It was match day today and everything was chaotic to say the least. With the preparations and all that everything had to be perfect.

It was during the first half and Tottenham were winning 1-0. I was offered to sit at the bench with the rest of the team, but I said I'd be fine watching from the dressing rooms.

I was not gonna be spotted out in public in spurs gear, I just couldn't. Over time I'd probably warm to it and go out into the stadium with my Tottenham gear. But for now I was okay with being in the dressing room, 30 minuets into the match I started to put out new clothes so the guys could change at half time.

As the half time whistle blew I could hear loud footsteps and a bunch of noise getting closer to me. I knew it was the guys I made sure everything looked good before they entered. They all came in the scent of sweat hit me, I didn't say anything I just stood by the door as I listened to Mauricio give the guys a pep talk. After the guys changed had something to drink and a bit to eat the headed back out to the pitch. I continued to watch the match from the dressing room, while sorting trough the guys clothes. After the 90 minuets Tottenham won 2-1, goals by Son and Kane. After the guys came in and they were celebrating their first win of the league, I decided to go out and wait on the buss for them to get showered and all of that. We went back to the hotel only to pack up our stuff and then leave for the train station. I just couldn't wait to get back home and tell Zoe all the shenanigans the guy are putting me trough. On the train I sat next to Hugo we talked for a bit but most of the ride i was listening to music. After finally arriving back in London I just couldn't wait to get home. I just kinda felt down today all tiered and not really in the mood for talking. Maybe it was because of last night and my insecurities just messing with my head. What ever It was I just couldn't wait to get home, be in my bed, eat McDonald's and watch a movie.

After getting off of the train a lot of the guys were taking a taxi home or being picked up. My dad was being picked up by my mum and i was being picked up by Zoe. Mauricio offered some of the guys a ride home and forced me to do the same. Son,Eric and winks took me up on that offer and I just sighed as I lead them to the car.

"Who are these?" Zoe asked as I walked up to her.

I embraced her in a really big hug, it had only been a day but I need my bitch next to me at all times.

"I got you a iced coffee since I know you haven't had one today" Zoe said

"Thank you, you know me so well" I said taking it from her

"So who are these" she asked looking at the guys.

"This is Son, Eric and Harry, who all need a ride home" I said pointing at who is who.

After putting our bags in the trunk and getting into Zoe's car, I was just drinking my iced coffee not talking.

"Congratulations on your win" Zoe said

"Oh did you watch the match?" Eric asked

"No i didn't have the chance I had class" she said

"You in uni?" He asked

"Yes I'm, I'm studying to become a psychologist" she said

"That sounds so cool, I bet it's a lot of work" he said

"Yea I do end up spending a lot of hours revising" she said

"Can you guys stop flirting?" Winks asked

"The first thing I agree with you on" I said

"We're not flirting" Zoe said blushing a bit

"Okay keep on lying to yourself sweet cheeks" winks said

"So can we talk about what happened when you and Dele went out last night?" Winks asked

"You and Dele went out?" Zoe asked shocked

"Also could I get some addresses of directions cuz I'm not sure where I'm going" Zoe added.

After Harry wrote his address into the gps I began to explain to Zoe

"So they practically forced Dele to follow me to the store then we barley talked on our way there then I got my stuff and he got his then he payed for my stuff and that pissed me the fuck off then we didn't talk on the way back to the hotel" I said

"You're not even making an effort to get to know him" Son said

"He doesn't want me and I don't get why you keep on trying to force it" I said

"Why do you think he doesn't want you?" Zoe asked

"He already has a girlfriend, who he would never leave specially for me, you just know when someone doesn't like you and I get that feeling from him and I don't want to force something that'll never be, it's like fighting a war you know you'll lose, there's no point" I said getting frustrated

"You just need to trust us" Harry said

"Why I know I'll be the one getting hurt in the end" I said

"You just need to give it some time, Dele is not an expressive person when I first met him I didn't like him because he didn't talk and I though he was rude, but he's just really shy you just need to him some time" Eric said

"I don't know" I said

"Just give it some time it'll all work out" Son said as the car came to a halt.

