Utal niyang saad natatakot sa kung ano ang magiging reaksiyon ng anak.
"What? But mom my daddy is daddy Ryker." Saad nito na makikita mo sa mga mata ang pagkalito.
"Your daddy Ryker is your biological father's brother." Pag-e-explain niya sa anak. She's choosing her words to avoid her son from hurting.
"So you mean my real daddy and daddy Ryker are brothers?" Tanong nito.
"Yes, baby." Sagot niya.
"I won't accept that mommy." Nagulat siya sa sinagot nito sa kaniya.
"Why baby?" Agad niyang tanong.
"I won't accept him as my dad, my daddy is daddy Ryker. I don't have any other dad than him, and I won't treat any other guys in this world like how I treat him." Nagsimula nang tumulo ang mga luha sa mga mata niya, parang piniga naman ang puso niya.
Agaran namang rumescue si Ryker sa kaniya, lumuhod ito katabi niya at hinawakan si Race sa balikat.
"Baby your mommy is telling the truth he is your biological daddy, but that won't stop me from being your father." Naiyak siya sa narinig, wala namang nakakaiyak roon pero sa tuwing naririnig niya na tinatawag ni Ryker na anak si Race ay nagiging emosiyonal siya.
"But why it's only my first time to see him? Why is that he isn't there when I need a father. He is irresponsible, daddy Ryker isn't like him. I don't need a father like him, I need a daddy like daddy Ryker." Natameme siya sa narinig, he is young but he already said those words. Naisip niya ang mararamdaman ni Ace kung maririnig niya ang salitang iyon galing sa sarili niyang anak.
"Don't be like that baby, he is still your daddy no matter, no matter how irresponsible he is."

"Okay fine." Lumiwanag ang mukha niya sa narinig, nakahanap siya nang pag-asa.
"Really baby!" Masayang bulalas niya.
"But-----"
"But what?"
"I'll only accept him as my bioological father but I wont treat him as my dad, I'll only see daddy Ryker as my real father. That's it mommy, but if you want something more than that. I want to say sorry in advance cause I can't give him more than acceptance." Tumulo ang masaganang luha sa mga mata nito kasabay ng pagtulo ng luha ni Jelene. Agad niyang pinahid ang luha ng anak. Napaka bata pa nito para makaramdam ng sakit na ganito.
"Okay baby, not now. But I hope you'll accept him when the time pass, and when it heal your wounds."
"Mommy time can heal the wounds but it can never remove the scar. It will left there forever._" She was shock to hear such meaningful word from her five years old son but she was happy that she can see in his eyes that he already understand their situation.
"Thank you baby, thank you for understanding." Pagpapasalamat niya rito, sabay halik sa nuo nito.
"I'll always try to understand you mommy, you are my mom and you were there through the good and the bad times in my life. You raised me well and I love you mom that is why I'll try to understand you no matter what the situation is."
"Thank you baby, I love you too." Niyakap niya ang anak at isa-isang nagsibagsakan ang mga luha sa mga mata niya.
Ngunit isa na lamang ang sigurado siya, hindi na iyon luha nang mapait nakaranasan niya. Kundi luha ng sayang dala ng anak niya.

Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.

This is about a person who is summoned to a world to be a hero and save the human race from the demons, clich stuff, he will then make decisions that affect all of those around him(I think this is original). Also, he will not get all the """"females"""" out there in the other world and make a big harem that symbolizes how woman are treated as objects. Remember that this story is something I would like to read, and frankly most of the royal road stories are too damn lusty and filled with porn. But there will be some romance here and there since people get married and I need to talk about that too, so that is classed as romance right?
