When we arrive at the airport to leave for LA there are countless fans waiting, as usual. I get out of the car and wave to them, then look beside me to see Taehyung waving too. For what seems like the millionth time, I look him up and down to make sure you can't see the bump. But those clothes really are baggy. Not a hint of it can be seen.

Thankfully the fans aren't too pushy today, and we make it onto our flight without much trouble. All the members and April sit down the middle of the first class section, with staff members across both window aisles. Namjoon and Jin sit at the front, Jimin and April behind them (In the time that she's lived with us, April has become especially close with Jimin) and Hoseok and Yoongi in front of Taehyung and I, who sit at the back. Before we take off, Hoseok kneels on his seat and turns around to face Taehyung.

"She's definitely coming, right?" he asks in a low voice.

"Her flight is booked for three days from now. Didn't she tell you?" Taehyung furrows his eyebrows together.

"Well, yeah, she did... but I'm worried. It seems too good to be true. This probably won't work, I don't know..." Hoseok trails off.

Taehyung gives him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry so much. Everything will be fine."

Hoseok nods, then sits back down.

"Hey, what was that all about?" I ask Taehyung.

"I told Tori to book a room in the same hotel as us," he whispers.

"Wow, that's a bold move!"

"Yeah. He's going to go and see her our last night there," Taehyung says proudly. "It's about time, don't you think?"

I don't get time to respond before the safety video comes on.

When we touch down the crowd of fans is much bigger and several of them have to be thrown away from us. I hate seeing them manhandled. One of them gets grabs on Taehyung and I watch him instinctively put his arm over his stomach before she's flung aside. None of us are in a very good mood when we go directly to our first set of interviews.

"We only just got here, why can't we just go to our hotel," Jin complains.

"Get ready for a lot of questions about your 'illness' and 'injury', Taehyung," Namjoon says.

Taehyung rolls his eyes. "Looking forward to it."

After lots and lots of interviews, it's finally the day of the AMAs. Taehyung wears a suit so oversized it makes everyone laugh, but at least the bump still can't be seen. When our time comes to move backstage to get ready to perform, Taehyung comes with us and stands off to the side while we all get changed and get our hair and makeup done.

"I really wish I was performing with you guys." He pouts.

"We wish you were too," Jimin says. "This sucks."

"I know," I join in, giving him a sad look. But inside I'm buzzing.

Taehyung has no idea, but at the end of the performance, confetti is going to go everywhere, the colour revealing the sex of the baby. I can barely contain myself.

As we're walking onstage Taehyung stands in the wings, giving each of us a high-five as we pass him. I'm the last member to walk on, and as I do, I cover my microphone with one hand and whisper in his ear: "Watch out for the colour of the confetti— the gender reveal is finally here."

I don't look back at him, but I can imagine how wide his eyes must be right now. The thought makes me want to laugh.

And then the music starts and I go into performance mode.

At the end pink confetti explodes over the entire stage and the audience, just as planned. I sneak a glance into the wings, and see that Taehyung is crying with joy.
