I was on the couch in Zoe's apartment watching a movie, she was at a lecture. But she had promised me she was picking up McDonald's on her way home. There was a knock on the door which confused me, maybe it was Zoe who forgot her keys?

I got up and walked over to the door and opened it to reveal Dele.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"Are you gonna let me in?" He asked

"No"

"Ames I'm so sorry" he said

"How did you know I was here?"

"Mauricio told me, please Amelia just hear me out" he said

"You pretty much implied my best friend is a slut, there's no coming back from that Dele" I said

"Is there anything I can do? You mean too much to me Ames, I can't lose you" he said

"I just need some time and space Del, please?"

"Okay I understand" he said with disappointment written all over his face

"I'll see you around Dele" I said before closing the door.

I got back on the couch and curled up under the blankets all I wanted was food and sleep. My head snapped towards the door to see Zoe walk in with a McDonald's bag in tow.

"My saviour" I said

"I saw Dele"

"Did he say anything to you?" I asked

"He apologised but I wasn't ready to hear it I'm still angry" she said

"I understand" I said to her

"So I got you your food and I ordered pizza" she said handing me my food and getting under the blankets

"You ordered pizza?" I asked

"I ordered extra just in case" she said as she rolled her eyes at me

"Have you talked to Eric?" I asked

"He's been calling me non stop" she said

"And you haven't been answering?"

"Yea, it just sucks, I fucking understand that sex is an important part of a relationship and we've been seeing each other since early September, but come on. I told him something so vulnerable, and he does that. It breaks the trust and I told him because I trust him and I felt ready to take that step. And he does this" Zoe said as tears started to form in her eyes

"I'm so sorry, I know that was hard for you to tell him and I know that it didn't turn out how you wanted it but maybe this is a sign that Eric isn't the one you were meant to take this step with"

"Maybe but it hurts Ames, i think I love him" she said

"Aw baby" I said as I hugged her

"I don't know what to do" she said

"Well do you want to be with Eric?" I asked

"You know I do but it's not that easy" she said

"I know" I said as I just hugged her tighter

"Could we put on a movie?"

I nodded as I just put on the first movie I saw, I knew all she needed right now was some quite. There was a knock at the door and I told Zoe I'd get it. After getting to the door, I saw the pizza delivery guy, but I also saw Eric coming up the stairs.

"Hey, how much is it gonna be?" I asked

"That'll be 15,99" he said

"I've got this" Erik said as he brought out his wallet

"No you don't, you paying for Zo's pizza won't make her forgive you all of a sudden" i said

"I know that I'm not stupid" Eric said

"I'll be paying" I said to the deliver guy

"No I'll pay" Eric said

"Excuse me I just need to get paid so I can leave" the deliver guy said

"Here keep the rest" Eric said as he shoved a 50 pound note in his hands and took the pizza.

"What's the fuck is wrong with you I said I got it" I said.

"Can I just come in and talk to Zoe?" Eric asked as he handed over the pizzas

"I can't the one to decide that, if I were if make sure you'd never see Zoe ever again" I said to him

"I know and I'm so sorry"

"Don't say sorry to me"

"Well I'm not allowed to say it to Zoe" he said

"Amelia What is taking so long?" Zoe asked

"Nothing I'll be right there" I said

"Please Amelia, I love her" he said

I just let out a sigh

"Fine but if she tells you to leave, you leave, understood?" I asked

"Of course" he said

I let him in and he trailed behind me as I carried the pizzas into the living room.

"What are you doing here?" Zoe asked

"He was at the door and he begged me to come in" I said

"Please Zo hear me out" Eric said as he sat down on the sofa next to Zoe

"There's nothing more to say Eric" she said

"What we were saying, I didn't mean it" he said

I just scoffed and rolled my eyes

"Erm could we talk alone" Eric said looking at me

"Oh I'm bothering?"

"Yes" Eric said

"Zo?" I asked

"I'll call you later, okay?" She said

"Yea sure,I'll leave you guy to it" I said as I got my purse

As I was leaving I turned around

"I'm just gonna take some pizza, you know for the road" I said as I grabbed one of the pizza boxes

I could hear Zoe laugh as I walked towards the door.

