"You know what- Fuck you! You don't even seem nice enough to babysit my girl!" He hissed once more before hanging up and groaning into the pillow.
"What's the matter?" Asked Shoyo who sat and watched the whole scene unfold. Him and Omi were watching some true-crime videos while Atsumu was doing dumb shit upstairs.
"All the sitters keep cancelling on me!" Bokuto complained "and the game is soon- I can't afford to skip practice!"
"Why can't Akaa-"
"No! I can't burden Akaashi! I always do" He cut in "I have to sort this out on my own."
Atsumu, who was unable to read the room, strode in with the toddler holding his hand.
"DAAAMN SONN! It's not my birthday! Why you serving me all this cake!?" He asked slapping Bokuto's ass harshly.
"Atsumu-San.." Shoyo mumbled with a small smile trying to get him to...realize?
"Come on (Y/n)! You try! It's soft" He urged.
The girl, also couldn't read the room and smacked her dad's butt.
"Oh...Atsumu" Sakusa stifled a laugh, looking away.
"...soft" she mumbled tapping it lightly.
"Atsumu" Bokuto called, sitting up as the deathly aura radiated off him. It was then, the platinum blonde noticed something was up.
"Ah...he-"
"Please refrain from teaching my daughter stupid things" He spat looking very...Not-like-Bokuto.
"Ah- uh.. y-yeah sorry sir.." Atsumu trembled.
"Good!" Bokuto smiled again, his whole demeanor had changed "Cupake no hug for daddy!?" He asked.
She looked away awkwardly. Of course, he expected this. She got her good nights rest so she no longer felt the need to cling onto him unnecessarily.
Or actually, she didn't feel like she was allowed to.
"Aww" he frowned.
"So why are you yelling so loud this morning?" Asked Atsumu.
"He's always yelling." Omi added.
"I'm trying to get a sitter for (Y/n) but everyone's unavailable" he groaned once again.
"Then...why not bring her over to practice?" Suggested Shoyo.
"Yeah.. since there's no other option."
"Huh?"
"I'm sure the others wouldn't mind, it's just this once right?" Added Sakusa.
"Well... okay"
"So are we settled? Can we go?" Asked Atsumu.
"Yeah just let me get her dressed"

"Don't worry cupcake! They're all-"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" A scream boomed from the other side of the gym as thier manager, Mayu spotted the little girl, literally dropping her clipboard and sprinting towards the door.
"Here she comes" Chuckled Atsumu.
"Aunty Mayu" smiled the little girl.
"My BABY!" Mayu squealed basically snatching (Y/n) from her dad. "I've missed you!"
The child giggled as Mayu played with her making Bokuto's mood dampen a little. Of course he wasn't going to show it.
"Well don't you have some explaining to do" The coach chuckled from behind the group.
"Coach! I've been trying to reach you!" Bokuto explained "I needed a sitter- I couldn't find- and she- like you know because-"
"Sorry for bringing her on such short notice. I hope you don't mind sir" Sakusa added, since Bokuto was no longer able to speak properly.
"Well fine.. I just hope it won't affect how you all play today" He smiled waving a the girl who got shy and ducked into Mayu's neck immediately.

"Thank you so much sir!" Shoyo beamed.
Shūgo and Shion watched from the corner as they warmed up.
Shion took a glance at his face and immediately knew what his teammate was thinking.
"You know...actual practice doesn't start till later, just go say hi" Shion shrugged, still stretching him legs.
"Say hi to- No!" Shūgo huffed "I don't- why would I be interested in a tiny child?"
The libero rolled his eyes and tuned out the sound of his teammate grumbling beside him.
Meian Shūgo, The 6"5, Captain and middle blocker of the MSBY black jackals. He was a bulky brunette and mostly known as a Macho-man on court.
It was a shame not many people knew how he truly was.
Sure, he gave off the responsible, calm and reserved aura like Daichi, but his was just an act.
This man was always bickering with Mayu, which made alot of people laugh because he was the team's oldest, aside from the opposite hitter; Oliver barnes.
In conclusion: the only similarity Shūgo and Mayu shared was their undying love for little children.
Oh, they were also newly-weds.
