line up and walked on the ramp. People were clapping as they loved the dresses and you couldn't help but Jump in excitement.

You hugged Hoseok as the clothes were done showing and the MC called you two on the ramp. Both of you walked towards the ramp and People started cheering.

You and Hoseok bowed. Your eyes started to find your family and you smiled once you spotted them. Besides your family, Jimin was sitting and he was clapping as loud as he can.

He winked at you and then sent you a flying kiss. You chuckled and then walked back to the backstage. You once again hugged Hoseok.

Once the show was done, you met up with your family. They congratulated you and hugged you. Then Jimin hugged you tightly and whispered a 'congratulations'

You and Jimin aren't dating yet. He haven't officially asked you out as his girlfriend but both of you are already going on dates and have kissed multiple times.

Both of you were taking things slow.

- NEXT DAY -

Today is the day where your mom will officially announce that you are gonna be the next CEO.

The fashion collaboration was just a way to get you into the company.

It was around 12pm and your mom was having her manicure and pedicure done. You were just sitting beside her, doing nothing but talking to Jimin.

"Is it Jimin?"

Your mom asked and you nodded.

She took a sigh and spoke,

"Y/N i have something to tell you."

You moved your eyes to your mother and started to listen.

"I like Jimin alot, he's a good boy but you know as a mom, i don't think he's good enough for you. I know how much you have started to like him but deep down inside of me, something tells me that you can find someone better."

She spoke slowly and tried to explain you.

"I'm not asking you to break up, I'm just saying that you cannot just start to date the first boy you met. You should try others too, maybe if there's someone better than him?"

Your mom spoke, making you realize something.

You didn't speak so your mom continued,

"Just don't meet Jimin for a few days and meet other boys. I know Jimin is totally your type but maybe you'll like someone too?"

You nodded,

"Okay, you are my mom and you want the best of me so i agree."

Your mom smiled.

"But i don't know any boys."

You said.

"Don't worry, tonight is your official announcement and there are gonne be many people."

Your mom said and you sighed.

"But can i just be with Jimin tonight?"

You asked. She thought about it and then agreed.

You smiled forcefully,

"I will tell him tonight that i want a break."

Your mother smiled and held your hand,

"Thank you so much."

You stood up as she removed her hand from yours,

"I'll start preparing other things."

You left the room and quietly went to your room. You layed down on your bed and stared at the lockscreen.

It was of Jimin posing dorkily for you.

One thing you were confirmed about is that Jimin is in love but he's holding back for a reason.

And now it's gonna be so hard to tell him that you want to stay away from him for a month at least.

FEW HOURS LATER

The hairdresser put up your hair in a bun and it was looking really good on you. You smiled as you looked yourself in the reflection.

You stand up as you were done being ready. You are wearing a red slit leg dress with a light makeup.

Yoongi came inside to tell you something but he stopped as you he looked at you,

"Wow, for the first time i admit you look really good."

You rolled your eyes and took your purse,

"Is the car ready?"

Yoongi nodded,

"Yes, that's why i came in to tell you that."

You followed Yoongi downstairs. Your mom and dad were already sitting inside the car but you and Yoongi were gonna come in the other car.

Both of you sat inside and the driver started driving.

It took almost 30 minutes to reach at venue. When you got out of the car, photographers were already circling around you, taking your pictures and started asking questions but Yoongi didn't let them as he lead you through them.

When you got inside, you finally let out a breath which you didn't realize you were holding.

Yoongi looked at you with worried eyes,

"You okay? Do you need water?"

You shook your head and looked around, some of the guests were already here and some were still on their way.

You were nervous because you had to face Jimin.

Your phone vibrated and saw that it was a text from Jimin saying that he has reached the venue.

Your eyes travelled towards the entrance door and waited for him. People were coming in but you just wanted to see him. Then he entered and looked around for you.

He smiled as he saw you.

He was literally looking like a prince.

You smiled as he approached you. He held out his hand for you to take. You were hesitant but still give him and he placed a kiss on it.

"You look very beautiful tonight."

He whispered making you blush.

But then you remembered that you had to maintain a distance.

"By the way, i have something important to tell you. Can we talk before the official announcement?"

You asked and Jimin nodded.

"I have something to say too."

He said as he looked around.

"Are you parents coming?"

You asked him and he nodded.

"Yeah i left before them, they must he on their way right now."

Jimin said.

You looked around for your mom and saw her already talking to some of her friends.

"The ceremony starts in a few minutes, let's find a private place to talk."