As I got in my car and started to drive I made the decision to go over to Deles house. My heart was beating out of my chest the whole drive to his house. As I pulled up to his drive way i sat in my car and took a couple of deep breaths. I'm not sure why I was so nervous, I hadn't Don't anything wrong. I got the pizza and walked up to the door. After knocking on the door it took a minuet before Dele opened the door.

"Amelia" He said surprised

"I've got pizza" I said

"What are you doing here?" He asked

"I thought maybe we could talk" I said

"Yes, of course id love to, but could we do it another time?" He asked as he was looking at a car parking outside is house

"What's going on Del? Are you expecting someone?" I asked

"Erm yes I am" he said

"Oh Okay I can come back or something" I said as I heard the footsteps of the person getting closer

"Why is she here?"

As soon as I heard the voice my heart sort of dropped to my stomach. Why was Dele seeing her? I was so confused.

I turned around to see ruby standing there in all her glory.

"I was actually just about to leave" I said

"Yea you should" she said

I wasn't scared or intimidated by her but I didn't have the energy to start something. So I brushed passed her and started to walk towards my car.

"Wait Amelia" Del said as he walked after me

"Why are you chasing her she's not worth it" ruby said

"Just go inside ruby" Dele said as he still continued to walk after me

"Ames" Dele said as he grabbed my arm

"We have one fight and you run straight back to her"

"No that's not what this is" he Said

"Whatever Dele, I really don't want to to do this in front of her" I said

"Okay I'll call you" he said

"Yea sure" I said as I started to walk back to my car.

After getting in, I quickly drove off and as I looked back at deles house he was walking back in towards ruby. I didn't know where to go or what to actually do, I decided to drive to me and Zoe's usual spot. I put on some music and just sat in my car and ate my pizza.

I just couldn't understand why Dele would be seeing ruby.

I didn't know what to do, I couldn't call Winks because I was angry at him, but I couldn't go to Zo.

I let out a big sigh before texting winks if I could come over. I got a quick reply saying yes, which felt like some sort of relief. I finished my pizza before driving towards Winks house. After arriving at his house and knocking in the door, Winks gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Do you still hate me" he asked

"Yes but right now I need someone to talk to" I said

"So you're using me?" He asked

"Yes"

"At least your honest about it, come in" he said letting me in his house

"You want anything to drink or eat?"

"Could I get some water?"

"Sure, sit down and I'll be back"

After he got me water he sat down next to me on the sofa.

"Soo what do you want to talk about?" He asked

"I went to deles house and he was acting kinda weird when I got there and all surprised and stuff, then like a minuet later ruby arrives and he doesn't even explain to me why he's seeing her" I said

"Why would ruby be at his house?" He asked confused

"Exactly what I was thinking, like we get in one fight and he's running back to her"

"No I don't think that's the case" he said

"You're suppose to be on my side"

"I am but I just don't believe he would cheat on you"

"Well he did kiss me while he was with ruby"

"Amelia you're over thinking"

"I am not overthinking anything, it's just the truth" I said

"Are you scared he'd cheat?"

"I want to trust him obviously but come on look at her then look at me"

"I'm not gonna let you sit there and talk about yourself like this, Amelia you're beautiful and I genuinely believe Dele really likes you" he said

"I just don't know what to do" I said with a sigh

"Well we could go eat some food" he said

"I just ate McDonald's and a pizza" I said

"It's okay we can still go get food, I'm starving" he said

"Are you trying to distract me?" I asked

"Yes"

"Well at least you're honest" I said

"Harry"

"Yes?"

"Do you think Dele would cheat on me?" I asked looked down at my hands

"You want an honest answer?" He asked and I just nodded

"Well I know how much Dele likes you, and I don't think he would ever do anything to hurt you. But it's ruby I'm more worried about" he said

I just nodded

"Okay stop worrying and let's go" he said taking my hand

We drove to a restaurant Winks picked, on the drive there we sang along to the radio. I just ordered an ice tea while Harry ordered food.

