Richie and Bev walked to school side by side. They, along with their friends, were animals. Not the party or teenagers who raid malls type, but actual animals. Richie was a black samoyed and Bev was a red fox. Right now they were in their animal forms as they walked down the halls to their friends. When they shifted to their "human" forms they still had some features from their animals.

Stan was a Dove and had large white wings coming from his back and beautiful blue eyes. Mike was a Raven and had the blackest hair imaginable and red eyes along with jet black wings like Stan. Ben was a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit and had light brown bunny ears on top of his head and a forever pink nose. Eddie was a Himilayan Cat and had black ears and a white tail. And Bill was a Fallow Deer and had medium sized antlers coming from his head and white freckles dusting his cheeks.

Richie and Bev shifted to their normal forms, Richie keeping his black tail and long curly hair that went slightly over his eyes which were covered by glasses, and Bev keeping her red/white tail and black tips of her hair that represented her ears. Richie slung his arm over Eddie's shoulder and stood beside him. "Hey guys how's it going?" The loud man asked. "Pretty good. Me and Stan went on one of the best flights we've been on a while. Oh it was great." Mike expressed. He really did look more refreshed and relaxed. "Bev and I are gonna go to the quarry later today. You guys wanna come?" Ben asked. He was honestly so adorable with his twitchy ears and blushing face.

"Sure I could always use a swim and Stan could use a bird bath." Richie commented. Eddie laughed, but quickly covered his mouth when Stan looked over at him. "I might be a little late. Georgie needs me to walk him home after school. Poor little guy keeps tipping over because of his antlers coming in." Bill smiled most likely remembering Georgie tipping and wobbling on his feet. Bev let out and 'aw' and put her hand over her heart. "It's the cutest thing. Tell him I said hi." She said. Bill smiled at her and nodded. "Well I'm gonna go to class. Let's go Richie, we have a test and we need to study." Stan said and grabbed Richie's arm and began walking down the hall. "By 'we' he means me." Richie said pointing to himself and a wide smile on his face.

At this the rest of the group broke off and headed to their classes as well.

It was finally after school and Eddie, Richie, Ben, and Bev were walking to the quarry together. Bill was with Georgie like he said he was and Mike said him and Stan had some work to do, but that just meant they were going to go make out at Stan's locker.

"So are you actually going to get in the water this time Eds?" Richie asked his boyfriend. It wasn't expected that the two would date. They were complete opposites in nature, but really close friends in personality. Richie had asked Eddie out because he promised Bev he would if she asked out Ben. To be fair, Richie didn't expect the Fox to do it, but boy was he glad she did.

Eddie scoffed and swung his hand that was holding Richie's and answered, "What do you think? I haven't gotten in the water the last 3 times we've been, so what do you think the answer is dickwad?" Richie saw that they were close to the cliff and smiled. He quickly let go of Edie's hand and picked him up before throwing him over his shoulder. "Richie! What the fuck- put me down!! Richie-!" Eddie screamed, but got cut off by Richie jumping off the cliff and into the water beneath.

Bev ran to the edge and watched as they surfaced and Eddie punched Richie while yelling about his clothes or something. "You ready hot shot?" Bev asked, looking over to Ben. "Always." The two began stripping down to their underwear (and bra for Bev) and got a running head start and jumped off the cliff. They soon surfaced and wiped their hair out of their faces and began playing in the water. Eddie was now hanging onto Richie's back as he swam and played.

Soon Stan showed up along with Mike and Bill. They stripped their clothes and jumped off. Stan began flicking his wings to get them as clean as he could. The dove took very good care of his wings and everything about himself. From his hair to the outfits he wore and even his bird body. His feathers are always white and soft, never dirty or unkept.

The 7 friends kept swimming and playing for hours on end. Eddie, Stan and Bev laying on the dirt on the cliff to dry off. The three laid on their backs talking to each other and listening to the music that was playing through the speakers connected to Richie's phone.

The other four sat on rocks watching their partners laying out. The three laying down looked over to everyone else causing them to quickly look away, well all except for Richie. "Looking hot Stanley. Got and loving for me?" Richie asked with a smile. Stan sat up on his elbows and looked at Richie with a small smile playing on his lips. "For yo trashmouth I got a lot more than just loving." Stan said, finishing with a wink. Richie's smile dropped and his face heated up and was covered with a red blush. Mike, Bill, and Ben laughed and pushed Richie lightly while he covered his mouth with his hand.

Eventually they all decided it was time to go home. Bill, Bev and Ben lived in Bill's house along with Georgie. His parents died in a car accident a few years back their freshman year. They were 18 now so it was completely legal. Georgie was at his friend Will's house while they were at the quarry so they had to pick him up before going home.

Richie, Eddie, Stan, and Mike didn't live together, but were neighbors. Stan and Mike moved in together because Mike's grandfather passed away and Mike didn't wanna live on the farm or alone. The farm was full of too many bad memories and the raven was always scared being alone, so Stan agreed to move in with him.

When they were looking for a house Richie's old neighbors moved out so they took that one. Eddie moved in with Richie and his parents because Sonia had unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack.

"Good night guys. We'll see you at school tomorrow. Don't forget Eddie, we're going on that...adventure tomorrow." Stan said. Eddie smiled and nodded and quickly ran into his house before Richie or Mike could ask questions. Stan and Mike waved a quick goodbye and walked into their house. Richie stood on the sidewalk in front of their house trying to figure out what 'adventure' meant.

He soon gave up and went inside his house.
