《We Could Rule The World || UnOrdinary [Isen x Reader]》Christmas Special

"How do I look?" you worriedly asked Remi as you smoothed down your dress. The top of the dress was black and slim-fitting with white snowflakes trimming the edges. The skirt was poofy with green trees lining the bottom and white reindeers on a red background. Your hair was lightly curled and was pinned back with a holly hair clip.
"Lovely," Remi grinned back. She too was dressed up for the Christmas party the school was having the day before all the students went back home for the holidays. Her bow was red with white trims, and her red dress matched it with white fluffy trims.
"Do you think I need makeup?" you worriedly asked and examined yourself in the mirror.
She shook her head, "you look pretty already."
"Maybe some mascara?" you worriedly asked, "I should dress up right?"
"It's all up to you," she smiled reassuringly, "it's just a school party."
You grabbed your mascara and put some one, "eye shadow?"
Remi grabbed your arm and began dragging you out the door, "come on, we'll be late."
"Hold on!" you struggled and grabbed your purse which held your phone and wallet. "Okay," you grinned, "let's go!" Remi led the way out of the room and you shut the door behind you. "Should we have brought jackets?" you questioned worriedly as you looked out the window to see it dark and snowy.
Remi shrugged, "it's not too far."
"I think it's snowing." You frowned as Remi pushed open the door to exit the building. You were hit with a blast of cold air that caused you to bring your arms up to your chest.
"Speed-walk then!" Remi laughed and the two of you basically ran to the main building. Around you, other groups of people were heading over to the school, some, like you and Remi, weren't wearing coats and were desperately trying to keep warm as they ran to the school.
When you entered the warm building, you let out a sigh of relief. It felt really nice to be warm again. Remi let out a laugh and you looked over at her in confusion, "now you have real snowflakes on your dress." You looked down to see a few flecks of white melt into your black dress, "well, you used to have real snowflakes."
You smiled and tried to wipe off the droplets of water, "shall we find Isen and Blyke?"
"Yes," she grinned back. The two of you didn't get far before you bumped into Arlo. "Hey Arlo," Remi greeted and you gave him a wave.

"You two look nice," he complimented.
"Thanks, you do too," Remi smiled back. Considering how the school uniform was already formal, the suit he was wearing didn't seem too different. Though, he did have a bit of flair with his red tie.
"Blyke and Isen are in the cafeteria," he jerked his head in the general direction towards the room.
"Thanks!" Remi waved as the two of you walked away from him.
Once you were out of earshot you couldn't help but bursting out, "at least have Santas on your tie!"
"Right?" Remi giggled.
"Is it prom or a Christmas Party? To Arlo, it's the same thing!"
"But it is Arlo we're talking about," Remi pointed out. She straightened up and acted all posh, "he's the King and he's got to keep his reputation."
"Says the Queen," you giggled and gave her a light bump.
She relaxed and laughed, "but I'm cool!"
"Very," you agreed, laughing as well.
"Hi Sera!" Remi gave a wave to the purple and green haired girl. Said person responded with a less enthusiastic wave, but given it was Sera, it was friendly.
"Happy Holidays!" you added as you passed.
The two of you pushed open the door to the cafeteria that was full of people, however, it didn't take long to find Blyke and Isen. "Hey!" you greeted when you approached them.
"Hey," Blyke nodded and Isen smiled.
"You look nice," he smiled at you.
"Thanks," you grinned, "you do too. And I'm serious about this one." Next to you, Remi let out a laugh while Isen and Blyke looked at you in confusion.
"Are you normally not serious?" Isen looked concerned.
"No no!" you replied hastily and began to explain, "we just passed Arlo and Remi said he looked nice, but in reality he just looked like normal Arlo."
"In my defense!" Remi shouted, "he did dress up...a little."
"What else are we supposed to do?" Blyke questioned as he gestured down to himself. He was wearing a suit, just like Arlo, "it's not like we have festive dresses."
"Isen got the message," you pointed at his tie which was blue and white with some snowflake prints on it. "Festive ties!"
Blyke let out an annoyed scoff, "yeah, yeah."
There was a loud commotion in the corner of the room and Remi stood on her tiptoes to try and be taller, "what's happening?"
"Gingerbread house competition." Blyke replied offhandedly, "they were building earlier."
"Do you want to see what's happening?" you questioned the group.