"Would you stop worrying?" Harry asked

"I'm not worrying"

"Yes you are I can see it"

"Fine I'll try to stop" I said as I rolled me eyes.

I was at Winks house when I got a text from Dele asking if I could come over. After leaving Winks house I drove straight to deles house, I was nervous and anxious.

I slowly walked up the drive way and took a couple of deep breaths before knocking on the door.

The door opened to reveal an unamused Dele and I was very confused.

"What's wrong?" I asked and I stepped into his house

"You were with Winks today" he said

"He's me friend and you don't get to be angry Dele you were with ruby today, you practically told me to leave as you let her in to your house" I said

"I know but you have to let me explain" he said as he took my hand and lead me towards the living room.

I sat down on the couch and let out a sigh "explain then" I said to him

"She called me last night and she said she needed to talk to me and it was urgent" he said before pausing "she thought she was pregnant"

"What?" I asked in shock "I mean thats something, what did you do" I said regaining composer

"I was shocked like I do want kids obviously but then I don't want kids now or with someone I don't love, and that's why she was here today"

Doing the math in my head and how long ago they broke up, she had to be at least 5 weeks pregnant. I felt sick for some reason and my heart was beating very fast.

"So she's pregnant" I said with my voice all shaky

"No no that's the thing she's not she was here to take a test because she didn't want to do it alone" he explained

I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.

"Amelia What did you think she was doing here?" Dele asked

"I don't know it was this, but my mind just went to the worst place possible" I said

"You don't think I would actually cheat on you?"

"No it's just her I don't trust her" I said

"But you'd trust me enough to push her away and tell her to stop" he said

"I don't know Del" I said looking down at my finger

"Wow" Dele said shocked

"I think it's just my insecurities and I get that's not fair on you. But your not blameless either Del, you barely trust me around Winks" I said

"Because you and winks pretty much act like a couple"

"But we're just friends and I've already told you I like you, not Harry. We're nothing more than friends"

"I know that but it's just-"

"You don't trust me?" I asked

"I don't trust him"

"And I don't trust ruby" I said "and you guys were together for 2 years"

"I know, it's just hard but I trust you Amelia, I like you no one else and I wouldn't want to have anyone else" he said

"And I trust you" I said as I took his hands in mine

He pulled me in to a hug and just tightly wrapped his arms around me.

"Do you know If Eric is with Zoe?"

"Yea they were talking when I left" I said

"What do you think is gonna happen?"

"I'm not sure she loves her but what he did, was over the line" I said

"I know but it's just guy talk and he didn't mean it" he said

"It doesn't justify it, If Someone chooses to wait for sex until marriage or for the right person or never wants to have sex that's up to them and the same if someone chooses to have sex. It's no ones business and you should just respect their decision. Zoe told him because she was finally ready to take that step with Eric, now he's broken her trust and it will take time to forgive him if she decides to forgive him"

"I know and I understand you should respect the persons choice and I'm all for that. But I know that Eric respects Zoe's choice, but that's just how us guys talk we share stuff like that and make stupid comments" Dele explained

"That doesn't justify what any of you said"

"Do you talk like that about me when I'm not around?" I asked as I started to overthink

"No of course not" he said

But something in me just had a hard time believing that.

"Okay" I said

We sat a couple of minuets in silence

"You know I should actually get going I'm really exhausted" I said

"Amelia" Dele said with a sigh

"No seriously I'm just tired, it's been a long day. I'll see you tomorrow" I said as I started walking towards the door. And I could hear Dele just let out a sigh.

After walking out of his house I got in my car and let out a big sigh. I told myself I wouldn't cry so I held back the tears as I drove towards Zoe's apartment.

After entering her apartment it was very quiet so I assumed she was asleep as the time was 9pm. I walked into the living room to see the lights still on, Zo and Eric asleep on the couch. It looked like they accidentally fell asleep, both were opposite ends and cuddled up in a ball. I wonder what happened, I don't think they kissed and made up. I turned off the lights and slowly tiptoed to Zoe's bedroom. I changed into some pyjamas before turning off the lights and getting into bed.
