《I Love You to the Moon and Back.Isen x reader》Chapter 15

I walk through the halls, trying to find John, with Remi right on my tail.
"Whats going to happen?"
"I dont know."
"Well did they track the phone?"
"I dont know."
"Are they going to come for you?"
"I don't know!"
She stops talking, and I turn the corner to find John walking with Seraphina. He looks at me. I grab him and drag him into the nearest empty classroom. Seraphina follows us, but I don't mind.
Sera's POV
"John we need to talk." (Y/N) says.
"What is it."
My eyes widen a bit. He hasn't spoken to anyone in that tone, in a long time. Hes always so angry. She looks at me, and looks back at John, and smirks a bit.
"I swear (Y/N) we are not doing this today. Now say something or I leave."
"What? I just think you two are cute together."
I choke on absolutely nothing, and John glares at her.
"(Y/N)..." She throws her hands up in defeat.
"Fine, fine, back to the seriousness. The newspaper was posted on the online website. You know how they have access to everything."
"But we already talked about this. It would take them a week or so to actually find it."
"No John."
Her expression changed.
John's eyes widen. I look at Remi, and she doesn't look surprised at anything they are saying.
Did you destroy the phone?"
"Yeah. But I doubt it was in time."
"Fuck. There a week early." He runs a hand trough his ungelled hair.
"That means, I only have a few days till they get here."
"No."
"What do you mean no?"
"I'm not letting them take you."
"John, this is unavoidable, you know that right?"

"Don't care, I will fight them."
"You can't fight them! What if they bring along him? What then?"
"I. Don't. Care."
She sighs.
"We'll make up a plan later. John, fill Seraphina in. I need to take a nap."
She walks away, and John fills me in on everything.
(Y/N)'s POV
I walk outside, and of course it is raining. I find myself on my way to the boys dorms. I stand, looking up at the window that would be Isen's room. I just stand there, until I hear someones name. I look at who called me, and there is the little orange-haired boy, looking at me.
"What are you doing out here? Your going to catch a cold."
"Isen."
"What's wrong."
I feel the tears I have been holding back, spill out. I practically jump into his arms, and dig my head into the crook of his neck. He hugs me back.
"My Mom found me."
He stays silent.
"I-I just don't want to leave you guys, but I know that when she gets here, she will kill all of you to get to me."
He pulls away, and cups my face with his hand, so I would look him in the eyes.
"I won't let you take her, and I don't care."
"But I just don't want any of you to get hurt! I-"
He crashes his lips onto mine. I am surprised at first, but soon melt into the kiss. We stand there kissing in the rain. It's funny though. I would always cringe whenever they kissed in the rain in all the romcoms. But to be honest I always wanted to be kissed in the rain. I can scratch that off my bucket list.
He pulls away.

"I don't care about if your mom is super powerful or something. I love you, and I will not lose you."
I smile.
"I love you too."
He smirks.
"Well, if we both love each other, in a romantic way. Shouldn't we date?"
I wrap my arms around his neck.
"Well, I guess that is true."
"So what do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes."
He smiles, and twirls me around, and kisses me, setting me down. We hear cheers from the windows, and I look up seeing Remi and Blyke jumping around.
How did she get here before me?
We both laugh a bit and walk inside. Remi runs up to me and starts squealing like a little fangirl.
"OMG lihflsagflaiwhfelf!"
I laugh at her.
"But seriously guys. We have to focus on the problem now. My mother."

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).

Humanity's End
Given a year to prepare by the mysterious ‘system’ for contact with the wider galaxy, humanity must work to ensure the Earth’s defense is ready to meet any challenge. Sadly, most of the world seems dedicated to tearing itself apart as the year-end deadline gets closer. The west is in barely contained Chaos, while the east descends into internal conflict and war. The Pillar Forts, one of the few successful projects of the United Nations headed by the United States, stand ready to defend humanity against any invasion that may come through the strange Connection Pillars that appeared on each continent. Massive steel and stone walls that surround the Connection Pillars. They are filled with deadly men and women trained in all manner of warfare, each trained in the newly acquired System with skills and magical abilities that they put to deadly purpose. Beside these brave warriors, tanks, helicopters, artillery and more stand ready to defend humanity at each of these powerful installations. But, can they overcome the disparity in levels and experience between themselves and the forces that threaten them and the rest of humanity? Main Characters Jessica Brown- A young African American girl. Her 18th birthday in Detroit was the same day the systems message appeared. She discovered she was Level 7, much higher than most of the rest of the world. Why she is blessed, or cursed, with the power she doesn’t know. But what she does know is that she rather likes the feeling that comes with manipulating magic. The week after her birthday, government workers started testing every person in the US in a massive census effort of skills and abilities. Jessica Brown found herself conscripted into the US Magical Corp, a new branch of the US Military, and shipped off to a Pillar Fort. Somewhere hot and muggy in her ancestors’ home of Africa. As she grows stronger, she finds she has some connection to the pillars. While everyone else sees beauty or danger when they look at the pillars, after connection is made all Jessica can see is a Tree. A tree the size of the entire universe. Isaka Smith - is a third generation American and farmer who just wants to be left alone. But she is dragged into the situation by events beyond her control. When people in her small town had to deal with rioters and looters after the system announcement, she rallied them to defend themselves, earning her a trait that the government found extraordinarily useful. After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The US government, hell, even the United Nations, seems to have fallen into complete and utter chaos. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up? DEDICATION: This story is dedicated to my father who passed away recently. Jim Holloway, you’ll be missed you old silverback gorilla. Love you dad. Always have, always will.

Tale of the mage hero [Completed]
so I've been into rising of the shield hero for a while now... a lot of things about it ALWAYS bugged me starting with the fact that the world functions like a game and the heroes are supposed to fight together in a party.... BUT WHERE'S THE ARCHMAGE?! THE BLATANT DISRESPECT TO THE MAGE CLASS IS REAL AND ANGERING! so I decided as a gamer who rather enjoys being a mage and healer, I'd rectify that. and other things. for all intents and purposes this is a self insert but I will be using my proxy OC that I use in my nutty fangirl daydreams. DON'T WORRY! I'M NERFING MY PROXY! this will follow the plot of the anime because..... I want to. and I'm..... LAZY~! and using the manga is too much trouble and the light novel is 800+ chapters long. So FUCK THAT! anyways if you read this and think it's lackluster then I want to see you try your hand at writing tate no yuusha fics! no that's not a challenge or insult it's just a desperate plea for more tate fics... we need some more variety! Alright I'm gonna be honest here. This story is laughably bad. So read at your own risk. The only reason I'm not revising it is because 1 I'm Lazy as fuck and 2 to serve as a lesson on what NOT to do for new writers. So like I said, read at your own risk.
