Her hand grips my shirt pulling me closer. I take her head and gently move it closer to my heart. Now I can smell the fragrance of what I know to be vilooms and I like it. My hands snake over her waist to bring her closer still as I bury part of my face in her luscious orange hair.

'Raya. Raya can you come help me.' Mama Rayda's voice penetrates my foggy brain. I want to tell her Raya isn't here, she's in the hall on the sofa chair.

'I'll come back later.' There's mirth in her voice and the door closes.

I cozy up closer to the body in my bed and that's when it hits me.

I stiffen and I feel Raya do the same.

We both, take our time looking at the other trying to confirm the truth of what is.

I'm sure her expression mirrors mine because we both leap out of the bed.

'Mama! It's not what it looks like.' Raya stumbles out the door.

I follow her, my face feels hot and I don't know what to say to Mama Rayda.

'I didn't say a thing.'

But she sure looks like she's thinking about it.

Raya covers we face and groans.