Then there was Inunaki Shion, the libero. About the same height as Hinata. He didn't talk much, but whenever he did it was always something snarky or backhanded.
He acted like Teenage Tsukishima. Of course he actually wasn't a mean person, all his teammates knew his comments were jokes.
"Oh my! Is that Bokuto's kid?" Asked Oliver, the oldest teammate in a funny accent.
He was still working on his Japanese.
"Let's go say hello!" He smiled.
He was the cheerful one, always smiling. He gave off the refreshing vibe which is why all the fans loved him.
(
Shūgo and Shion got dragged by Oliver towards the group.
"Hey!" He greeted.
"Ah! Oliver-San!" Shoyo beamed, Shoyo admired Oliver alot.
Actually, everyone in the team seemed to respect him.
"Goodmorning Oliver-San" Sakusa greeted curtly.
"Goodmorning!"
"I see you brought your daughter today" Shion commented, a void of emotion as he stared at the child. She wasn't too intimidated since he wasn't big.
In her mind; if he tried to attack her, most likely, Bokuto could beat him in a fight.
But that's when someone else caught her attention.
"Hey there little girl" the brunette greeted, placing his hands on his knees as he smiled down at her.
Her face paled as she stared at him in fear while everyone was waiting for a reaction.
Here it comes....
She burst into tears and clutched onto her dad's leg, basically trying to climb onto him.
"Oh- (Y/n)-Chan relax it's just Oliver-san!" Shoyo tried to soothe the child.
"Yeah he's really nice!" Bokuto added picking her up as she began to cry.
Extremely Tall.
6"9.
This man was towering over everyone. He was Huge! And this seemed to scare the shit out of (Y/n).
"Haha.. not everyone's used to this height" He joked, shrugging.
Bokuto put the girl over his shoulders so she'd be just a little smaller than Oliver. "Is this better, Cupcake?" He asked, looking up at her.
She nodded slightly, before looking ahead of her to the man who shot her a toothy grin.
Now she felt bad. She didn't mean to start crying.

He seemed like a good guy.
Feeling shy she rested her chin on her dad's head trying to hide her face in his spiky hair.
"Alright! Enough chit-chat!" The coach clapped, grabbing everyone's attention "let's start today's practice"
"Yes! Just in time!" Another foreigner panted as he stood at the door. "Oh! There's a kid here" he announced.
"Yeah yeah, Thomas. Practice is beginning soon" Mayu sighed, she smiled, shaking her head. She knew these guys all too well.
Thomas Adriah, was almost as enthusiastic as Shoyo, but he always seemed to be late for everything.
Which is why they always give him the wrong times to events to purposely trick him into getting there on time.
He was also fairly tall.
✯¸.•'*¨'*•✿ ✿•*'¨*'•.¸✯
"Go get it, Captain" Shion mumbled.
"What?! Why me! I'm the captain!" The older man Frowned.
"You wanted to talk to the kid right?" Shion shrugged.
"Yeah but-"
"Oh nevermind." Shion mumbled.
"Nevermind wh-" Shūgo was cut off by the child who they were just talking about. She was holding up the volleyball waiting for him to take it.
(Y/n), who had been watching them play had noticed Mayu occasionally get up from her spot to pick up the stray volleyballs and decided she too, wanted to be helpful.
Which lead to where we are.
"You dropped it" she spoke softly, making Shūgo hold onto his chest.
Ahh yes, his weak spot.
Little girls. Couldn't blame him though, Manx grew up in a family of 6 boys. He always wanted a younger sister and now that he was married he wanted a daughter.
Not in a weird way or anything, he just way too many guys in his life. Multiple brothers and what-not. So whenever he saw a younger girl, the 'Doting Older Brother' senses kick-in.
And Mayu just seemed to fuel this even more.
"Thanks" Shion spoke, taking the volleyball from the girl since his teammate was too busy imagining Making Pancakes with this child.
"Um.. so um.. how old are you?" Shūgo asked, squatting to the girl's height.
She pulled out 3 fingers and showed him.
"Wow, you're old" Shion commented with a small smile. "You like volleyball?" He asked.
"Yeah" she nodded.
"Wait. Really! Oh- I'll teach you how to play volleyball!" Thomas cut in. "In fact! You'll be the best middle blocker!"