"No."
"Yes."
You frowned at Blyke, "lame! Remi and I will go then!"
"I'll come with," Isen added.
Blye groaned, "you're peer pressuring me into this. That's bullying."
"Nobody said you had to go," you replied coyly.
"Let's go," he sighed and led the way over.
"He totally wants to see it," Isen laughed.
"I can hear you!"
"Good!"
As the four of you wandered over, the group that was around the commotion started rapidly dispersing. "Now what's happening?" Blyke asked in annoyance, "oh." The group was clear enough that the four of you could see one of the teachers glaring at a group of students who were next to a pile of shattered gingerbread houses.
"I'm assuming someone smashed the houses," Remi mused thoughtfully.
"Typical high school students," Isen groaned and you giggled.
"Let's head out before we get caught up in the mess," Blyke declared and spun around to leave the cafeteria.
"Good call," you nodded and the four of you followed the mass exodus of the cafeteria.
"Where to now?" you questioned and awkwardly swung your arms back and forth.
"I'm guessing there's dancing in the gym," Remi pondered, "so...Christmas songs?"
You gasped and your eyes lit up in excitement, "yes! Let's go!" you shouted before running a few steps towards the gym. Isen and Remi laughed at your enthusiasm and even Blyke cracked a smile.
As the four of you neared the gym, you could feel the music getting louder and louder, "is it a Christmas party or a rave?" Remi wrinkled her nose in confusion.
"One way to find out!" you grinned as you grabbed her arm and dragged her into the gym with you. You entered the gym to find the lights dimmed and Christmas lights hanging down to cast a warm glow over the occupants of the gym. Red and green LED spotlights were bouncing around from the DJ who was enthusiastically playing Christmas music. You looked over to Remi who was smiling, "rockin around, the Christmas tree," you began to sing along as you and Remi danced around, "let the Christmas spirit ring."
"Later we'll have some pumpkin pie," Remi sang along and the two of you were basically screeching along to the music.
"And we'll do some caroling!"
You noticed Blyke and Isen awkwardly standing next to the two of you looking like fools so you turned your attention to them, "you will get a sentimental feeling, when you hear," you tried to do the thing where you'd mime laso-ing someone and they'd come towards you, but Isen was having none of it. "Voices singing, let's be jolly, deck!" since they weren't coming to you, you jumped towards them excitedly, "the halls with boughs of holly." You grabbed Isen's hands and started swinging them around, trying to get him to dance with you. Slowly, his straight face turned into a grin and the four of you (Remi managed to rope Blyke into it) were in a circle dancing way too hard to Christmas music and singing along.
"Mistletoe!" you let out a yelp as the plant was thrown at you. Confused, you looked at the girl who threw it at you. "You know what they say about Mistletoe, right?"
Hesitantly, you looked at Isen who happened to be right next to you, "you can have it back." You handed her the plant. "I'm not interested in playing games."
"Aww come on!" she whined, "is it really a Christmas party if you don't kiss under the Mistletoe?"
"Except we're not under it," Isen pointed out.
"Now it is!" you looked to see another girl holding a stick with Mistletoe on the end above your heads.
"Annoying," Isen muttered.
You rolled your eyes, "if it'll get them to go away, right?" you questioned under your breath.
He looked at you nervously, "I'm dating you and this is awkward," he muttered under his breath so the two girls couldn't hear.
The two girls didn't seem to be leaving anytime soon, "this is harassment." You voiced to them before quickly giving Isen a kiss on the cheek.
"Happy holidays!" they waved before bounding off to harass another poor person.
"What was that?" Blyke pointed at the two girls.
"Mistletoe harassment," you sighed.
Remi frowned, "that's not okay."
"It's fine," you waved a hand to dismiss the concern, "they're just...trying to have fun."
"But they made you kiss Isen," Blyke glowered, "without either of you wanting it."
"I told you, it's fine," you smiled, "we've kissed before."
"What?" Blyke turned his glare to you.
"Oops." You faltered, you forgot that you hadn't told Blyke yet, "Isen let's run!" you grabbed his hand and the two of you ran out of the gym.
"(Y/n)!" you could vaguely hear Blyke's voice shouting after you.
This is a spinoff, so the events that happened here aren't going to be mentioned in the main storyline. Mostly what I'm trying to say, is that Blyke still doesn't know you and Isen are dating. Wishing you guys happy holidays!

Reborn Into My Novel
What if you lived in the world of your own creation? As fate would have it, our dear amateur novelist, Ellie, was reborn into the world of her fantasy novel after falling asleep at her computer. Bewildered as she was, the first person that she met was the protagonist of her novel. To add salt to the wound, it was right before the tragedy that decimated his village as per his backstory. Will Ellie save the village (and herself) to risk changing the fundamentals of her novel? Will she instead let the story run its course and leave everyone in the village to their deaths? Disclaimer: This novel is a work in progress and will be updated hopefully at least once a week. Expect minor mistakes (maybe some typos and punctuation errors) since this is the very first draft. The author suffers from perfectionism and impostor syndrome and therefore attempts to use this as sort of a therapy to break away from perfectionism and self doubt. Basically, the author employs a “I don’t care anymore and screw this trash work” mindset just to get stuff rolling and not set any expectations. Basically, basically, the author just wants to write something and not care about planning and quality and all those nice things about writing a GOOD novel since it’s counterproductive. Kthxbye. ps: Thanks for even reading this trash work pps: You’re not trash for reading this trash work btw ppps: Thanks I love y’all so much Shout out!
