《Plot Twist [VKOOK/TAEKOOK]》March pt.3

As I stand in the wings, watching the members do the first performance of the concert, I can't remember the last time I was this nervous. Especially with my new doctor, who I can never remember the name of, sitting and staring at me from the other side of the wings. She's the opposite of April. Her hair is short and blonde— April's was long and black. She is tall— April was short. Her eyes are slanted and cold— April's were big and warm.
"Don't forget, all you have to do is walk onstage when Namjoon calls you, and he'll explain everything," yet another person tells me. I've been told this about six times in the last minute.
It's all very orderly. Namjoon has a memorised script where he announces that Jungkook and I are together (for some reason not mentioning the other members) and explains what carriers are. It's the most boring thing I've ever heard. The audience won't even want to see the concert after it.
So that's why when the performance ends and the members move to the front of the stage to talk with the crowd, I take matters into my own hands.
I grab a microphone and walk onstage, leaving all my doubts and fears behind me. I hear the collective gasp of the audience and I see the members' confused, scared and annoyed expressions, but I don't care.
"Hello, everyone!" I say happily into the microphone. "I'm V, and I have a few things to say real quick." I gesture between Jungkook and I. "We're gay for each other." I point at Yoongi and Jimin. "They're gay for each other." I point at Namjoon and Jin. "They're gay for each other." I point at Hoseok. "He's straight." Then I point at my stomach. "And I'm pregnant, because hey, that can happen. When you get home tonight, google carriers. It's a real thing. And that's what I am and Jungkook and I are going to be parents in two months so there we go. Now let's get started with this concert. Make some noise!"

I'm expecting stony silence from the audience, or maybe a buzz of murmuring, but to my utter surprise they all cheer when I ask them to. The members all snap out of their trance of staring at me, and the concert begins.
We talk to the audience for a bit at the start, then a chair is brought out for me which I sit on while the members perform, singing my parts. The dance line members all have dance solos, so I go off for those. And all too soon, the concert is about to end. We only have our small thank you speeches and the last song to go. I'm feeling very emotional by the time it's my turn to speak, but I promise myself I won't cry.
"Thank you for an amazing concert, ARMY," I say sincerely. "I've missed you all so much. Have you missed me?" This is met with a chorus of 'yes's. I grin. "We spent too long not seeing each other. You all look even more pretty." Screams from the crowd. "And I just want to say I'm so glad I've finally been able to share this part of my life with you. No more- hic!"
I face palm as the crowd and members all laugh at me.
"Oh, V!" Hoseok walks over to me and grabs my shoulder with one hand. "No more what?" He puts his microphone down to me.
"No-" I cut myself off with another hiccup, which earns more laughter and screaming.
All the members gather around me and point their microphones in my direction.
"No more secrets!" I say quickly.
Everybody cheers and Jimin tosses me a bottle of water.
"And on that note, it's time for our last song," Namjoon says, and the lights go down as they get into their positions.
Thankfully the water helps, and my hiccups have gone by the time I need to sing the new song that I wrote. It's about having secrets and hiding, when all you want to do is be honest. They've choreographed a very pretty dance for it, and as the members dance they move around me and interact with me to make me feel part of it. I don't think I could get any happier than this.
