《Plot Twist [VKOOK/TAEKOOK]》December pt.1

"This birthing ball April got me is actually really comfortable," Taehyung says from where he sits in the corner of the dance studio, bouncing lightly on his big red 'birthing ball'. He's been having a lot of back pain recently so April said this ball would help relieve some of the strain. We brought it down to the studio since we're practising a lot at the moment for our upcoming performance at MAMA, and he likes watching us.
"That's good, Tae," I pant as I walk over to him, plonk myself on the floor and drink greedily from my water bottle. The other members come over and do the same, wiping sweat from their foreheads.
"At least one of us is comfortable," Yoongi says, scrunching up his face as he tilts his head to the side to stretch his neck.
"I might be comfortable right now, but you're still not allowed to complain since you're not carrying around a baby the size of a banana." Taehyung pokes his belly.
"Wow, looks a lot bigger than a banana," Yoongi replies.
Taehyung glares at him. "Someone hit him for me."
"On it." Jin punches Yoongi in the arm, making him wince. Taehyung giggles.
"How long until MAMA now?" Hoseok changes the topic.
"Four days," Namjoon says.
Jimin groans and falls back onto the floor. "I can't be bothered."
All of us jump when the door opens.
"And here is where the boys do their dance practice," Sejin says as he walks in. Then his eyes land on us, and he looks as panicked as I feel. "Oh look, they're here right now."
Then a very tall man I have never seen before walks in. I jump in front of Taehyung instantly. He's not wearing baggy clothes today, and if I move his bump will easily be seen. Which I know is what everyone is thinking because everyone's faces show how much they're freaking out inside.

"Boys, this is Liam Jones, he's in charge of a documentary about the life of an idol and we're helping him out. I wasn't expecting you— especially not all of you— to be here." He looks pointedly past me at Taehyung, who I can't face because I'm scared to move.
"Hello, Mr Jones, we're BTS." Namjoon bows. As Liam Jones bows back, he and Jimin move to either side of Taehyung so we form a barrier around him. Hopefully this doesn't look too suspicious.
"What a nice surprise to meet you all." Liam Jones smiles widely. "I'm terribly sorry, I didn't want to intrude your dance practice. But if I could ask a few questions—"
"Yes you're right, Mr Jones, we should get out of here quickly and let them get back down to business," Sejin cuts him off and speedily ushers him out, slamming the door behind them.
There's a moment of silence, and then Taehyung cracks up laughing, and we all can't help but join in.

Jungkook and I are down in the dance studio waiting for everyone for longer than usual the next day, but when they arrive they make a grand entrance.
"Come on, guys, we're going out today!" Jin announces so loud it makes both of us jump, then dramatically claps his hands. The other members come running in, Namjoon buried under my baggiest jumper which he tosses to me.
"Huh? What's going on?" Jungkook asks.
"We're doing something fun so that both of you can think about something other than Taehyung being pregnant," Hoseok explains.
"Speaking of which— did you know that the baby is now the size of a pomegranate?" I show them my phone screen.
Namjoon snatches my phone away.
"That's exactly the kind of crap we won't be talking about today." Yoongi points a stern finger at me. Jungkook bites his lip to stifle a giggle.

"Taehyung, you're coming with Hoseok and I to a karaoke room. Jungkook, you're going out to a restaurant with Jin and Yoongi," Namjoon says. "Taehyung, put that jumper on, will you?"
"Why do you have to split us up though?" I ask.
"Because then you're more likely to forget and have fun," Jin says with a shrug.
"Hey, we can have fun together. Also where's Jimin?" Jungkook asks. I take a look around and realise Jimin isn't here. I feel bad for not noticing.
"He's taken April out somewhere so she can have a break too," Yoongi says.
"Oh. That's nice," I say.
"Yeah. Now hurry up and get changed!" Hoseok says impatiently.
Jin grabs Jungkook by the arm and tugs him in the direction of the door, Yoongi quickly following.
"We're leaving, see you guys!" Jin waves, and then they're gone.
I throw the baggy jumper over what I'm wearing and put back on the coat I wore down here. "Okay, I'm ready."
Hoseok grins. "Great. Let's go."
I can't wipe the smile off my face as I'm shoved in a car and then pulled quickly inside a karaoke room. I haven't gone out just for fun in months.
We stay in the karaoke room for ages, but it seems to only go by in a couple of minutes. I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard, especially when Namjoon and Hoseok do a very soulful duet. For the first time in almost half a year, I remember what it's like to be a young and having fun.