Harry got out after telling me to trust the process. We drove off and next up was Son and thankfully we didn't talk about the whole Dele thing. The whole ride to sons house consisted of Eric and Zoe talking/flirting with each other.

"Bye Amelia ill you on Monday, thanks for the ride Zoe and it was nice meeting you, Eric I'll see you tonight" Son said saying his byes to us.

He was honestly just the cutest person ever.

"What's happening tonight?" Zoe asked Eric

"Me and some of the guys are having a guys night at mine, you guys could come if you'd want to" Eric said

"If we came it wouldn't be a guys night anymore" I said

"Yea but you know Dele will be there, you have to come" Eric said

"I'll see about it" I said

"Zoe you should also come" he said but in a softer tone

For the rest of the ride to Erics house I zoned out and wasn't listing to their conversation.

"I'll see you guys tonight" Eric said before getting out of the car

"Wait when did we agree on joining their guys night?" I asked confused

"I asked you and you didn't answer so I took it as a yes to going" she said

"You just want to see Eric again" I said

"No...okay maybe he's just so good looking and nice" she said

"Can someone please explain to me how you meet a guy and 10 minuets later you guys are flirting and he's inviting you to hang out while me on the other hand the guy I kinda sort of have a crush on hates me" I said

"I'm sure Dele doesn't hate , but as the guys said he's shy and isn't that expressive and I know for a fact that you're the same and you sometimes tend to come off as mean even tho you don't mean to be" Zoe said

"What ever could we get some food I'm so hungry" I said trying to change the whole subject

"Of course, I'm in the mood for Nando's" she said

"No not Nando's please" I said

"Fine But were not having McDonald's" she said

"What else is there?" I asked

"Pizza?" She asked me

"Nah Burger King?" I asked her

We both looked at each other and just said "Nah"

As we continued bickering about where to eat we ended up eating at some vegan restaurant Zoe had chosen. I wasn't that happy about it but I did end up liking the food.

"We should get ready before tonight" Zoe said as we exited the restaurant

"Do we have to go?" I asked her

"Please it's gonna be fun" she said

"You're gonna be sitting and flirting with Eric the whole time" I said as we got into the car

"I am not"

"What ever you say" I said

After getting back to the house me and Zoe both got changed and did our make up before leaving to go to Erics house. I was wearing a black t-shirt, light washed denim jeans with rips and my nice airforces. I had my hair down in my natural waves since I wasn't bothered to do anything with it. Zoe was wearing a black sundress with daisy flowered on them, she was wearing a pair of white trainers and had her hair up in a pony tail. No matter what she wore she always managed to look beautiful.

I was nervous about tonight and what was going to happen.

"Okay now that everyone is here can we order dinner?" I asked the guys

I was so hungry and couldn't wait for some food.

"Everyone is not here" Eric said

"Yes we are, or did Christian decide to come?" Kane asked

"No he's not coming" Eric said

"Then who is?" I asked

"Amelia and her friend Zoe"

"Why are they coming?" I asked

"Because Eric is into Zoe" Son said

"I am not" Eric said

"You guys were flirting none stop during the car ride" Winks said

"We weren't flirting I was just asking her questions" Eric said in his defence

The door bell started to ring and Eric got up to open the door. After a while I heard footsteps coming closer and closer to the game room. Soon after the door opened followed my Eric, Amelia and what I was guessing was Zoe.

"Zoe this is Dele and Harry, guys this is Zoe" Eric said introducing us to Zoe

"Hi nice to meet you" I said shaking her hand

"Nice to meet you too" she said to me.

