《Let's stop | KookMin/Jikook》Leaving

Author's POV
Jungkook was out of his mind. He really was starting to believe that he's life was fucked up. Being rejected by his first love, and being turned down at the second try. Why couldn't he be happy, like the rest? He was down, very down. All he wanted was to go to Jimin and hug him and tell him everything. He had already talk to Yuju as Yoongi told him. She just said she couldn't bear with him anymore, knowing how he still had feelings for Jimin. Adding that she was tired of the lack of affection from the boy.
"I really tried oppa, but do you think I didn't hear you when you mumbled "his favorite drink" every time I ordered a macchiato? It hurt seeing me trying to give you my all, but not receiving you. I still want you to come to the US with me, because I still care for you and your carrier." And with a quick kiss on the cheek, she left Jungkook. Just like Jimin.
He hadn't much time, but it was decided. He was going to the US. He wanted to leave everything behind and start over. Maybe, just maybe he could forget about him and find love there, the only thing that was missing in his life. But oh boy he thought, forgetting Jimin wasn't that easy. It never was.
--
The manger called them all to gather in the living room of their dorm. He had something important to tell them. And since they've finished all tours and fan-meetings, they had a good amount of time to do what they wanted.
"Jungkook wants to tell you something," he finally said.
"Hyung, could you just tell them, I can't." The youngest didn't know how to bring it up.

"Oh, okay." All eyes on Jungkook, they were patiently waiting on their manager to tell them the news. Jungkook didn't look up, but he felt Jimin's eyes on him.
"Jungkook is going to the US in a couple of weeks. He will be going to a music academy for vocalists. He auditioned and got accepted. He will be attending classes with rookie and big idols from all around Korea. And he will be gone for three years, longer if he can debut as a soloist."
Everyone held their breaths, and without knowing, Jimin had started to cry, silently. No one catch on, but Jungkook did. And he could swear his own tears was starting to come.
"Jungkook-ah, I knew you were going to debut as a solo artist anyway. I'm both happy and proud of you, and we will miss you a lot. Fighting!" He may have been supportive since he's the leader, but his eyes said something else. Jungkook just smiled in return, but it loosened when Jimin said a quiet yes and went upstairs excusing himself. And so, their manager also left.
Jungkook was on his way to Jimin, but Taehyung stopped him midway.
"Don't Jungkook, don't make it harder for the both of you. He will only be more upset seeing you care about him again." Taehyung was right, if he went up to Jimin, Jimin would never let him go. So he decided to listen to his hyung and act cold as ice, as he did back when Jimin told him the truth.
"Okay, I won't." He still went upstairs, but to his own room.

Paths of the Chosen (Rewritten, Revised, and Reinvigorated)
Daniel Stewart was chosen to alpha test a brand new Immersive VR game, "The Realms". What he doesn't know is that he has also been Chosen by one of the Powers of a far-off world, and is now a pawn in a game much bigger than any he thought he would ever participate in. Will he survive and thrive in this strange new world, or will he stumble and fall, shattered by the ambitions of another? Does he have what it takes to walk the Paths of the Chosen?---Inspired by the Chaos Seeds novels, TheDespaxas's The Gamer, and a wide variety of games and books, although the world, characters, and systems are my own. Expect high fantasy, magic, combat and intrigue, love and loss, grief and passion. This story is intended for adult audiences and contains explicit sexual content, profanity, and violence (including sexual violence, although not by the protagonist and not as a focus of the story). Chapters with such content will be clearly marked, and all explicit sexual content will be behind spoiler tags. I prefer my stories to have happy endings, and especially in these uncertain times, I feel that it is important to maintain hope. While this tale will reach some dark places, I promise to you that, when all is said and done, the villains will be justly punished and the heroes will prevail and prosper. Remember: it is darkest before dawn, but dawn always comes. Please note also that although this story does not have the [Harem] tag, it does have an extremely slow build into a polyamorous relationship. Additionally, starting with Champion (book two of the series), the [Multiple Lead Characters], [Female Lead], and [Non-Human Lead] tags would also apply to varying degrees. This is a complete, ground-up rewrite of the original Paths of the Chosen, following feedback from here and elsewhere. It is now written in the third-person limited omniscient perspective and in the past tense. In addition, while the major plot beats are unchanged, most of what comes between them has been reconsidered and rewritten, with pacing and characterization as a special focus.---Update schedule: 2 chapters per week (Monday and Thursday), not counting bonus chapters. Chapter length is roughly 2,500 words on average, +/- 1,000 words. Chapters with explicit content tend to be longer so that they are still worth reading for those who would prefer a fade to black. --- Cover art by Agri Karuniawan (@artofagri). Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.