"Actually... I was gonna teach her how to be an awesome setter" Astumu blinked.
"My Libero senses are tingling. I'll take her under my wing" Shion stated, patting her head "you're my apprentice."
"Have you seen her?" Sakusa scoffed, taking the girl away from the group "she's practically made for wing spiking. Right, (Y/n)?"
"Yes, Boss." She nodded. At times when she didn't understand what anyone said, she just agreed with whatever Sakusa said.
"Boss?" Oliver tilted his head. At this point nobody was practicing.
"Yes. I'm teaching her how to live life" Sakusa nodded "tell them what I've taught you (Y/n)"
"I learned how to hide the blood" she said with a smile.
"Wh- what?"
"Huh?"
".."
"She means the blood on my shirt" Shoyo chuckled. "And actually I do think (Y/n) has Wing Spiker blood in her, seeing as her big brother Shoyo is."
"Well whatever it is, I know my daughter's gonna be the best ace" Bokuto grinned.
"Pardon me." Oliver cut in. "But what if she doesn't wanna play volleyball when she's older?"
".."
".."
".."
"Y'all hear anything?"
"Must be a ghost"
"Aaaanyway! It's time for Snackies!" Bokuto chirped taking his daughter away so his friends wouldn't continue their argument around her.
"Oh my gosh YESSS count me in!" Atsumu smiled, hoppin off the gym floor.
"Yeah! Is it apple crisps this time?" Asked Shoyo following them.
"If they are. Please bring me some, Shoyo" Sakusa asked politely.
"ATSUMU PAWS OF HER SNACKS!"
"Must be eventful at your house" Shūgo commented.
"Tell me about it, one time we almost called the police playing hide and seek" He sighed.
"Oh yeah? Where'd you find her" asked Oliver.
"She fell asleep under Atsumu's bed" Sakusa sighed making the men laugh.
"It's not funny. She wasn't responding! This girl sleeps like a corpse" he complained making them laugh even louder.
✯¸.•'*¨'*•✿ ✿•*'¨*'•.¸✯
"...what is it?" The lady asked her husband.
"I don't know... nothing" Shūgo shrugged looking away.
"Then why are you staring at me?" Asked Mayu.
"I'm not."
"You were."
The team chuckled at the couple's exchange. It was never a dull moment when Mayu was around Shūgo.
Their whole relationship was hilarious. Everyone could remember how nervous he was before asking her out.
Also how she roundhouse-kicked him for not proposing sooner. They were a funny couple
"I don't know.. you just looked cute" He shrugged, a light blush tinting his cheeks "you know.. holding her like that."
Mayu just stared at her husband for a few seconds. This was the same man who was always on her neck "What are you on this evening?" She scoffed.
"Mayu you're such a bitch" Shūgo hissed, not actually annoyed though "I just thought it was cute!"
"The fuck do you mean? I'm always cute" She frowned.
"Mhmm.. the tiny terror" Thomas whispered making Oliver and Shoyo snicker.
"Um.. you're not- you gremlin" Shūgo commented.
"Tch- Bokuto take your child I'm about to beat this man" She huffed, quickly giving (Y/n) back to her dad.
"Shit-" Shūgo cursed before bolting in the opposite direction while Mayo followed close behind.
Who knows how she was able to catch up and tackle him from behind.
"I'M SORRY"
"She totally pegs him" Shion mumbled.
"Mhm..they give off the vibe"
"Don't say stuff like that around my baby!" Bokuto complained.
"I'm not familiar with that word" Oliver commented "could someone please explain?"
They all kept quiet.
"Um... guys?"
"It's best if you don't know... Oliver-San"
During the car ride, it was mostly quiet. Bokuto wasn't feeling his Happy-Cheerful self.
In all honesty, seeing Mayu and (Y/n) have fun together like that made him feel a little salty.
He didn't like the fact that he was jealous. But could you really blame him?
Aside from the cuddles they had during her mini-packing-attacks, he just couldn't help but feel that (Y/n) did not consider him as her father.
He felt like everything was forced. He thought he was being too clingy towards her. He feared that he made her uncomfortable.
It's was not a good day for Bokuto, he just hoped his sour mood would go away soon so nobody would notice anything.