You said as you started walking. Jimin followed you along.

You both found a balcony and stood there for a few minutes before speaking.

"Why don't you say something first?"

Jimin said making you gulp.

You took a long sigh and spoke,

"I actually need a break....from this relationship."

Jimin's eyes widened but he didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"Break? Why?"

Jimin asked.

You took a sigh,

"My mom wants me to meet some guys..."

Jimin sighed out of relief. He thought you are breaking up because you don't love him anymore.

"And what about you?"

You asked him.

He tensed up a bit.

"I actually am.... going with my dad...to America."

Your eyes widened.

"And i don't think I'll be back before 2 years."

Jimin spoke.

You look away as you bit your lip,

"So you want to break up?"

Jimin shook his head,

"No, i just....."

He didn't know what to say.

"I think it's the best that we don't contact with each other."

You said and turned around, walking away.

Tears were welling up in your eyes but you didn't let them fall. You decided to find Yoongi as you walked inside the hall. Thank god he was standing just a meters away. You walked upto him and just stood next to him.

When he noticed your presence, he turned towards you and could see your mood. He leaned a little bit,

"Are you okay?"

You took a long sigh,

"Don't ask this right now."

And he didn't. Yoongi knew that whenever you are sad and someone asks if you are okay, you start crying.

Yoongi's eyes fell on Jimin, who also came in looking sad.

You didn't noticed but everyone was looking at you, because you are gonna be the new CEO soon.

Soon, your mother was on the stage and was giving her speech. Then the moment your family waited for came, you were called on stage.

You walked up on the stage and everyone clapped loudly. You smiled forcefully and bowed at the people.

"Our next CEO, MIN Y/N."

Your mom spoke and then the crowd clapped again. Your eyes looked at the crowd and then stopped at Jimin.

He was smiling and clapping for you, standing besides his parents.

Your eye contact broke as you walked down the stage and stood next to Yoongi.

"Congratulations sister!"

He said as he nudged you playfully with his arm.

You rolled your eyes.

"Thanks, i hope you also let me come to one of your concerts."

Yoongi chuckled,

"Alright I'll take you to the one which is going to be hella amazing."

You giggled and was about to say something but your mom came with a woman about her age.

"Y/N, this is Mrs Jeon."

Your mother said and you bowed.

"Hello."

You said with a smile.

Mrs Jeon smiled back,

"Congratulations to you dear."

"Thank you."

You said and again bowed.

"Mrs Jeon is my old friend in business."

Your mom spoke and you nodded.

Then both of them walked away. Many people came and congratulated you. Then Jimin came with his family.

"Very congratulations to you Y/N."

Jimin's mother spoke and you bowed.

"Being a CEO isn't very easy, Jimin must have told you how tiring it is."

Mr Park spoke and your eyes darted towards Jimin.

Before you could speak, Jimin spoke,

"We don't talk about business, our relationship isn't about taking other unimportant things."

Mr Park scoffed,

"Anyways congratulations."

You bowed and they walked away, except Jimin. He stood there as he looked at you.

"Y/N, can we please atleast spend this night without worrying about anything? I'm going next month, i thought we would have time to hangout but your mother planned something else for you."

Jimin spoke.

You took a sigh,

"Jimin, let's not talk about this right now."

Jimin nodded and then he was hesitant to ask something,

"Can i hug you before i go?"

The question caught you off guard but you nodded.

He leaned in and wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer to him. You wrapped your arms around his neck and was about to tear up.

"I'm sorry if i ever did something wrong."

He whispered.

You shook your head.

He pulled away but still had this arms around you,

"I wish i could fight my dad but you know how parents can be stubborn."

You didn't say anything. Jimin pulled back and gave some distance.

"Goodbye."

He said.

The tears started to well up and they blurred your image.

"Goodbye."

You said with all your energy.

He turned his back to walk away but he didn't. He turned towards you again and walked towards you. He pulled out a ring and placed it in your palm.

"It's not an engagement ring but i was going to confess with this.",

He whispered and you started sobbing.

He wiped away your tears and kissed your forehead,

"I wish all t-the best to you."

His voice cracked and then he immediately walked away, not wanting you to see him cry.

Yoongi who was seeing all of this came closer to you and hugged you. Then he pulled away and wiped your tears,

"Don't cry, Mom said that she's gonna bring someone."

You nodded and wiped your tears and took a long breath. Thank god the makeup artist sprayed on your makeup or else it would have been all ruined.

You see your mother coming towards you with Mrs Jeon but this time,

her son was coming along.
