Destiny woke up in the middle of the night to see Carlisle watching as he sat next to the window.
"I know you don't sleep but don't be paranoid of wolfie." She teased.
"I'm not paranoid. I'm worried for you."
"There's a difference?" She asked and he rolls his eyes.
"Come to lay with me..." She whispered grabbing his arm. He kissed her before pulling her to his lap.
"I need proof as well."
"He won't come. Bells told me that you guys have a scent. If you're here, he can smell you." She reasoned kissing his jawline.
"You've caught my attention."
"Ugh, you sound like Edweirdo." She crawled away. He pulled her by her leg standing over her with a domineering look. Destiny's lips trembled and her legs crossed instinctively.
"I sound like Edward?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"No." She blushed.
"No?"
"F-Fuck, Carlisle. Kiss me." She stuttered closing her eyes. Carlisle kissed her deeply to appease his mate. Her leg bounced in response.
"Destiny, Stop me if I go too far." He growled before kissing her again. Her legs wrapped around his waist.
"Oh, wait, Carlisle." She whispered checking her phone. 3 am. She shrugged pulling him close. She had time. Lots of time...
----
Destiny opened his eyes and found that she was beside her mate. She smiled and he responded in kind.
"Esme can mend your blanket." He whispered brushing a stray lock of hair away.
She pushed herself up. "How did you break a lamp?" She asked with wide eyes.
"I may have bumped into it when we fell off the bed." Destiny blushed bright red biting her lip as the memories came back to her.
"You're cleaning while I go to work."
"Not until I see a healthy temperature." He said sternly. She rolled her eyes.
"Yessir. I'll get the thermometer." She wrapped herself in a robe and went downstairs. Her hair bounced with every step and Carlisle couldn't help but appreciate her curves.

"Stop checking me out. You had time last night." She teased showing him the thermometer that said 99.2.
He gave it a skeptical look and she rolled her eyes.
"Fine. Be careful." He said relunctantly.
"Love you, baby." She kissed his cheek. They began getting ready. All he had to do was put his clothes and a tie on. She bounced pulling up her pants and turned towards him.
"I'll wait for you to finish."
"You gonna watch?" She asked putting a small amount of lipgloss on her bottom lip.
He chuckled and sat on the bed. She sauntered over to him dautingly.
"You were amazing." He praised caressing her cheek.
"Thank you. I appreciate the compliment. I like the thing you did with your tongue." She stuck hers out.
"Naughty girl." Destiny shuddered as he grabbed her waist.
"Carlisle." She gasped as he slid a hand down her stomach. "Wait... Ohhh."
"Right there?" Carlisle chucked as she gasped again.
"Please, I have to go to work." She sighed pushing away.
"I'll be awaiting your appointment."
"I'll be there, promise." She stated walking out of the room. Right when she hit the doorway, she groaned in frustration throwing a couch pillow.
Stupid cockblocking job.
----
She stepped into the office and Charlie greeted her.
"Bella has been acting off." He stated instantly.
"So has Edward." She added in confusion as she turned down the same alleyways.
"Think they broke up or something?" He asked. Destiny grimaced.
"Doubt it but if so then you have my permission to hunt him down."
"Wow, I thought he was your son?"
"Nobody hurts Bell without getting shot." She stated smiling.
"You're like her stepmother. Please, stay that way." He asks with a smile.
"Of course, Charlie."
Their patrol went off without a hitch. The number of people going missing were increasing however.
----
"Hey, Bella." Destiny greeted as she walked into the Swan household.

"Has Carlisle been avoiding you?" She asked as Charlie went upstairs.
Destiny blushed a bit "No, quite the opposite. I got sick yesterday and he came to my rescue."
"Maybe, I did something." Bella began wiping her eyes as they teared up, "I always do something..."
"Hey... It's ok. I'll talk to him." Destiny whispered.
"He's probably done with having a weak human as a mate." She sobbed. Destiny grabbed her holding her.
"That is definitely not it. I promise, we'll get to the bottom of this." She whispered.
"Thank you. Thank you so much." Bella wiped her eyes running upstairs.
"I'm going to the Cullen's, Charlie!" Destiny announced before walking outside in a fast pace. Her walk had a purpose.
To discover what shoved itself up Edward's ass.
-----
The blonde human jumped out and rushed into the house.
"Edward!" She screamed. The car ride had made her more upset believe it or not. Being in her thoughts was not the best idea.
The brown haired boy showed up almost instantly. He was stiff.
"Why are you avoiding Bella?" She asks walking towards him. He growled as she mentioned the human's name and her eyes widened in offense. "I know he did not just..."
Edward raised an eyebrow as she pulled out her .50 cal from her belt.
"Woah. No shooting family members." Emmett yelled coming out of nowhere and taking the gun.
"He'll heal. Let me at him!" She growled, "He growls at my face when I asked him a simple fucking question."
"He's leaving, Destiny. We all are."
"What?" She turned towards him with wide eyes. The boys grimaced.
"We voted against Carlisle, Alice, and Rosalie. It's too dangerous to stay-"
Her body began shaking as pure anger filtered into her system. Her face became bright red as she walked up to Edward.
"You want my mate to walk away from me and our good relationship because you want to pussy out! Fuck you, Edward Cullen! Damn you to hell!" She screamed before walking out the front door. Emmett let her go watching her drive away.
"I told you she would react badly." He stated. Carlisle stepped from the stairs with wide eyes.
"Was that Destiny?" He asked in a stunned voice.
"Oh yea." Emmett chuckled "Our mom is a firecracker."
"Go to her, Carlisle." Edward sighed before speeding off toward Bella's house.
Carlisle ditched his car running after Destiny's car. His hair whipped as he followed the license plate to a dollar store.
"Oh, Destiny, no." He whispered walking in. He caught her in the middle of buying cigarettes and a carton of ice cream from the cashier.
"Destiny." She trembled and he walked over to her. He stared her down without breaking eye contact for a moment.
"Carlis-" He interrupted her with a kiss and another.
"I said never." He growled in her ear.
"But..."
"Edward can solve his own damn problems for once." Destiny's eyes widened at his harsh voice.
"Um... I'm gonna put these back." The cashier whispered awkwardly puting the cigarettes back.
"Come." He commanded. Destiny was about to raise an eyebrow but his face said no nonsense. She took a deep breath to quell the throbbing in her core.
"Carlisle."
"Destiny, in." He opened her door and she crawled in. He followed her into the backseat and they sat next to each other.
"I-" A finger placed itself on her lips.
"Did you yell at Edward?" He asked.
She licked her lips, "Yes."
"Good girl." He whispered unbuttoning her shirt. Destiny flushed instantly as he reached the end of her buttons before she could say a word.
"Do you want this?"
"Of course. Just don't get us caught. I am a cop after all. It won't go down well." She pulled him down on her and he happily obliged.