Amelia was looking around for somewhere to sit so I patted on seat next to me and after doing so I realised how weird that was. But she sat down next to me on the loveseat I was sitting on. She didn't seem like she wanted to sit next to me. But I was destined to find out why she didn't like me other then me being a spurs player, there had to be more to it. Maybe it was because what ruby had said, I honestly didn't think that, Amelia looked way better then ruby, but it wasn't only about looks it's Amelia's whole personality that attracts me to her. I said what I said to make ruby feel secure and stop being jealous. But I was with ruby I shouldn't be thinking about other girls right? Before coming here I had gotten in a argument with ruby Amelia was brought up once or twice, I couldn't understand why ruby was so fixated on her, maybe she was just jealous.

I pushed all those thoughts to a side it wasn't what I wanted to be thinking about right now.

"Okay now that everyone is here, what are we eating for dinner?" I asked

"What do you guys want?" Kane asked

"I'm in the mood for Nando's" I said

"I've been craving Nando's all day" Zoe said

"So Nando's it is" Winks said and everyone agreed.

"What do you want?" I asked Amelia since I noticed she was being quite

"I'm okay with Nando's" she said

"Alright I will out to get the food" I said as I stood up

Winks and Son were so into the Fifa match they were playing, didn't even notice me say anything, Kane just nodded, while Eric and Zoe just nodded and they continued talking.

"You want to follow?" I asked looking at Amelia. She didn't answer right away she took a minute to think and she looked over to Zoe before saying sure.

"Zo do you want your usual?" Amelia asked looking at Zoe, Zoe just nodded with a smile.

"Why don't we know each others usuals?" Kane asked

"Because you fuckers change it ever 2 minuets" I said

"Okay text me your order" I said to them as I started to leave the game room with Amelia

"You ready" I asked as I put my shoes on

She just nodded without saying anything, is this how the whole drive is gonna be like I asked myself. After getting In the car I started to drive to the nearest Nando's.

"How are you doing?" I asked her

"I'm good, you?"

"I'm fine, you're not that talkative today" I said to her

"Why do always expect me to be so talkative?" She asked

"I don't know because you usually are" I said to her

"You've known me for 6 days" she said while rolling her eyes

"Why do you hate me?" I asked her

"I don't hate you" she said looking offended

"Well you sure as hell act like it" I said to her

"I gave you one of my granola bars" she said in protest

"You have these moments where you're nice like when you have me one of your granola bars but then you have these moments like when we were going to the store you didn't talk to me, it's like hot and cold type of thing you have going on" I explained to her

He said I had a hot and cold type of thing going on which annoyed me.

"You're reading way into this honey" I said to him

Okay I had to admit I was mean to him sometimes and cold, but being like that keeps me protected from everyone. It was definitely a defence mechanism, it was a way to assure that I wouldn't get hurt, that's why I rarely let anyone into my life.

"Is it because I'm a spurs player" he asked

"Partially"

"So you're admitting it, you don't like me" he said

I just let out a sigh this boy was too much for me.

"I don't mean to be mean" I said to him

"I'm not saying you're mean, it's just sometimes you seem to want to push me away?" He said

I don't think he himself understood if it was a statement or a question.

"Is it because you genuinely don't like me or is there another reason to it?" He asked

"It's not only towards you, it's towards anyone who gets too close, it's a sort of defence mechanism" I said kinda explaining to him.

I didn't even understand why I was telling him, telling him this meant that I was sort of letting him in.

"Why? What are you defending or protecting yourself from?" He asked briefly taking his eyes of the road and looking at me

"From getting hurt? I don't know doesn't everyone want to protect themselves from getting hurt?" I asked

"Yea of course but you to be able to get hurt you have to be vulnerable and you don't strike me as a person to let people see you for who you are" he said

"I'm sorry dr Phil I didn't know you were a expert" I said kinda annoyed because what he was saying was true.

"See it's stuff like that, you just change the conversation whenever it gets too personal" he said

"I don't get why you're pushing this? It's not about you It's my own personal problems, so why are you pushing it?" I asked

"I want to get to know you, but it's hard to do that when you won't even open up the slightest bit ever"

He said as he pulled over to park.

Why would he even want to get to know me? I swear he didn't even like me?

"I guess I could be more open" I said to him

"That's all I wanted" he said as he started getting out of the car.

We walked in silence to Nando's, it wasn't that busy and I was thankful.

We went up to the till to order the food.

"Amy you go first" he said to me

The only ones who were allowed to call me Amy was my mum and dad. Zoe even knew not to call me Amy. But when Dele said it, it didn't really upset me I didn't seem to mind it and I'm not sure why, but that didn't stop me from telling him off.

"Don't call me Amy" I said

"Why not?" He asked

"Because you don't get to call me Amy?" I said

"What can I call you then?" He asked

"My name, Amelia" I said

"Are you guys gonna keep on arguing or actually order something?" The guy behind the till asked

After ordering we sat down at a table to wait for our food.

"Okay If I cant call you Amy can I call you......Ames?" He asked

"I guess that's okay" I said

"Look at this you're being nice to me, we have nicknames for each other" he said

"I don't have a nickname for you" I said

"Dele is a nickname right? Your real name isn't Dele" I said

"Yes my birth name is Bemidele" he said

"That's a really beautiful name" I said to him

"Okay so since Dele is already a nickname, my nickname for you will be Del? Yea Del" I said

"I don't mind that, Ames and Del, sounds like a dream team right there" he joked.

"So what's the deal with me not getting to call you Amy?" He asked

"I'm trying to be nice and more open, but that's a story for another time" I said

"Okay I'll take that" he said

After getting out food and getting back to the house.

"We're back with food" I said putting the bags of food on the dinning room table and walking toward the game room

After entering I saw that now the 2 Harry's were playing against each other, Son was on his phone, Eric and Zoe were just talking to each other.

"Anyone want food" Dele asked

Winks paused the game and just nodded as he got up, the rest followed after.

I started handing out everyone's food and drinks, because Del had no clue what he was doing.

After handing out the food I sat down in between both Harry's and across from me was Dele.

"Who orders a wrap from Nando's" Dele asked looking at me

"I do, stop judging" I said

"I'm not judging you" he said

I didn't answer him I just continued eating my chicken wrap. I in all honesty don't even remember why I said no to Nando's earlier today, I hadn't eaten it since getting home from my year abroad. A year without Nando's now that was a fucking struggle.

"So Zoe are you an arsenal supporter like this one over here?" Winks asked

"No I'm not, I'm a Manchester United fan, I've been it as long as I could remember" she said

"As long as you don't support our rivals" Kane said

"I honestly hope arsenal wins the north London Darby" I said

"That's not happening" Del said

"I guess we'll have to wait to see, but I genuinely believe that arsenal will win" I said. I knew it was never good to be too confident with something that was out of your hands.

"Don't be too cocky Ames" Dele said

I just rolled my eyes at him and didn't even bother to answer.

After dinner we returned to the game room and we continued playing Fifa all of us taking turns, we also just talked and it was really nice. Around 1 AM I was getting extremely tired and I just wanted to sleep.

"Zo don't you think it's time for us to head home" I asked

"Oh yes if you're tired" she said looking at the time

She had spent most of the night talking to Eric and they seemed to be having a good time and I hated to interrupt that but I was dead tired.

"I could drive you home so Zoe could stay for a bit longer, I was just gonna head home too" Del said

"Is that cool with you?" Zoe asked me and I just nodded.

"I'm gonna sleep at yours so I'll see you when you get home" I said while gathering my stuff and preparing to leave

"I'll see you then" she said

"You think he's gonna have the guts to ask her out?" Del asked as we got to his car

"I think he will, maybe she'll ask him out who knows" I said as I got into his car

We drove to Zoe's apartment in silence, it wasn't an awkward silence or anything like that it was more of an comfortable silence.

"Do you wanna follow me up, have something to drink?" I asked him

I hope he didn't read to much into this and thought maybe something else was going on. After getting to Zoe's apartment, I made us some tea and we sat on the couch.

We were talking we weren't talking about anything deep, we were talking about Eric and Zoe, Fifa ratings and conspiracy theories. We didn't get too personal because I feel like we both had a lot of stuff we weren't just ready to share with one another or anyone else.
